14/01/2024: Bad service. We ask for drinks for three people and the lady who is supposed to take our order listens to us then tells us that she has to do something else. Other people arrive and she takes their order, there is clearly favoritism even though there were almost no people there. A little disappointed with this place we asked for cake and the lady told us that it was not the right day! Tuesday you can but the next day no. This is completely stupid. Despite this bad experience, I leave a 2nd star because the hot chocolate was really excellent

26/03/2024: I went to this place with my partner because I thought it was very nice. When we went to pay we suffered very xenophobic comments from the waiter (a man with glasses) while he laughed at us claiming that we Spaniards don't have money. All this for wanting to pay by card... He has refused to speak to us in English or any other language, because according to him, being in France we are the ones who should speak it. We have left in the most polite way possible, but I write this comment in Spanish and let it take life to understand it.

14/03/2024: 14/3/24 still so enthusiastic. I diaper there once a week. A pleasure to go there for the taste and kindness😘 ------ From year to year my comment remains the same. Thank you for being here ! Patricia Small coffees or hot chocolate almost daily. Sometimes the dish of the day is always excellent. But ABOVE ALL, great kindness from the owners in an original, clean and warm decor. A small corner reserved for the sale of cigarettes, good wines and some regional products. And the icing on the cake: a half-shaded, half-sunny terrace at the top of the Denis Papin steps overlooking the roofs of the old town, and in the background the castle, in the historic district of Blois. Good choice of varied beers to enjoy on the terrace in fine weather. Patricia and Patrice.

11/05/2024: It is not normal that they make you pay for a cheesecake with ham when we ask if it was a vegetarian product. I honestly don't think it's the employees' fault, and we ended up paying for the cake that we weren't going to eat, simply so as not to make a scandal and in the end one of them would pay for it out of her salary or have repercussions with her boss. P.s.: the spinach pie that we ordered afterwards was not very good, it was very compact.

11/05/2024: Place where they make you pay for their mistakes... In the window full of quiches and a single sign (I specify since the cards were added later). I ask if one of the pies contains meat, the saleswoman tells me no so I take this pie. Once served, I cut and discovered that there was ham (one more clarification, of course I did not eat it, I absolutely did not consume it). The waitress, very friendly, reacted with professionalism and offered to change the quiche, apologizing. Then, she comes back right after explaining to me that I cut the quiche so I have to pay for it. Where are we? How would I have seen the meat without cutting the quiche?! I am not trying to incriminate the waitress, who in my opinion reacted well. In my opinion, his boss must have refused to change the quiche and asked him to make us pay for it. A truly lamentable attitude, I am full of customers and employees.
