30/03/2024: We had reserved a table for two people, welcoming staff upon our arrival, a meal far from our expectations, a plate prepared in advance with dried beet puree, a skewer of scallops, sorry scallops with a tasteless taste , a table service absolutely not up to the standard of a restaurant service, the service is done by passing in front of you……
An exorbitant price for what we ate, an establishment to avoid, an establishment that I call a tourist trap, so for those who take the time to read our opinion, spend a few minutes also reading other opinions……. Do a scoring……You will know what to expect.
We can criticize fast food but let's be clear about this type of establishment.

No terminal works after 5 attempts, forced to order at the counter, 30 minutes to be served, cold food... if you don't know how to work properly change jobs and above all close the store you ruin your reputation, you already have few customers you are not even making an effort to improve things… incompetent to the end

02/04/2024: Came in for a fish and chips after checking out the menu online , it was the worst plate of burnt food I have ever been served, with the smallest piece of fish covered in rock hard burnt batter. Avoid the disappointment, give this place a skip.
02/04/2024: The only restaurant in Cherbourg where it is impossible to have shallot vinegar to eat oysters! Incomprehensible?
Otherwise, they make excellent breakfasts. .

05/04/2024: Fantastic food in a lovely setting. We stayed in the Aire and stumbled into this absolute gem. The Camerbet sauce is gorgeous.
04/04/2024: The place was great, we didn't visit other places in the area but we went to this one thanks to a suggestion from a local person.
The food was very good and excellent service.

05/04/2024: A moment that will remain magical for life. Thanks to the extraordinary place And largely thanks to the simply incredible staff. In particular Matthieu and Allan who have their hands on their hearts. People even more admirable than the place... that’s saying something!
05/04/2024: The place is perfect, I would say the view of Mont Saint Martin is 75% of the price as the rest was a disaster. I have never experienced service that was so disorganized. 4 star restaurant is more like a canteen. Neither tablecloth nor proper napkins.

29/03/2024: Seriously..!! While we already have to check the drive-thru bags because we are always afraid that something will be missing, but now we will have to open the sandwiches??? 10 balls a Big tasty 2 meats even though there is only one inside!! The operation is profitable!!!
Frankly, you are misusing it. I would like to eat what I ordered and especially paid for!!
29/03/2024: More than 15 minutes of waiting for a mini order, forgetting sauces, no napkin and this is not the first time!!!!

21/03/2024: Have a nice evening. A good welcome. A worthy hostess, good room management. Friendliness and kindness. We were well received and the food was excellent. I recommend the fish soup. A seafood platter worthy of the name. Satisfied with our evening, I recommend. Would not change a thing. Bravo (and yet I am difficult and critical). Good value for money.
21/03/2024: Le Phare is an excellent restaurant where we were welcomed by the very kind restaurateur. The dishes chosen delighted us with their freshness, the quantity offered and the originality. Absolutely recommended.

04/04/2024: Good surprise when returning from a walk on the Nez de Jobourg cliffs. Friendly welcome even though we had not booked.
Beyond the menu, a reasonably priced menu is offered with interesting choice possibilities and elaborate cuisine.
We enjoyed “the initiative of the moment” that day, the pan-fried scallops and their garnish. Excellent!
For desserts, there are again interesting proposals that are different from what we are used to finding elsewhere.
Friendly service and not devoid of humor, all in a great outdoor café.
