17/06/2026: We celebrated my partner’s birthday at L’Archevêché recently and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff were the most attentive I have ever come across, they really made the evening feel special. The food was exquisite too. Highly, highly recommend for a celebration, you won’t be disappointed.

04/06/2026: Returning to Côté Cour after three positive experiences. This fourth visit was more mixed. A small amuse-bouche to share between four people, without plates to put our crumbly bread on. The aperitif orders were taken late (the amuse-bouche was dry). The starters arrived before the aperitifs were finished. Self-service wine. The prawns for the starter were very small (more like large shrimp than prawns). In general, the portions for both the starter and the main course were small, but the desserts were generous. Overall, a fairly positive experience, but a step down from the previous ones, mainly due to a lack of attention to detail (serving the aperitif quickly – I'm repeating myself – and offering a wine tasting).

From the moment you arrive, the place captivates with its elegant and tranquil setting, where every detail seems carefully considered. But beyond the ambiance, it's on the plate that the magic truly happens. The cuisine is exquisitely refined, perfectly executed, with beautifully presented ingredients and inspired, harmonious flavor combinations. You can feel the genuine passion behind each dish, a quest for balance and creativity that deserves to be celebrated. It's the kind of experience that leaves a lasting impression, that makes you want to linger and savor every bite. A huge congratulations to the chef and the entire team for this exceptional moment. A truly precious address that I wholeheartedly recommend.

29/04/2026: I've been coming here for over 20 years with my children and it's always a pleasure. Firstly, because you're never as warmly welcomed as in this restaurant, and secondly, because the food is excellent and it's a sure bet in Aix!

26/04/2026: A disaster. Frankly, it was awful, overcooked, and very expensive for what it was (24 euros for a plate of four mezze, including three falafels as hard as wood). The wine by the glass was frankly terrible. A very bad experience, I won't be repeating it.

24/05/2026: On our last visit to Aix-en-Provence, we happened to walk past Riad. Since we'd already been to Morocco and really enjoy the cuisine there, we were delighted to find Riad. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The food was presented without any care, the meat was fatty, everything was cut far too large, and the meat was so tough it was almost impossible to cut. It was also barely seasoned and had little to do with Moroccan cuisine as we know it from Morocco itself. The menu had also seen better days—worn, greasy, and dirty. We sat outside in a tent, no one offered to hang up our coats, and the service was rather slow and not particularly welcoming. In short—don't be fooled by the awards on the door. We have no idea who awarded them. In our opinion, they are unjustified. Unless you want to eat a lot for relatively little money, then this is the place for you. We value quality over quantity when it comes to food.

23/05/2026: A very good restaurant, nice decor, very welcoming and warm staff (especially for a birthday like mine), the food is delicious. I recommend it!
