01/06/2026: We stopped at Le Point Bar on May 21st after visiting Les Machines de l'île, which unfortunately had already closed at 5:00 PM. The bar is in a lively area: lots of young people outside enjoying beers, spritzes, and cocktails, and the great atmosphere encouraged us to go in. We took the opportunity to escape the afternoon heat and ordered a couple of perfectly poured pints. The music was just right—lively but not too loud for conversation—and the service was very attentive. An ideal place to take a break after Les Machines or to start your night out on the island. Highly recommended.

23/05/2026: Fantastic find! The tapas are excellent, as are the charcuterie boards, the wine recommendations are great, and the service is superb. The little garden out back is perfect for summer evenings. Go without hesitation!

08/06/2026: I love this restaurant - where the seafood arrives fresh daily, direct from Brest. Great food and the atmosphere is rather different: you order crab and you're handed a wooden hammier, tied into a bib and encouraged to get properly stuck into Breton crab, langoustines or prawns and oysters. I had the half crab with 6 oysters - beautiful. Bread is absolutely delicious and it all comes with a range of homemade mayonnaises also with Tabasco and herbs - plus served with a pot of potatoes, kept warm while you get tuck in. Problem hammering your crab? The staff are fun and help you if bashing isn't quite your thing but I encourage you to give it a go - so do they as they show you how it's done. Don't come if you're too sensitive to hammer bashing noises, although even still, it's easy to talk. Great value for money.

18/04/2026: A very good, well-prepared lunch. A brasserie-style menu with an original set menu, "Le Bouillon," at €19. Friendly welcome and service. Large bay windows overlooking the Erdre river or outdoor seating. A place worth discovering.

05/05/2026: Every time we go, we have a fantastic evening at this bar. The tapas are amazing, the platters are perfect for a group outing, and the portions are just right (they have large and small sizes). The sangria is very good, and there's a good selection of drinks at reasonable prices. The best part: the staff are super friendly! We'll definitely be back!

30/04/2026: A really great bar! We came from Toulouse for a concert with our band in Nantes. The bartender was very friendly and the waitress absolutely lovely! We received a great description of the beers, the service was impeccable, and there was a really good atmosphere both inside and on the terrace!

10/07/2025: I was impressed by the dynamism and creativity of the Lieu Unique. It boasts superb exhibitions and a friendly atmosphere. A pleasant café, a fascinating industrial building, and numerous cultural events. A great way to spend a few hours in Nantes.
