16/07/2024: Very nice Indian restaurant located in a quiet and discreet little street. The decor is cute and the atmosphere pleasant. Top notch service! The dishes and cocktails we chose were delicious and generous. Very good restaurant that I recommend. Small downside: I found the cheese naan a little too dry. It was even crispy in some places.

13/12/2024: I highly recommend this restaurant. The welcome is really wonderful, the service is top notch and they are extremely kind. I mentioned at the start of the meal that it was my daughter's birthday and they brought a small cake with a candle. It was so cute. Thank you very much to the whole team.

16/11/2024: Great time spent in Punjab yesterday, birthday celebrated with joy and delight! The only downside is the prices 🥶 afterwards for 25€ the escape menu is full and we enjoy it

06/11/2024: The mango lassi is a delight to start, followed by a creamy and flavorful butter chicken, accompanied by a spicy Punjabi kebab. To finish, the pistachio ice cream is a real treat, perfect to end this meal I highly recommend it!

The curry was an explosion of flavors, and the naan, light and golden, accompanied each bite perfectly. The service was fast and the waitress was very cheerful and professional. I also loved the dessert selection. In short, a restaurant that fully deserves to be recommended. 18/09/2024: Nous avons testé cet indien ! Ambiance : Salle correcte donnant sur la rue. L accueil est sans sourire et le service également ! La musique indienne un peu forte. Côté cuisine : Pas mal de choix dans la carte Des menus à partir de 14,90 euros en semaine. Les plats sont corrects mais sans plus Le raita bof Le poulet masala ou poulet curry bon mais ça s'arrête là. Le nan fromage idem Pas d'alcool sur la carte On a testé mais on a pas été séduits Pas sûr qu'on y revienne Le point positif : vous pouvez passer commande à l'avance et à emporter

03/09/2024: We really liked the rice, the cheese naan which is very large, the lamb curry, the byriani! Thanks to the waiters who were very attentive, asked us if everything was okay, and also replaced the practically empty carafe. We felt welcomed.

02/08/2024: On s'est régalés ! Situé pile en face du Rex. Concept on on peut composer soi-même son assiette ou son sandwich. Butter chicken délicieux, cheese naans fondants, bon lassi à la rose et en plus un accueil vraiment adorable. On recommande à 100%!!!!

06/09/2024: J’avais déjà fréquenté ce restaurant indien de Strasbourg et je n’en avais pas conservé de souvenirs émus ..! J’y suis retourné aujourd’hui pour le déjeuner et j’ai adoré ! D’abord côté menu, une formule à 14,50 € composée d’une entrée , d’un plat et d’un café …ou autre boisson chaude ! J ai choisi cette option, en entrée beignets de légumes petits pois pommes de terre servis sur un coulis un poivron , excellents , et côté plat, filets de poulet cuits au tandoor et agrémentés d’une sauce tomatee légèrement épicée…servi avec un riz basmati… un régal. J’avais commandé des nans au fromage, sans être exceptionnels , ils étaient plutôt bons, légèrement croustillants et bien garnis en fromage. L’accueil est sympathique et le service efficace.

03/09/2024: Very good Indian restaurant that we know well, where we return as often as possible. It's a restaurant that presents well, with impeccable service, having a fairly large room, all this without being very expensive, which allows you to return as much as you want. Having tried most of the dishes on the menu, I can only recommend this restaurant. As for what I prefer, I recommend Chicken Lollipop as a starter which are very tasty appetizers. I also recommend the Butter Chicken as a main dish with the Naan that you like best. Variation of chicken dish that I prefer the most because the sauce goes particularly well with the rice. And I like to have a lassis for dessert.

10/09/2024: Too expensive for what it is. The sauces are too liquid and flavorless. The dishes are not qualitative at all. To flee!!!!

09/12/2024: Le Royal indien offre une belle carte de spécialités indiennes. Les samossas sont excellents. Les cheese nans sont bien garnies. Tous les plats qu’on a l’habitude de goûter sont bons. On n’est jamais déçu par ce restaurant niché dans une petite rue du 17e. Le service est irréprochable.
