From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the warmth and kindness of the staff. The service was professional, attentive, and friendly, creating a welcoming and authentic atmosphere. The cuisine is simply remarkable. The dishes are prepared with great finesse, showcasing fresh, local produce. 03/03/2026: I ordered takeout: four pork spring rolls and shrimp stir-fried noodles. The spring rolls weren't crispy. The noodles were overcooked, had no shrimp, and tasted awfully oily; I had to throw them away. I'm very disappointed.

21/12/2025: Dining at Jean Michel Couron's restaurant is an experience not to be missed. The dishes are exquisitely refined, the pairings of spices and wine are perfectly balanced. We go there every year for our anniversary and we are never disappointed. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the decor chic and elegant without being obsequious. A must-try.

The dishes were excellent: fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The restaurant has a pleasant and friendly atmosphere, ideal for enjoying a lovely time with a small group. 04/01/2026: Okay, sorry, but I'm going to give it two stars. The first star because you can't start from scratch, and the second, which is the only good point, is that they at least said hello. After that notable event, it was like stepping into another dimension. The atmosphere was quite austere, a bit "uncomfortable" in this bar/restaurant. We were there, but we didn't exist! We waited patiently standing to order, but no one bothered to acknowledge us or even glance at us, for what seemed like an eternity. So we turned around and left. Perhaps our faces didn't deserve to boost their profits. We resigned ourselves to it, feeling ignored. Well, I don't blame them, it's just a shame to be in business when you clearly don't understand the basics. And maybe they simply don't need customers; besides, it didn't look like there was a rush of people coming in for a Saturday night. So we went to Lord's, and it was honestly great. I'd give them a solid 5/5 for their hospitality and service; they clearly know how to treat their customers. You should take note.

02/01/2026: A very warm welcome, the owner was very attentive, the atmosphere and setting were lovely, the wines were excellent, the charcuterie board was superb, and the meal was homemade with quality ingredients! We had a wonderful evening and will definitely be back.

09/01/2026: While passing through Nevers, I discovered this charming restaurant with its delicious and inventive cuisine, elegant presentation, impeccable service, and reasonable prices (they even offer a set menu on a chalkboard in the evening, something increasingly rare in restaurants for dinner). In short, a highly recommended address that truly does justice to French gastronomy!

27/11/2025: I just took a workshop with Elodie to make a Yule log, a gift for my 70th birthday. It was fascinating and very informative. Elodie guided us throughout the morning, and the result exceeded my expectations. Treat yourself; I highly recommend it.

23/02/2026: This was my first time back since the change of ownership, and I wasn't disappointed! The kebab meat is still excellent, by far the best in Nevers. The marinated chicken is also very good. The portions are generous; it's impossible to leave hungry! And to top it all off, the service is impeccable; you're greeted and served with a smile. The best kebab in Nevers!
