05/02/2026: So I recommend it 100%! First of all, everything was fresh and delicious.
Secondly, the welcome was incredibly warm. The gentleman was so attentive, which was really appreciated.
So without hesitation, I'll definitely go back. I have nothing to add except that everything was perfect.

02/02/2026: A friend had booked this restaurant three weeks in advance for 12 people, and on the day, when we called on the way home, they hadn't taken our reservation and had cancelled it without warning. Shameful! Luckily, there was another Lebanese restaurant in Les Cardeurs that was able to accommodate us at 8:30 pm!

14/02/2026: My partner and I came to eat the day before Valentine's Day, and we had a wonderful meal! The staff was attentive, the decor was elegant, and above all, the food was truly delicious. To top it all off, there was a good selection of wines to choose from. Finally, the bill was reasonably priced. I highly recommend this establishment.
13/02/2026: A truly wonderful discovery! Being celiac, finding restaurants can be a real challenge, but here at L'Archevêché, everything is much simpler. The servers are attentive, kind, professional, and knowledgeable (thank you to you all, and especially to Enzo who served us and was fantastic throughout the evening). They offer gluten-free bread and are careful to avoid cross-contamination (this was all the more possible given the limited number of covers that evening). The chef is very talented; I've never had such a tender beef fillet, and they were able to adapt the sauces so I could still enjoy my meal.
We will definitely be back; the quality was evident both in the food and the service.

25/01/2026: I wanted to thank the entire team again for accommodating our group of 11 at the last minute on a Saturday night.
You saved my birthday! The welcome was fantastic, the service was amazing (especially with all our individual requests), they were outstanding from start to finish. The food was delicious.
The atmosphere was great. A lovely touch was the dessert served with a candle.
Thank you so much, it was flawless, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. A very good restaurant, I highly recommend it!

09/10/2025: A warm hug in a meal, must try in Aixe if your tired of the bistro and want to go on a culinary journey
03/10/2025: We tried the lamb and prune tajine which was amazing, the lamb was fall off the bone tender and the sauce was thick and tasty, the perfect combination of sweet and sour. We then came back for the chicken and preserved lemon tajine which was delicious. Cous cous and harira soup also very nice.
3 of our 4 meals in Aix were eaten here. I only wish I lived here so I could get it every week. Wholeheartedly recommend and the chefs/owners are really chill and nice.

30/12/2025: A very pleasant lunch at Brasserie du Château. The restaurant has a beautiful and very unique decor. The meal was refined and well-prepared. A bistronomic restaurant that I highly recommend.

03/02/2026: This is the fifth time we've had lunch at Mongador, which is usually excellent. But this time we were very disappointed.
The meat was cold, and the plate was nothing but bones. The vegetables—carrots and turnips—were few and far between.
In short, a huge disappointment for such a high price.

09/12/2025: The waitress was perfect.
As for the food, the lamb mechoui was very good; however, the kebab had too much fat and too many spices. Even though it was labeled harissa, it would have been better to add the spice icon next to the dish.
However, after a brief complaint, we were served a new meat dish without spices or fat, free of charge. So it was great, thank you very much.
05/12/2025: Worst restaurant I've ever eaten at. Everything is fried, including the risotto. Everything is frozen and greasy, and the price doesn't reflect the mediocre quality at all.

28/01/2026: We ordered harira soup, chicken tagine, chicken and couscous, and a stew that was more of a vegetable dish. The price was 112 euros, which is a bit expensive compared to nearby restaurants (an Indian restaurant and a Syrian restaurant called Ali Baba). The harira soup was excellent. The rest of the food was good, not bad.
The service was a bit slow. The price is excessive, in my opinion.
18/01/2026: WET FLOORS
We booked and were told we would be seated in the “heated outdoor tent”. Fine. It was a rainy day. The floors of the tent were actually wet and the tent was not heated at all. No place to put our coats and no place, but the wet floor, for my partner to put her bag. As if that wasn’t bad enough, after directing us to our seats the waiter disappeared for 5 minutes at which point he only dropped off the menus and promptly disappeared again. Never asked us if we would like something to drink. 15 minutes later he returned apparently ready to take our orders. I complained that we had been waiting too long. The waiter was polite and apologized. He then sent over his supervisor who defended himself saying that they were “victims of their own success”. At that point I’d had enough. I can’t comment on the food but the service and atmosphere were awful.

28/01/2026: We ate as a group of 16. We took turns paying, and there were four Cokes included. We paid for our Cokes, and at the end, he insisted that two were missing, even though we had all paid (receipts to prove it). We had paid €350 for the meal, and to be shortchanged over two Cokes seems very unfair. Be careful when paying if you come in a large group, or make him cross it off on his paper receipt.

The employees aren't in the usual sober state for Aix-en-Provence...But their moods shouldn't be managed by the customers...
Not clean, lack of hygiene...you don't want to eat...INCOMPETENT STAFF, AVOID AT ALL COSTS

My experience of the day and the following:
When we entered your store, I had to deal with hostesses who were joking among themselves and who did not know how to answer my questions about the contents of the sandwiches.
Once I made my choice, the hostess dropped the sandwiches on the ground in their packaging and immediately charged me for them without asking the question of hygiene and without any embarrassment.
It seems to me that before being the ambassadors of taste it would be better to be the ambassador of the good trader.
The price of your formulas and the care you put in makes your brand a brand of service and greatly devalued by the behavior of your employees.
Too bad you lose a customer.
Be careful, hygiene is important in a business where food is prepared.
I can't even imagine what's going on behind the scenes when we see this type of behavior in front of customers.

10/09/2024: Le menu du déjeuner est une véritable affaire. Pour 35€ il est proposé une entrée (originale, très équilibrée), un plat (très copieux avec des saveurs très intéressantes) et un dessert original pas trop sucré.

Met deze beoordeling richt ik mij graag rechtstreeks tot u. Wij hebben vandaag geluncht en het moet mij van het hart dat ondanks het voortreffelijke wij toch niet zo hebben genoten als de andere jaren. Mogelijk was de bediening van streek of had een groot deel slecht geslapen. De bediening was, op een persoon na, onbeschoft, niet attent en zeer ongastvrij. Dit zijn wij niet van jullie gewend.
Wij gunnen de volgende gasten meer plezier en hopen dat de bediening snapt dat je bijvoorbeeld niet de glazen bij het drinkgedeelte vasthoudt, niet voorlangs uitserveert en zeker ook zorgt dat er wijn is voordat het voorgerecht wordt geserveerd en niet als dat op is. Als wij ze daar op attenderen, voelen ze zich beledigd. Dat lijkt mij de wereld op zijn kop. De bediening kan altijd een fout maken, maar biedt dan excuses aan en zorgt voor een prima gastvrijheid.

15/08/2024: From the entrance it announces the color.... We are made to feel that paying by credit card did not suit them... Network problem then later in the evening no more TPE so only in cash if we wanted something at the bar .
In terms of food, I found it expensive for what we ate... A tomato mozza (tasteless mozzarella)
A skewer of lemon chicken accompanied by rice... Dry chicken (a sauce would have been welcome.) and a timballe of rice that was too dry as well. (the rice was crispy) dessert a macaroon with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and a red fruit coulis.... Also without much flavor. Anyway, fortunately we had a good laugh because the meal will not leave a memorable memory.
