05/04/2024: The best place around that’s as easy go to if in a hurry or unsure about other places being open. But especially so because of the top notch service staff and boss! I accidentally left my bag there with very valuable jewellery and paperwork and got it back untouched! So rare to come across honest people, I truly appreciate them as we are often in Calais for work! Thankyou Thankyou once again!

04/05/2024: Under a beautiful storm while waiting to board the dragon, refusal to go to the toilet, kindly requested, because the toilets in front of the restaurant were occupied by young people!!!!! What good manners... I will never set foot there again, even to eat there....

10/03/2024: Very warm welcome, we arrived when the kitchen closed at 2 p.m., despite this we were very well received. The dishes are good and plentiful, the place is nice, the service top.

09/03/2024: Wonderful restaurant with flavors of the Maghreb, warm welcome and we ate a delicious and fine 3-meat couscous and very hearty meal. I recommend Marrakech and you can go there with your eyes closed because you will not be disappointed. Very fair price.

27/11/2023: Beautiful establishment where you immediately feel good with breathtaking decorations depending on the seasons. The staff takes great care, in addition to being extremely responsive. The burgers were delicious and the portion of fries was well stocked. I recommend for a good, pleasant meal accompanied or not.

06/04/2024: Tourist restaurant with a strange smell when you enter. The boss barks at her employees in front of customers to make them go faster. The dishes ordered (tuna ceviche, tuna heart, salmon tartare and salmon steak) were far too salty, as if in the kitchen they dropped the salt shaker on the plate. As for dessert, the tarte tatin was burnt and very small. Positive point about the fast service and friendly servers. Ultimately the bill will have been as expensive as the dishes. The value for money is not good at all, too expensive for what it is. In short, to avoid.

28/03/2024: Simply exceptional, the welcome at the top with careful service and very good advice, I had the opportunity to have the chicken fillet with chorizo, I mentioned it with the owner because I have never ate such a tender fillet, my wife had the salmon steak as well. Thank you to the entire team in the dining room and in the kitchen and to the owner who took the time to explain to us how the chicken is cooked. Very very nice address See you soon…

06/05/2024: The overall experience was good. We came for the sea food and Brasserie de la Mer offered a good variety from starters to mains. We ordered 3 Amiral menus with selections of seafood bouillon, salmon terrine and salmon tartare with avocado. All are lovely in tastes and beautifully presented. The bouillon has a touch of Asia with flavorful curry. For the mains, we had grilled seabass, salmon in Thai sauce strongly flavored with fish sauce and too salty for my taste, and juicy flank steak. Desserts are on the sweet side. Kid's meal could do better with additional portion of vegetables and should include a drink at the charged price. Service was overall quick and staffs were friendly and nice. Except for one welcoming waitress, rather disrespectful but that did not affect our evening and the overall service and food quality deserved our full stars.
