Pierre and Adelaide's philosophy has given this grocery store a human touch, with its anti-waste approach, less packaging, and short supply chains, all in a neighborhood that's otherwise lacking in appeal! Well done!

30/04/2026: Nice place, good variety of beers, and reasonable prices with happy hour. Nice music. However, the Guinness is sometimes poorly served, and some (but not all) servers are rather cold, even haughty. A shame.

26/02/2026: I was assaulted this evening by a waitress with inappropriate behavior. A long-time regular at this bar, I am very disappointed by the attitude of this "supernanny" who came to harass me while I was on the phone with a friend who had just lost his sister. The waitress rushed over like a fury to remove my chair, claiming that people didn't sit on that side of the terrace. I confess my fear and dismay. What a fine display of humanity!

27/01/2026: This was my first time visiting this training restaurant since it opened at the Angers wholesale market. It was an excellent experience; we were served by very friendly and well-supervised catering students. They deserve our encouragement, because what they're doing is truly outstanding.

05/11/2025: A very pleasant lunch and a wonderful discovery of a welcoming place. The menu was a hit with everyone (generous portions, beautifully presented), and the staff were charming and discreet. I highly recommend this restaurant, which showcases young talent in a wonderful way.

25/10/2025: A very bad experience at this crêperie, a mountain pancake (which was only in name), loaded with potatoes, very little bacon, and we were looking for cheese all evening... With a big spoonful of cream on top and a very soft pancake... No taste!! With a server who runs around everywhere and doesn't follow the order of arrival of customers... We were taking our little girl, a very ruined evening at La Boudeuse! I won't say see you soon.

20/10/2025: Galettes and crepes are a bit light on the filling. The taste is good, but a little butter wouldn't hurt to make it less dry. Regarding hygiene, the server went to put more hand towels in the toilet, dropped the key in the trash, went rummaging through the trash to retrieve the key, then went to the kitchen to get the two plates for the next table. Right in front of me! Without even washing his hands! It's a good thing I was finished eating!

23/05/2026: If you're looking for exceptional oysters and equally exceptional fish, then come. It's fantastic. Direct from Brittany. They could improve the selection of wines by the glass, but it's still very good.

23/04/2026: Always an exceptional meal at the bistro's fishmonger. They only use top-quality products, and it shows throughout the menu. For a little treat, the spaghetti with blue lobster is one of their dishes that often comes to mind. The desserts, especially the lime tart, are also excellent. The €26 set menu is very good too.

07/12/2025: We arrived at 10:30 PM and were told it was closed, even though it said 11 PM and that if we didn't have a car, we could go to the drive-thru. So, they can cook for the drive-thru but not for the dine-in area. Find the mistake, pffft.

30/11/2025: The review will be salty like Serrano ham (Johan). This is my third time at this McDonald's, and I always have the same feeling: I'm being ripped off! How is it possible to take 20 minutes to prepare an order but still manage to forget the pickles in a cheeseburger, serve dry, cold fries, and not melt the cheese? I also find it fascinating that they charge for every extra as if you were in a restaurant. The only positive point was the toy, which, unlike usual, was actually quite fun and entertaining, much better than the childish books and building blocks that actively contribute to deforestation. If you want to avoid hurting your bank account and your conscience, run away!

13/06/2026: We booked in May 2026 for my wife's birthday on August 29th, 2026, using a gift box. We received a call and then an email confirming the reservation. And suddenly, without explanation, we just received a message informing us that, according to their calendar, they are canceling our reservation. Friends tried to book on August 29th and there were no problems... This is not very professional, and certainly not good customer service.

09/06/2026: I booked a table at this restaurant a month ago using a Wonderbox voucher. They cancelled my reservation without any explanation. Just a message saying it was cancelled, and it's impossible to reach them by phone; my number must be blocked. I advise against going to this restaurant. Unprofessional behavior.

11/04/2026: Cool, but the staff wasn't very welcoming in my opinion; we felt like we were intruding in the bar even though we were the only ones there. Aside from that, good selection of drinks and a nice place.

15/01/2026: J'ai récemment visité La P'tite Ardoise avec un groupe de 6 personnes. Malheureusement, notre expérience a été entachée par un incident particulier et le comportement du serveur, ce qui nous a poussés à prendre la décision de partir. Lorsque nous nous sommes installés à notre table, j'ai placé ma trottinette électrique sur le côté pour des raisons pratiques. Cependant, le serveur a malheureusement trébuché sur celle-ci, ce qui a provoqué un malaise. Au lieu de s'excuser ou de prendre la responsabilité de l'incident, le serveur a réagi de manière peu professionnelle en me forçant à déplacer ma trottinette ailleurs. En tant que client, je m'attendais à une certaine compréhension et courtoisie de la part du personnel du restaurant. Cependant, le comportement du serveur a créé une atmosphère inconfortable et a donné l'impression que j'étais le seul responsable de l'incident, alors qu'il aurait dû être plus prudent lors de ses déplacements. Face à cette situation, notre groupe a pris la décision de quitter le restaurant. Nous étions déçus de la façon dont l'incident a été géré et du manque de professionnalisme du personnel. En tant que client, j'estime qu'il est essentiel de se sentir respecté et bien accueilli dans un établissement, et malheureusement, cette expérience ne répondait pas à ces attentes. J'espère sincèrement que cette critique permettra au restaurant de prendre conscience de cet incident et d'améliorer son service à l'avenir. Je conseille à l'établissement d'adopter une approche plus attentionnée envers ses clients et de veiller à ce que les incidents soient gérés de manière professionnelle et respectueuse.

14/02/2026: We just ordered a seafood platter. The price quoted on the phone was €27.00 per person, but the price we paid when we picked up the platter was €29.00 per person. One crab: small and inedible. Whelks... small and tasteless, just like the langoustines. Four clams that we couldn't open... We are deeply disappointed because Le Vivier has never treated us to such a disaster! Thankfully, the homemade mayonnaise was there!! Absolutely no point... just regretting the money!!!

17/05/2026: This place has unfortunately become very, very unpleasant. The bouncers are often aggressive, speak rudely to customers, and shout at the slightest thing. This place was once a true institution for Angers nightlife, but the security staff's attitude now completely ruins the atmosphere. You barely set foot on the terrace before being told off for supposedly blocking the way. At 1:20 a.m., the lights come back on, and at 1:30 a.m., customers are rather abruptly ushered out. It's a real shame to see such an iconic establishment decline so much in terms of customer service.

09/05/2026: Very good pub, great atmosphere and lovely terrace. However, it's a shame that, despite being a Paix Dieu ambassador bar, they don't serve it (they serve Kastel Triple instead).

15/05/2026: A meeting place on Saturdays after the market, with an aperitif featuring market produce. Sunny terrace and friendly atmosphere.

06/05/2026: A small, neighborhood brasserie, just the kind you'd love. The food is good, so why three stars? The reason lies in the service, which spoils the experience. Indeed, apart from one waiter (a tall one) who is polite, friendly, and pleasant, the rest of the staff makes you want to go somewhere else. The only saving grace for this establishment is that it's the only café/restaurant in the area.

15/05/2026: Absolutely top-notch, one of the best in my opinion, top-notch team! Very good when it's busy, it's best to call 20 to 30 minutes in advance, otherwise you'll wait too long lol. They're victims of their own success. lol
