30/03/2024: A delight ! Very warm welcome in an estaminet setting. Divine Flemish stew and equally excellent American fillet. Served generously and quickly. Room a bit small and noisy when there are people, but it's difficult to push the walls :-) We've been here several times already and it's our favorite restaurant. You can go there with your eyes closed. Remember to book!
22/03/2024: La Vieille Assiette is exactly everything an estaminet should be. The dishes are really excellent (we tasted the welsh, the chti burger, the carbonnade, the Marengo veal, the pork cheek) and were unanimously appreciated by the table. The welcome and service are friendly and pleasant, and the decor is typical without being "too much". We feel really good: at home if we come from the region, and welcomed if we discover it.
We leave in a good mood and with a full stomach.
Thank you, we will come back, for sure!
Edit: We've come back plenty of times and we'll come back again.

04/04/2024: The 3 dishes of the Menu Gourmand were truly delicious. Both traditional and creative, tasty, generous and beautifully presented. Special mention for the “Rhubarb Variation” dessert which is rarely found on a menu. Smiling and fast staff. Several different rooms, pleasant and bright surroundings. A good address.

The room is very small, remember to book if you want to eat there
09/03/2024: Forget sushi and grab an okonomiyaki at Moshi Moshi! We tried pork and it was so good. We also had their fried skewers, delicious. Several other dishes on the slate, vegetarians welcome. Very pleasant staff. Let's start again!

07/05/2024: Very nice experience at Ardent. The restaurant is located in a forest, very calm and relaxing.
The very friendly staff offered us an aperitif in front of a fireplace... top notch!
The dishes, around the theme of the forest, were all as surprising as each other (and good incidentally!)
Visit from the chef at the end of the meal who comes to present the final surprise and ensure that everyone has had a good meal.

04/04/2024: We had a great time and enjoyed the tasty food.
I took the vegan plate: all the vegetables were well cooked and seasoned. My partner had the veggie burger: the steak was good but lacked texture and consistency. Having come several times, I would say that we find a lot of the same flavors in most of the dishes. On the other hand, very good homemade desserts. In conclusion, it is a very good VG address, where we find the atmosphere of Belgian and Flemish taverns.

Great value for money. Pleasant atmosphere and service, the dishes are well cooked.
Good choice of wine.
On the other hand -1 star for certain quantities, order a duck breast and not half a duck breast, 3 pieces served, really a shame, you might as well say half or a third of a breast...

03/04/2024: We booked with thefork, and it is 50% off on everything except menu and drinks, and we did not get the discount on desserts. The portions are small but they are very good. Unfortunately we won't be coming back, because 10€ for frozen desserts, especially without the not great discount!

04/05/2024: Ordered: hamburger with meat cooked to perfection, served with hyper (from hyper) cooked cooking, the cook must have fallen asleep in the kitchen!
I made the comment to the waitress (very pleasant) who replied that he was stressed (there were only eight customers in the restaurant…)
In short, it was better before.
However, I will obviously repeat the experience and will not miss a future mention hoping for 'better' (but 'better' should pose no problem!..)

I'm vegetarian and it's always a treat to have choice, there are even vegan options!
01/04/2024: Good experience, interesting address to combine business with pleasure. Coffee/coworking taken in the morning then lunch just before taking the Tgv. Tasty dishes. Yummm
