04/08/2026: As a longtime pizza lover, I give a 20/20 to the Moit-Moit pizza I ate last night, in the shade of the trees on this Monday evening in August. The option to try two pizzas for the price of one is brilliant for foodies like me who sometimes have trouble deciding! The wine from the Hérault region was excellent, and the service was friendly and efficient. We'll definitely be back, but we'll probably need to book ahead as Place Ste Marthe is often very busy, partly due to the lack of cars.

We came for a simple breakfast and found everything you could want: good coffee, creamy cappuccino, croissants, and pain au chocolat... basically, we started with the idea of ​​a quick breakfast and ended up really enjoying it! 😋 But the real surprise was the prices, especially considering the location: €1.70 for a coffee and €3.50 for a cappuccino. In Nice, on the port, and in such a pleasant place, I honestly wasn't expecting it! 👏 The place is in a truly fantastic location, perfect for sitting quietly, gazing at the port, and starting the day slowly. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant. Good quality, very fair prices, and a splendid location. When you find a place like this, you just have to come back! ☕🥐❤️

01/09/2026: We stumbled upon this café/restaurant and are so glad we stopped. We had an excellent meal. Although we were seated near other diners, the atmosphere was lovely and the food incredible. A very relaxing evening, exactly what we needed. All the dishes were delicious, but we saw other customers ordering profiteroles and couldn't resist—absolutely amazing! We will definitely return; you won't regret it. This is one of the oldest family-run restaurants in Cannes. We stayed in Cannes for a week and searched for this restaurant every day; I always want to return. This restaurant was recommended by a local, and it's the best restaurant in Cannes—that's for sure! The wine selection, the food, the staff, and the restaurant's location are incredible! I highly recommend it 🩷 Vesuvio is a true Cannes institution. You can't miss this iconic address, known to both locals and visitors. The food is generous, efficient, and predictable, with a menu that delivers in a lively, typically Cannes atmosphere. The service is professional despite the frequent crowds. A legendary spot, ideal for soaking up the Cannes atmosphere and sharing a great time, whether with friends, family, or as a couple.

04/09/2026: It was our first time at Vesuvio, and our last… The welcome was nonexistent; it's the first time we've ever seen anything like it on the Croisette. We entered the first part of the restaurant, and we were rudely ushered out, told it wasn't the "right entrance." We went to the indicated entrance, but no one greeted us. After waiting a few minutes, we decided to venture further inside. We arrived at the bar. When we mentioned we had a reservation, one of the bartenders practically laughed in our faces. We were initially seated at a table right by the window, facing people eating outside. We asked to move, and the man sighed as if we were bothering him. For the price, you can find better elsewhere. On the other hand, our second waiter (the young guy from Antibes ^^) was very professional and improved things considerably. However, we won't be returning.

03/09/2026: Food was good except for our Pizza order. We were a group of 8 and two of our group did not receive their pizza on time. It was after everyone finished his meal. Their excuses was there is no communication between the main kitchen and pizza one. The place is over rated.

07/09/2026: We went there for dinner and received a very friendly welcome. We were seated at a table for two, just the two of us. Everything was great until the hostess suddenly seated a couple we didn't know at our table. It was fairly busy, but there were several empty tables next to us – admittedly, they were larger tables, but they remained unoccupied until just before we left. It felt really strange sitting at the same table with two strangers. This somewhat spoiled our visit – the couple couldn't have done anything wrong, but they could have at least asked if it was okay with us… this is absolutely not the norm, and no other table in the entire restaurant was simply "shared" like that. I wouldn't have complained if the tables could have been pushed apart, but it was a single, solid tabletop. Nevertheless, the food was really delicious. I would recommend it for that, but the overall experience was unfortunately rather disappointing.

16/08/2026: The restaurant was disappointing. The head waiter's behavior was terrible. The food wasn't tasty. But there were a lot of people there. That's what we were buying. My husband is allergic to shrimp, so he mentioned it. The waiter spent a lot of our time explaining that all the dishes had traces of shrimp in them. We were left with very few options. Either we all leave, or he's not having dinner. The owner came over with another waitress to figure out why we couldn't order food for everyone. And, of course, it turned out they did have dishes without shrimp. Undercooked seafood pasta is a particular oddity in Italian cuisine. It was, so to speak, tu mach al dente, or simply undercooked. The dough just stuck to my teeth. It was inedible. My child only ate the seafood. The head waiter, again, with the utmost disrespect, insisted that it was excellent pasta and that the chef couldn't make mistakes. However, without trying it and stuffing your teeth with this raw dough, it's impossible to understand... Naturally, we received neither a deduction nor an apology. The only tasty thing was the grilled squid with vegetables, and even the vegetables were absolutely terrible. I don't recommend it at all. The bill was 140 euros for a four-course meal.

Unfortunately, the overall experience is seriously undermined by the work of the administration ire manéger Ekaterina . The administrator’s manner of communication is unprofessional, at times condescending, and completely inconsistent with the level the club claims to represent. Instead of creating a welcoming and respectful atmosphere, the tone used creates discomfort and tension. For a club of this standing, the administrator is the face of the establishment. In this case, that face is unfortunately a reputational liability rather than an asset. This approach is a disgrace to a club with such ambitions. It is disappointing, as with competent and respectful administration, the club could leave a genuinely positive impression.
