02/04/2024: Great address in St Jean de Luz! We ate very well there (the chipirons were delicious), at a very reasonable price and the service was really great 😊
02/04/2024: Terrible. We made the mistake of eating later than usual in the area and could only find a table here. They boast of Spanish food and can find paella, gazpacho, tripe and even torrija on the menu. The disastrous paella, from school, totally stale and with hardly any flavor. The shameful grilled fish, two pieces of fish, a prawn (not two, being two people) and some tiny, tasteless mussels. And to top it off, very expensive. We paid €120 for two people ordering a drink of sparkling water and a beer, without dessert or coffee. One of those times when you feel absolutely cheated. The only good thing was the service, the waiters were friendly and fast.

03/04/2024: Ate today at lunchtime, oysters then scallops. With the oysters there was only a terrible sweet vinaigrette, no shallot vinegar like everywhere. Exactly 4 hours after the meal all vomited up, I don't know if it's the oysters or the scallops. In short, never again this disaster.

30/03/2024: The food was good but unfortunately the service was terrible. You don't feel like you're in France but rather in the United States: the servers insist on each dish pushing for overconsumption, in such a repetitive way that you end up completely bored. We insist that you have cocktails and one dessert per person. Even for the carafe of water we insist that you take sparkling water instead. The worst, they lie to you to make you pay more: we ordered a cider and we are served a bottle of wine which is more expensive. Poor service that ruins the evening.

The children's menu is also very delicious, homemade and super good value for money with dessert!! The only thing I don't like is the bullfighting decoration😵💫 otherwise recommendable! 👍 we will repeat!

Very good food and a smiling and pleasant waiter
01/04/2024: Very disappointed. We took 2 menus at 22€. Starter 2 tiny piquillos and slices of serrano ditto not even a little butter with it. Also the bread was not good. As a main course, the lomo was really not great and the fries were not good and like the starter you don't have to be very hungry. Minimal quantities. The Basque cake was not homemade. The server not very friendly.

05/04/2024: I recommend this establishment not far from the large beach for its welcome and the kindness of the staff, its delicious pizzas made with fresh produce (for me the best on the Basque coast) and its very good Tiramisu. It was a discovery for us and we will come back with great pleasure because the menu hides many other delicacies.
