18/07/2026: Having been regulars at the restaurant for some time now, we went to Burgers de Papa to satisfy an early evening craving and were welcomed—or rather, treated—by the best employee ever (Achille). He agreed to serve us a burger that was no longer on the menu (breaded chicken, jalapeños, and hot sauce) and offered us desserts. I ordered fries with melted cheddar cheese, which were perfectly cooked. The vanilla milkshake (not pictured) was also very good. Please give this man a bonus! I will definitely be back! PS: This review was written entirely spontaneously by the restaurant and the employee in question, as I simply wanted to highlight the excellent service we received.

17/06/2026: Uber Eats order on June 17th Unfortunately, I had the unpleasant surprise of finding a hair in my burger… Zero assistance from Uber, the burger obviously ended up in the trash

10/07/2026: While passing through downtown Angers, I stopped at Le Fournil du Pilori to buy some bread. 🥖😊 The bread was delicious, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. A pleasant visit; I highly recommend it! ✨

23/06/2025: This restaurant perfectly combines the pleasures of taste and sight. From the dishes to the decor, it's a feast for the eyes and the palate. A true gem. Moreover, the owner's welcome is warm and it's a pleasure to chat with such friendly people. And to top it all off, when it's time to leave, the "pain" has never been so aptly named, as the bill is surprisingly light.

09/07/2026: Guillaume has transformed the Bar du Lycée into a true community hub, a must-visit spot where everyone mingles in a friendly atmosphere. You immediately feel at home thanks to the warm welcome and the warm, family-like ambiance that makes all the difference. It's a place where people love to meet up, share a drink, and have a great time. Well done, Guillaume!

10/05/2026: Aggressive manager: a complete lack of business acumen. As a local customer, I am outraged by the treatment I received today. Despite having made purchases in the shop, the manager verbally attacked me about my use of the terrace, even though I was about to leave after speaking with the waitress. A business owner should strive to retain their neighbors rather than drive them away. I will not be returning.

09/07/2026: Gaël and the Chef certainly know how to welcome guests... simple but delicious and varied dishes, a great place for lunch and beyond... Plus, it's air-conditioned, which is handy these days.

01/04/2026: If you're ever in Angers, a stop at Gaël's place in Le Ronceray is a must. Gaël is the kind of bistro owner we love: authentic, generous, and always ready with a joke. People come as much for the atmosphere as for the food. It's a place where life is good, there's banter, laughter... and it feels great. Speaking of food, there's nothing to complain about: fresh, delicious, and genuine. Well-prepared ingredients, no frills, but bursting with flavor. And what about the wines? Always the perfect accompaniment, with excellent bottles to enjoy. Le Ronceray is more than just a restaurant; it's a true social hub. The food is great, the drinks are great, and above all, you have a fantastic time. Thank you, Gaël, for your warm welcome and good humor—don't change a thing!

05/07/2026: A truly unique and charming place. From the moment you enter, you appreciate the hygiene measures, including hand sanitizer, which immediately puts you at ease. The cat café offers homemade sweet and savory treats at excellent value. The cookies are generous, and the tiramisu is light and delicious. As for drinks, everything is refreshingly cold, and there's a wide selection: iced tea, flavored lemonade, iced coffee lattes, juices… something to please everyone. The cats are adorable; most are very approachable and easy to pet. The children especially loved it; it's a truly enjoyable family experience. The café isn't air-conditioned, but numerous fans ensure good air circulation. And most importantly for a cat café, there are no unpleasant odors, which is a real plus.

And on top of that, the owner is lovely, very kind, and always smiling. A real pleasure every time I go. I highly recommend this pastry shop.

Nicknamed "The Sugar Genius" in the upper echelons of pastry, Laurent Petit has been delighting us for many years with unwavering consistency and brilliance... everything from the shop to the welcome (masterfully handled by his "Sweet Bomb," Corinne...) the products (the best flan I know) and the value for money... originality and diversity... it's flawless for Maison Petit... A huge congratulations and more, more, more...!!!!!!!!

26/06/2026: The first time we tried the pizza and pasta last night, it was a real treat! The restaurant is impeccably clean, and the gentleman who served me was super nice. We will definitely be back!

11/06/2026: Best pizzeria in Angers, excellent recipes, cooked in a wood-fired oven (which gives them a truly smoky flavor), generous portions. I come here twice a month and I've never been disappointed. The Norwegian pizzas actually have salmon, not just three slices fighting over the edge. The prices are affordable, much better than their competitors.

12/07/2026: A very decent hotel, but be aware that room prices vary considerably depending on the activity in Angers! The service is excellent, as is the quality of the food. It's a shame the starter and dessert buffets are gone; I really liked that old format. Air-conditioned rooms and a large free parking lot next door!

09/06/2026: This bakery is smaller than the other Ange bakeries in Angers. There seems to be slightly less hoox (a type of pastry) and the reception area is smaller. But otherwise, they are very welcoming.

06/06/2026: Dirty table, too many staff, not one person to clean or clear the tables; they preferred to chat amongst themselves. Customers had to clear and clean their own tables before they could sit down. Shameful.
