06/04/2024: Dear friend, we cannot call ourselves a gourmet Without opening the door to History a little. A dish is missing from our taste buds The royal hare, from Lent the gentleman. A chipiron fricassee worthy of bistronomists, The scented terrine, they know how to welcome us, Stuffed piquillos, the taste is commendable, The only downside is that there are three of them and the chef is economical. Then comes the animal, the purpose of our visit It is melting as can be, its flesh is disintegrating, The filling is sparse, the taste is imperial. The stomach is not full, long live the dessert, An exquisite tourtiere with sweet native flavors, A light millefeuille with centuries-old charm. As an insider says: at Bascou “we don’t just eat hare à la royale, we eat 5 centuries of history”

28/03/2024: It is hard to describe the food level. If you want to enjoy high end food, this is the place. We had great food and service thanks guys.

25/03/2024: Taken to go, one evening between two deliveroos. Quick to prepare, friendly, this little restaurant makes delicious bentos, with a vegetarian option. Possibility of drinking Kirin beer without alcohol. Very pleasant flavors, the ginger is very well dosed!

04/04/2024: Very friendly staff, very very good coffee and matcha tea, and delicious dishes! What more can be said ? :)

19/03/2024: Small tea room, grocery store and lunch meals. No reservations and few tables for a drink. There is a larger space for coworking though. Chai latte for €5 which was good and a few desserts to accompany the drink. I only tasted the drink! You order at the counter and are served at your table. Friendly and fast service.

23/03/2024: I usually eat at this restaurant, the staff is generally friendly. Recently I ordered couscous and one meat was missing. A few minutes later, the waiter arrives with my meat. Since there was an extra meatball, the waiter decided to take the plate back from the table and said to me "we went to the wrong table, we'll come back with YOUR meatball". I found it limiting to take the plate from the table for an extra dumpling. I don't know if he gave this same plate to the "good table" or if he went to the kitchen with it but I found it average

18/02/2024: Super cozy atmosphere especially in the warmly decorated back room. Good value for money for this restaurant a little away from the pressure of Les Halles and where everything is made on site.

05/04/2024: I come here and usually it’s great. Today I came during my lunch break. It took 28 minutes wait for my order to be ready. I was late to work. And then almost right after I ate I started to feel very sick in my stomach. Like throwing up. I had the poulet caramel banh mi.

05/04/2024: A very pleasant setting where the smell of grilled meat awakens your senses. Beautiful area.

05/04/2024: A rustic place where you share tables. Superbly grilled steaks, great cote de boeuf for two and excellent duck breast. Good foie gras and snails as starters, but do not forget the perfectly aged cheese!

31/03/2024: Great atmosphere and gluten-free food. NOT SAFE FOR COELIACS, staff said that the kitchen was small, there was cross contamination, and it wasn't safe for people with allergies or coeliac disease. GF pancakes are fried on the same stove as normal ones.

03/04/2024: I only went there once, commuting between Brussels and Paris, I was looking for a quiet place to be able to work peacefully. The welcome is great, the coffees (unlimited!) are DELICIOUS and all for a very affordable price. I'll go back, it's a real gem :-) My only regret: having only stayed there a few hours!

04/04/2024: Mixed by the experience which was not horrible but not necessarily great either. First of all, we came around 4 p.m. on a Friday and after we were outside it took a long time for the waiter to notice us. After giving us the card and although there weren't many people there at the time, he took another 15 minutes to come and ask us what we wanted and so on. The happy hour menu is very restrictive, their homemade lemonade is quite fragrant and not very sweet, the charcuterie board itself is good but what a disappointment to see all the salad hidden underneath. A short moment before telling us that what we had chosen for dessert was not available, the crème brûlée is good but nothing more. Furthermore, the toilets are not practical given where they are positioned but they were relatively clean. The place is certainly charming and rather well positioned but it's not necessarily a bar/brasserie to which I want to return.

02/04/2024: Maître de l'hotel was obviously on a night off from Fouquets - a level of service and poise you would not expect in such an intimate, family friendly, yet adult setting. A gentle hum of relaxed indistinguishable conversations filled the 'room' and the children around us very much picked up on the vibe. Happy tired faces left the bistro, whilst we enjoyed our food and the house red - which was a little better than it ought to have been. A very very pleasant way to end the day. Merci a tous!

05/04/2024: We had a lovely meal at Cafe des Musees-delicious food, attentive team service, cozy atmosphere. We had one order of escargots in mushrooms, two orders of beef bourguigon, two glasses of Cote du Rhône and two coffees and our bill came to 88 euros which we felt was terrific value. The serving of beef bourguignon was enormous and could probably feed two moderate eaters! We recommend and would return.

21/03/2024: Very nice restaurant, chill music and friendly waitresses! The dishes are tasty, I would just have preferred seasonal radishes instead of the bland tomatoes in the salad... I will come back!
