05/04/2024: I have visited this “restaurant” several times. My opinion until then was rather mixed from highs to lows but never really disappointed. Brief... 3 of us went there this week and took the special Easter menu for €39. So let's talk about the service I think that for employees, smiling is an expensive option. The starter was a kind of rubbery octopus capaccio with a kind of totally inedible fruit salad. The dish is a lamb shank of incomparable hardness. And the pompom, a dessert called du jour by the waitress (which must have had a good week in the fridge), a kind of chocolate sponge with a disgusting yellowish cream. In short with such an establishment it is totally incomprehensible to serve this kind of meal so tempt that we can call it that. I wouldn't go back there again nor would my colleagues and really don't recommend it. TO RUN AWAY

04/04/2024: Run away !!!!!!! The restaurant is simply to be avoided. Attracted by the menu and the Easter menu, we said to ourselves that freshness would be in order, at least that’s what it suggested. Starter: octopus carpaccio. The first dish arrived with a hair on the plate. The second was an industrial version of a compressed octopus. Dish: lamb shank with polenta. The mouse was clearly undercooked, give or take a few hours, and the polenta was liquid, worthy of a failed mash. Dessert: a sort of chocolate cake, but which seemed to have been forgotten in the fridge for days. In short, this is clearly a place to avoid.

30/03/2024: Very disappointed with our meal, the dishes are very spicy (a lot of pepper, the catastrophic tartare with too much mustard) and not fresh, the potatoes are raw, the brains of the canuts are a simple seasoned white cheese, in short to avoid

30/03/2024: Very good experience at Cintra, we ate well and the service was very pleasant. However, when booking the meal, we had to deal with Julien who was unprecedentedly arrogant, he looks down on customers, uses very inappropriate irony bordering on disrespect. We are in business and are stunned to see a professional so condescending to customers. It is very unfortunate for the image of the restaurant to entrust the task of reservations to such a person. Fortunately we don't stop at first impressions!!! Thank you all the same for this experience at Cintra, we will come back without going through the telephone reservation this time…

05/04/2024: For the really low price for the set, I really did not set my expectations up high. I would like to say that the food was below average, but considering the price it's somewhat reasonable, I guess. However, since we just ate at a nice French restaurant the day before (admittedly where a main dish costs more than the cheapest set menu here, I was somehow felt a bit let down after this place. But it's probably more of my fault! Anyways, we ordered two sets and were unable to finish anything given. The onion soup tasted sour with too many pieces of bread in it. The steak was below what you'd find at Asian street markets. The best part about the duck (?) was the dauphinoise potatoes below it, which was probably the best made thing here. The profiteroles were dried ones from the supermarket (I guess deep down I naively thought they would be freshly made), and likewise with the ice cream which had a very cheap texture and flavor. It's a classic case of getting what you paid for. If you do decide to eat here, go for the more expensive set menus or something a la carte. The stuff I see on other tables seem to be much more dignified. For the restaurant, perhaps they could get rid of the lowest-end set menu? Also, the lady who seemed to be the manager seemed very... sad? :( the waiters were all very kind though!

05/04/2024: It’s the ultimate tourist trap The front of the restaurant catches the eye But once installed inside we are quickly disappointed Even if the service is continuous when we arrive at 2 p.m. we feel that we are disturbing Setting up the table is done in a hurry As for the dishes, a real disappointment Duo of hot goat's cheese, a mountain of salad for 3 poor puff pastries, cold and not good at all I tried it I will never go back there

04/04/2024: Generally we love vapiano, having visited in 4 countries. We were so excited to see a vapiano in Lyon, because we would know what we were getting. The food, as always, was great, and the location was amazing. However, the place inside felt run down. The seats were torn, the basil was wilted, and the place was generally dirty. Nothing worse than walking into a restaurant and the previous diners leftovers are crusting up in their abandoned bowls. The toilets were exceptionally dirty and the sink tap was broken- I’m sure the staff have somewhere else to wash their hands, but it doesn’t fill you with confidence about the hygiene! Come on vapiano, we know you can do better than this. This place has great potential!

03/04/2024: First experience in this restaurant. The unique menu is simple and effective, very well done. We had profiteroles, the portion of which was generous enough for 3 people. The service is provided by smiling and good-natured employees, which is worth highlighting these days. VERY GOOD mention in particular to the young waiter Murat, extremely attentive, great eye for detail, polite and refined, and who has absolutely nothing to envy of his colleagues in starred restaurants. Well done. We will come back.

04/04/2024: I booked thinking I would have a great evening in this restaurant which ended in disaster because I had an allergy I stipulated in the email before coming to the restaurant because they asked for it my allergies which were not taken into account once I arrived at the restaurant they asked me again so I stipulated I am allergic to peanuts, sesame, almonds, hazelnuts… We start the meal, several people ask us the same questions The sommelier who tells me it has more flavor I can't describe the aromas to you I am served bread with sesame seeds so I say I am allergic The person apologizes I do not say anything The dishes arrive, the snails and scallops are overcooked, the flavors are not there, in short the cuisine is disappointing I don't understand the star Then dessert arrives, they inverted the pots and I ate a biscuit made from I don't know what which created an allergy, I'm starting to feel bad I stipulate it and in fact the person with me at the table did not have a biscuit, they made a mistake and since it was hidden I did not suspect it In short, the allergy arrives, the waitress tells me sorry, I'm going to get the manager She doesn't arrive, 5 minutes pass I can't wait I say too bad let's go to the counter to collect our things so that I can go and get my medicine in the car The manager arrives and apologizes then just offers me my meal so I paid for my drinks and my guest's dish and as a bonus I ended up with an allergy or I'll spare you the details but I could have died from it … I do not recommend the food is not good and the staff is incompetent Having to repeat your allergies three times and being served them twice is serious Especially for the price. Besides, I learned on site that we could no longer have the 6 courses from 9 p.m. even though this was not stipulated anywhere.

05/04/2024: As much as the table service and servers are very helpful and very correct, I don't have the same to say about the cashier. I think that saying hello would already be a start of politeness when addressing someone who is your client. I came by paying part by restaurant ticket and part by credit card, the lady already told me not very kindly that the card only passes from 10€. I decide to pay the rest in cash but I realize that I didn't have them on me anymore so I had to pay by card despite the 10€ minimum. What was my surprise when this woman spoke to me really badly, almost even confused as if she were my mother. I don't mind being wrong but I think that education is not part of her learning either and that business is not for her.
