02/09/2025: My experience at Lou Campo was overall disappointing. The quality of the food was clearly not up to scratch.
I ordered a escalope, which, in my opinion, was completely substandard. The meat was low-quality, deep-fried, making it greasy and flavorless. The fries that came with the dish were frozen. The zucchini fritters were heavy and doughy. I would be ashamed to present such dishes and recommend them as specialties. It is unacceptable to offer such cuisine, especially in a city like Nice, where gastronomy is a strong point.
The only positive point I can recall is the service, which justifies the two stars I give the establishment.
In short, I do not recommend this establishment if you are looking for an authentic culinary experience. Tourists and locals deserve better than what is offered.
28/08/2025: A restaurant you'll always want to return to. The products are of high quality. Different locations are available: terrace, veranda, or dining room, depending on the season.
Mediterranean cuisine, burgers, pizza. The grilled octopus salad is divine.

27/09/2024: Great hotel in a good location, close to all the “top” spas, I thank Ophélie who listened to us
25/09/2024: Room 3/5: The room was nothing spectacular and it was kept clean, the first few days the air conditioning made the room quite humid so I was forced to turn it off.
Service 4/5: Service was good even if not everyone in the structure was polite, although there was a young girl bar tending some nights, Chirine I think, that showed an amazing work ethic and that stayed late at the job even when her shift was done, just to help out.
Location 5/5: The hotel is an 8 min walk form the city center.

01/02/2026: Extremely disappointing stay.
The bathroom was in an unacceptable state: the bathtub water was cloudy and yellowish (see photo), making it impossible to wash. The problem was reported to customer service, but there was no response or solution.
A complete lack of hygiene and respect for the customer.
24/01/2026: A truly wonderful stay at the BOSCOLO. The welcome, the room, and the services offered in an exceptional setting, all at excellent value for money, were all outstanding.
A magical escape in the otherwise over-touristy world of Nice. What a delight!

15/12/2024: This hotel is a charming spot! It offers nice rooms with beautiful views. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. All around excellent service. The restaurant serves Mediterranean food and the atmosphere his quite peaceful. I had a lovely stay!

The decor needs a complete overhaul, the furniture is in poor condition, and they don't accept credit cards. We won't be going back!
29/01/2026: Disappointing.
A truffle Camembert served with absolutely nothing, not a single lettuce leaf, not a slice of charcuterie. The steak tartare was blended like dog food, accompanied by frozen fries. It's a far cry from real steak tartare, hand-cut with a knife...
The toilets are filthy, with urine on the floor, water damage on the wall, and unsightly blisters.
And to top it all off, in 2026 the restaurant doesn't accept credit cards!
It's a shame, the location is quite nice and the staff are friendly.

26/09/2024: For those who like generous portions, look elsewhere... We ordered truffle pasta, which was good, but not enough to justify a €26 dish... the same goes for the scallops, also good, but €28 for 3 scallops and 3 green beans is still too expensive for the portion size.
The service was mediocre; they were completely overwhelmed, and the highlight was when they offered us a limoncello if we left a positive review on Google... In short, there's a lot to improve...

11/11/2025: I'm talking about what I tried.
The Bolognese was perfect, and I say this as someone who absolutely loves this dish.
The day before, I was in Nice and ordered it, and I was shocked by how bland it was. It had no spices, no real tomato flavor, let alone any meat taste.
As for the staff, they were very friendly and their service was quick.

24/08/2024: Didnt taste the food but the service was horrible. we were there with 5 frienfs and 2 ordered pizza and then they kicked us out bc we didnt eat enough pizza. no one else was even trying to get into ur poorly designed store so why kick ur only customers out... Lady working there was just rude and bitter. Also speaking italian expecting we were gonna understand. Would not reccommend.
The man was nice tho :( poor guy

04/09/2024: Siamo in tanti, uno solo vuole mangiare. Dicono ok. Ci sediamo e il gestore (?) dice alla cameriera che la cucina è chiusa. La cameriera in imbarazzo cerca di proporre qcos'altro ma da dietro il gestore (?) le urla che non c'è NIENTE. Evidentemente diamo fastidio. 2 coca, 6 birre piccole, 1 acqua piccola in plastica: 52 euro.
04/09/2024: Great restaurant! I ordered via UberEat the first time and my partner and I were pleasantly surprised and extremely satisfied. The dishes were tasty and generously served in quality packaging for delivery. Then we went to dinner there and our crush on this restaurant was only confirmed. Welcoming, helpful, professional and very friendly staff. We were delighted with our evening and will return without hesitation. The cuisine is exceptional, just delicious. I recommend this restaurant with my eyes closed! You will not be disappointed!

10/12/2025: An utter disappointment, a truly awful "pizza": undercooked dough soggy from canned tomato sauce thrown on top, three tiny pieces of cheese scattered everywhere, a pizza straight from the freezer—it couldn't possibly be homemade. I wanted a green salad with it... three lettuce leaves cut into quarters for €7, the price of a tiramisu! A disgrace. I'll never go back. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

02/07/2025: had the pleasure of dining at this Italian restaurant recently, and I can confidently say it was one of the most enjoyable meals I’ve had in a long time. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for the entire evening. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and genuinely seemed to care that every guest was having a great experience.
The interior of the restaurant is beautifully designed – cozy yet elegant, with soft lighting and tasteful decor that creates the perfect ambiance for a relaxed meal. Whether you're going out for a romantic dinner, meeting friends, or enjoying a family gathering, this place makes you feel right at home.
Now onto the food – absolutely outstanding. Every dish we ordered was cooked to perfection. The pasta was fresh and perfectly al dente, the sauces rich and flavorful without being too heavy. I had the [insert dish you had, e.g., "Tagliatelle al Tartufo"], and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the passion in the preparation. The pizza was equally delicious, with a thin, crispy crust and just the right amount of toppings.
We also tried a few appetizers and desserts, and each one was just as impressive as the main courses. The [e.g., "bruschetta"] was fresh and bursting with flavor, and the tiramisu at the end was the perfect finish – light, creamy, and not overly sweet.
What really made the night special, though, was the service. The staff were not only efficient but also genuinely kind. They took the time to explain the menu, offered excellent recommendations, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever rushing us. That level of hospitality is rare and truly appreciated.
In a city with so many dining options, this restaurant stands out for all the right reasons. Great food, wonderful atmosphere, and exceptional service – I can’t recommend it enough. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
