27/03/2024: Quite divine! A refined dressing through a combination of shapes, textures and colors suggesting a very poetic universe. A totally mastered balance of flavors between land and sea that knows how to surprise us but above all delight us. Very pleasant and very professional staff. Obviously special mention and lasting memory of the wonderful pistachio soufflé and dacquoise which becomes my new madeleine. And what a setting!

Les plats sont copieux et très bon, pour preuve il ne restait rien dans nos assiettes. The menu was carefully though of and is seafood-heavy (which I consider a plus!). Each plate was a work of art, with vibrant colors and textures that promised—and delivered—exceptional taste. The ambiance of Pickles is just as noteworthy. Its modern interior creates a perfect backdrop for a meal that feels both sophisticated and relaxed. What impressed me most was the price point. This place serves Michelin-level food and service without the air of snobbery. The staff were amazing and added to the experience with their warmth and professionalism, making us feel well looked after throughout our entire dining experience. Pickles is a must-visit in Nantes for anyone looking to enjoy innovative dining in a welcoming environment. An absolute degustation experience that leaves you eager to return back for more.

16/03/2024: Nothing to complain about, from service to plate. A short menu but sufficient to offer enough choice, affordable prices, quality on the plate (from content to form). An excellent time and a great address! We will come back !

05/04/2024: Everything was very good and refined. However…. A few things to improve: - children's menu impossible to take if you are going to eat with 1 or 3 children since the children's menu is made up of an adult menu but divided by 2. So... how to do with only one child? Moreover, certain dishes on the menu are indivisible depending on the server… Flavors can also be very acidic or almost spicy. For children I don't find the card very suitable. it is better not to have a children's menu on the menu. It’s easier for everyone and there are no surprises. - It took us 1 hour 45 minutes to enter and leave. Not great but not bad. It all depends on whether you plan to go with children or adults. - bread is very rationed. Perhaps the cook considers that bread should not accompany his dishes. - the seats are not great but are acceptable. - the table… a little disconnected from the content. If you are looking to create signature cuisine... put a small tablecloth on the table to match the sweetness of the dishes. - if you go as a couple you will have fun. It's worth the detour but I don't find the restaurant suitable for going with family. Damage….

13/03/2024: Small charming restaurant very well located in the heart of Nantes. I had taken an express formula which includes mussels, fries and a drink. It was indeed express since the molds arrived one minute after my order. So clearly the mussels are precooked and you can feel it when eating them because the flesh is hard and dry. Additionally, the broth was very salty. But the excellent service made up for this more than average dining experience
