12/05/2026: You can't please them all, and I am one of the displeased. Coming from San Diego, California, I know what Mexican food is supposed to taste like. My burrito al pastor was mostly beans and rice, and very little meat in the onion sauce. Nothing seemed fresh or imaginative. Only the picante hot sauces saved the experience. The unsmiling waiter forgot to bring my drink, so I canceled and just had plain water. I skipped dessert and just got out as quickly as possible. They need a makeover in today's standards of preparation and positive service. There's lots of competition out there.

23/08/2026: A family visit to Toulouse. We followed a recommendation found on a blog and ventured off the busy streets to reach this Mexican restaurant near the canal. We absolutely loved it: a charming welcome, even for our dog, an enticing menu, and very reasonably priced set menus. And what a feast! Everything was fresh and homemade (tacos, enchiladas, fragrant fillings, simmered like at home, and delicious, and red beans... everything was excellent). And the desserts were original and delectable. We truly enjoyed ourselves. The cook, a Mexican woman, came to chat with us at the end of the meal. She was so kind; she brought water for our dog, and we chatted for a bit. We really had a wonderful time! And thank you for your hospitality!

23/08/2026: Nice Mexican restaurant. There were five of us. I had a Chile en Nogada dish, originally from the city of Puebla. Original but good. A must-try! €20 for the dish. The margarita was good (with crushed ice). €53 for a pitcher for four. The waiter, Chilango, was friendly. I recommend this restaurant. Prices are reasonable for the neighborhood.

22/08/2026: I'm counting calories, and an app led me here after scanning my plate. The cocktail, with its salty rim, fit my daily budget and was tasty. The dining room is simple. The service is quick.

24/07/2026: A truly wonderful Mexican interlude. The place is authentic and colorful, the welcome and service professional and friendly. And finally, the food is absolutely delicious. I rediscovered the atmosphere that had enchanted me throughout Mexico. And, importantly for me, all the gluten-free options allowed me to enjoy myself without any restrictions. 27/08/2026: I ate here today, August 27th, finishing around 13h30. The meal and service during the lunch itself were fine, and we paid our bill in full and walked out. Less than a minute after leaving, I realized I needed to use the restroom, so I walked right back inside. I did the polite thing: I approached a female staff member at the front and asked permission to use the facilities. She kindly pointed me in the right direction. However, when I came back upstairs to leave, the male waiter who had just served our table and taken our payment less than two minutes prior blocked me. He aggressively demanded in English that "next time be polite and ask," repeating it multiple times in a highly confrontational, rude tone. I remained entirely calm and asked him what he meant, but he continued his unprovoked tantrum, completely failing to recognize a customer who had just paid him. The most telling part of this interaction was that his own female coworker was standing right there, actively telling him to "stop" and asking him what he was doing. She smiled and validated me as I left. It is completely unacceptable for a server to treat paying customers with such immediate hostility and amnesia the second money changes hands. To the female staff member who tried to stop him: thank you for your professionalism. To the management: check your shift logs for 13h30 today. Your male waiter is an absolute liability to your business.

24/08/2026: We've been to this place for aperitivo a couple of times: the first time we ordered a 1.5-liter XXL cocktail to share (fantastic, balanced, and without tons of useless ice), but we added chicken quesadillas by listing them on the menu, resulting in some misunderstandings, and a salad arrived (I think it was a chicken fajita Boule, definitely not what we wanted)... and oh well... to avoid any problems, we let it slide, but on the receipt, the mistake was there, double the price... and oh well... among other things, while we were paying, someone inside was throwing glasses on the floor behind the bar... and oh well... the next time we ordered the XXL cocktail again, we found 3/4 of it was ice and mint, and there was very little left to drink; the cocktail was generally watered down... 🤔 Too bad...

08/06/2026: The soy sauce and ravioli have a unique flavor. It's been a must-try on every trip to Paris for the past four years.

03/06/2026: I had the pork and noodle wonton soup; the wontons were delicious, but the broth was a bit bland, which is a shame since it makes up 75% of the dish.

30/08/2026: I want to commend young "Lara," a very kind and charming waitress with a delightful touch of mischief. It's a pleasure to see someone who knows her stuff! She's not afraid to speak her mind and knows how to make customers feel welcome. I'll be back.

30/08/2026: I recommend this Indiana; the quality-to-price ratio is good, and the Angus was quite good. What really made the difference...our two young waitresses (on the evening of August 27th, 2026) were fantastic! They were responsive and smiling all evening.

26/08/2026: We had the lengua, birria, and carnitas tacos, and all of them were delicious and nicely seasoned. I was also happy to find horchata on the menu! The guacamole portion was generous and great for sharing.

06/09/2026: I'm quite skeptical: I don't really understand the hype surrounding this place. I was very disappointed and felt it wasn't worth the price. On the other hand, the service was very pleasant and professional. The place was very noisy.

06/07/2026: The staff are really friendly, the outdoor setting is very pleasant, with a misting system in the summer. The chili con carne was excellent. I'll definitely go back for the welcome, the setting, and the food—to each their own. Just Ben's pizza, which shouldn't exist.

29/06/2026: Passing through the area on the recommendation of our guesthouse for a takeaway order (12 pizzas)... What can I say, what a welcome! Excellent shopkeepers 🍻 and excellent restaurateurs 🍕 Highly recommended!!
