In conclusion, this is a truly exceptional restaurant that showcases local produce while reinterpreting it in a culinary style—highly recommended.
05/08/2026: This gourmet restaurant is located in a charming corner of Beaugency. The first impression is good (setting, decor, welcome). The cuisine is inventive.
The downsides: all the main courses arrived lukewarm.
The red wine ordered at the beginning of the meal (Chinon) arrived at 24 degrees Celsius! I pointed this out to the head waitress, who tried to justify it. This is not the expected behavior in a gourmet restaurant.
The Champagne ordered as an aperitif should have been served in glasses in front of the customers. The canapés accompanying the Champagne arrived when the Champagne was almost finished.
I regret that the chef didn't come to the dining room. I hope these comments help you improve.

07/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! A friendly brasserie with a warm welcome, homemade family-style cooking, and generous portions. The value for money is excellent. A simple and authentic place where you feel right at home. Thank you to the staff for their kindness; we will gladly return and recommend it.
04/08/2026: Very good, I forgot to take photos, but the portions were very generous. The menu changes daily, with a buffet for starters, three choices of main courses, cheese if you want, and a dessert buffet with plenty of options. You can call in the morning to get the menu. Parking is a bit of a hassle, but it's worth stopping by. I recommend it.

A house cocktail made with violets, as beautiful as it was delicious.
A lamb shank so tender it barely needed a knife, presented with an appetizing flair.
And to finish, a pavlova with a light and airy pistachio cream and a red berry coulis, the perfect ending to this wonderful meal.
The waitress was dedicated, highly professional, and always had a smile on her face!
Thank you to the kitchen for these delicious dishes and to the staff for a truly delightful experience despite the intense heat.

02/08/2026: We ordered several different dishes, including pizzas, salads, pasta, and desserts, all reasonably priced and very tasty.
However, we waited 30 minutes before our order was taken, and another 30 to 45 minutes to be served; we had to ask for bread and water during the meal. Add to that another 30 minutes before our dessert order was taken (which we had to ask for twice!). And then there were a few other issues: we never received the extra parmesan, and we weren't offered a tasting of the white wine beforehand (the bottle was placed on the table open and without ice). In short, a poor quality service, to be avoided if you're on a tight schedule.
Another negative point: the restrooms are behind the kitchen (not a problem in itself), but the two cooks were shouting at each other, and we felt like we were intruding when we went in. I wanted to compliment them on their food, but I refrained given the atmosphere.
29/07/2026: Pizza and pasta restaurant, good food, decent portions,reasonably priced set in a pretty square. Only critism needed more seasoning and garlic on the pasta.

27/09/2024: A beautiful historic building and it's great that it is being well looked after and maintained. We had a very spacious and well appointed toom reached by the large staircase. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. This was our third stay at the hotel and the Rotisserie was available this time and it was excellent.
25/09/2024: We expected more from the comfort of the room. A little expensive for what we got. Needs a good refresh. On the other hand, the meal was delicious.
