01/06/2026: ⭐ Overall rating: 7.5/10 A great find! This African restaurant in Lyon was a wonderful discovery. I had a lovely time and, most importantly, a delicious meal. The portions were generous, flavorful, and carefully prepared. Special mention goes to the chicken: perfectly cooked, tender, juicy, and, most importantly, not dry, which is often a weak point in this type of dish. The side dishes were also excellent, with well-balanced flavors. A minor drawback was the sweet potato fries, which were unavailable during my visit. Apparently, they had been out of stock for several days. This is a bit of a shame, as they are often a popular side dish, and sweet potatoes are generally quite easy to find. As for the ambiance, the terrace is perfect for enjoying the nice weather, which is very pleasant. However, it has limited seating and opens directly onto the street. Inside, the space is adequate, but it was quite warm during my visit, with noticeable cooking smells. Air conditioning or better ventilation would significantly improve customer comfort. The service also deserves a mention. The woman single-handedly manages the kitchen, reception, service, and payments. Despite this heavy workload, she remains cheerful and does her best to satisfy customers. This can sometimes lead to a slight wait, but it's understandable. 16/08/2026: A really cool spot for its warehouse vibe, but very poorly managed and understaffed (for example, last night they organized a party with hundreds of people and they have a beach bar with only five beer taps, resulting in endless queues: it takes over 30 minutes to order a drink). In addition to the bar, the food ordering system is a nightmare (ordering at an online kiosk, no cash payment: a never-ending hassle). It'll be better with the next owner, but for now, it's pure amateurism!

23/08/2026: Sunday evening, a difficult customer was generously served handfuls of grated cheese. When it was my turn after this customer, and after an interminable wait, my colleague sprinkled a few grams of cheese on me with her fingernail. I pointed out the difference in treatment, and I was given a second, measly pinch. Pathetic. I had dinner in the dining room before 9:30 pm, and the staff started putting chairs on the tables even though I clearly hadn't finished eating. The atmosphere was dusty and unpleasant. A dreadful restaurant.

19/06/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've finally found a bakery that makes truly high-quality pizzas! Every time I order, I'm delighted. The dough is exceptional, and you can immediately tell it's made by a real baker. The ingredients are generous, flavorful, and of very high quality. Each pizza is made with care and passion, and you can taste it in every bite. The flavor combinations are perfectly balanced, the taste is incredible, and the portions are generous. I'm never disappointed when I order from them. A huge congratulations to the whole team for your hard work and expertise. For me, these are simply some of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. I highly recommend them!

11/05/2026: Excellent bakery with delicious, easily digestible, and perfectly baked bread... I especially love the traditional baguette with its wonderfully crispy crust. You'll receive a very warm welcome, always with a smile and genuine kindness.

30/07/2026: The staff were extremely rude. They claimed they had stopped serving five minutes earlier, but then continued serving other customers. We were the only ones turned away, and we believe it was because we didn’t speak French. This was a very disappointing experience, and we did not feel welcome.

20/07/2026: By family tradition, I used to stop by Rue des Archers in Lyon to buy quenelles and a Rosette sausage. Two weeks ago, I bought a Rosette, but I was very disappointed. I don't know if it's just a temporary issue, but the shop is well-refrigerated, or if there's been a change in quality. I won't be stopping there again because the saying about Reynon being good was wrong, but not this time... The fat and the Rosette had a rancid taste... and there was too much fat. The pepper must be too expensive now.

03/02/2026: It all started with a birthday gift from the Confluence shopping center. I decided to try the Vapiano restaurant. What a treat! I received a very warm welcome (from the blue-eyed waiter); He didn't hesitate to suggest a different dish than the one I had chosen—kudos for his professionalism! The restaurant's atmosphere is superb, with great background music. I really want to thank him for his kind gesture at the end of my meal, which made the experience truly special. I highly recommend it!

01/02/2026: An extremely disappointing experience on every level. The food arrived barely lukewarm: undercooked pasta, bland, tasteless pizzas. There was no skill in the kitchen, and no enjoyment in eating. The service was incomprehensibly slow, especially since the restaurant requires ordering via QR code and payment before being served, ostensibly to save time. Given the poor quality of the meal, one wonders if this system isn't simply a way to avoid complaints or prevent customers from leaving without paying. Drinks are advertised as available on the app, but then suddenly become unavailable once the order is placed. For children, the syrup cups were sticky and served without any care. As for family-friendly options, it was a complete failure: all the tables were high, but the high chairs weren't the right height, making the meal uncomfortable and unsafe. And only three high chairs for a full restaurant speaks volumes about the consideration given to families. The desserts are just like everything else: tasteless, poorly executed, and underwhelming. To top it all off, the value for money is simply shameful considering the service offered. This establishment is poorly managed and disorganized, with no regard for quality or customer comfort. It's an address that charges a premium for a mediocre experience and is clearly not worth the trip.
