21/09/2024: Lunch, a great menu with a good rosé beaume. A very good time with a beautiful view, very pleasant waitresses and a masterful foie gras.. I recommend 👌

09/01/2026: Simply EXCELLENT!!!!! Everything was perfect, from the welcome to the couscous, to the tea served by the owner at the end of the meal. As a loyal customer, I always return with pleasure to enjoy a delicious homemade couscous... a pure delight. I highly recommend it.

28/12/2025: Fourth visit! Christophe and the team are very friendly! Superb couscous and tagines… the lamb kebabs and lamb chops were cooked to perfection, and the semolina grains were just right! Mint tea 👍 That angry Jack… should treat himself to Pigonnet in Aix… if he can afford it! They're mediocre and shouldn't get to you… See you very soon, in any case. Laurent. Seminars of Character

05/07/2025: We used to come to dinner at the Tavern but tonight what a disappointment!!! I didn't know that the tsatsiki was served in coarse pieces of cucumber, the Greek salad lukewarm, and the large mezze plate, strong doubts about the "homemade", in view of the waitress's comments "we didn't have any left this lunchtime but I'll see if they've bought some more" about the feta pastries!!! The bread, let's not even talk about it, dry and dry, and all that for a bill that's way too expensive. A wasted dinner. The only positive point, the speed of service, at 10 it helps 😀

28/05/2025: The moussaka was delicious, the service friendly, but very slow, so be prepared. The atmosphere here is that of the square, as the restaurant's terrace is the one on Place de Carmes, where it is located.

31/07/2025: A true journey to the Maghreb, to Morocco, right in the heart of Avignon! A warm welcome, attentive service, and above all... incredible couscous! The flavors are authentic, the portions generous, and everything is homemade, from the fragrant broth to the bread and pastries. Special mention goes to the royal Moroccan couscous, a Moroccan and Tunisian specialty, and the mint tea served with a smile. You can feel the passion in every plate. Thank you to the entire team for this shared experience. A place not to be missed!

29/07/2025: If I could have given 0 I would have given 0 Inedible food service to be reviewed The waitress says every 2 seconds that she is tired the downstairs toilets are very dirty Afterwards they tell us to go up the stairs very dangerous impassable for people with reduced mobility on the tables mail business shoes a bike right in the middle an electric scooter mannequins dismembered Nego cigarette everywhere Only tourist trap No beer available Bacon burger without bacon (which isn't even really bacon), fries supposedly homemade when they are frozen fries, frozen minced steak, goat cheese pizza honey without honey. And on the boxed queen mushroom pizza. And to finish all this is very expensive for what it is.

26/11/2024: This oriental restaurant is a real gem! As soon as you enter, you are transported by a warm atmosphere and a typical decoration that takes you on a journey. The dishes are a delight: the authentic flavors, the perfectly measured spices, and the careful presentation make each bite a real pleasure. Special mention for the couscous and tagines, absolutely exquisite! The service is impeccable, with attentive, smiling staff always ready to advise. An address that I highly recommend for a gourmet and exotic moment. Well done to the whole team!

10/11/2024: Sans connaître la carte, j'espérais en réservant trouver un choix de mezzes comme alternative à un couscous ou un tajine, hélas deux choix seulement, probablement pas de clientèle assez éduquée pour apprécier salades Marocaines, briouates et autres délices. Et j'ai entendu d'autres clients exprimer le même souhait devant le menu, coïncidence ? Sinon mon couscous était assez quelconque, trop peu assaisonné et la semoule vraiment pas assez beurrée. Par contre portion très généreuse et bcp de légumes. La patronne est absolument adorable, rien que pour elle on y retournera 🤭

28/12/2024: Very small restaurant, with a very friendly welcome and delicious food. What more could you ask for. We had lunch there after our visit to the ancient theater.

20/08/2024: It is a very good hotel the breakfast is ok with many choices except a few things which should be there for a 4 star hotel, it lacks a hammam or sauna or jacuzzi, the interior of the breakfast building does not is not very clean with lots of marks on the windows.. to see again..
