27/06/2026: Keep walking! Fresh salmon tagliatelle... a teaspoon of salmon placed in the center of the plate and that's it. A nauseating fishy sauce that doesn't smell of fresh salmon at all. I complained politely... the response: these are tagliatelle with salmon sauce. Oh really! That's not what's on the menu. I pointed this out and informed "Nona Lisa" of my upcoming comments. Nona's aggressive response: "I've been working for forty years, you're not going to ruin my life." Change jobs (it's too late) or quit altogether!!! It's not free!!!

05/07/2026: I come quite often 😊, always a warm welcome, honestly, everything is clean upstairs too. I really like the lady who cleans the tables, she's very kind 👍 and it can't be easy for her, I noticed some snickering while I was there 😡 it's not cool, especially in 2026, but she's helpful and does her job well, so that's why I come often ☝️😊🌹

17/06/2026: Shame on this establishment. During a World Cup match, my friends and I stopped at this bar. Racist remarks were made, and the staff did absolutely nothing. Deeply shocked by this situation, my friends and I left the bar, outraged by what we had just heard. We then expressed our dissatisfaction to the manager, who seemed to be present. His response was that he couldn't do anything about this kind of behavior. Excuse me?! Isn't it precisely the role of a manager to ensure that all customers are treated with respect, to maintain a healthy environment, and to intervene in case of inappropriate behavior? His lack of reaction, as well as his accusatory tone, unfortunately gives the impression that he tolerates, or even defends, this type of attitude. Shame on this establishment, which, through its inaction, contributes to normalizing and fueling such behavior.

16/06/2026: Good evening, We thought we had found a welcoming bar, but what a surprise it was to discover an openly racist clientele and a manager who was completely passive in the face of our comments about the situation! After several racist insults, we decided to leave this bar, which was clearly full of reactionaries. We then decided to speak to the manager, who claimed he was powerless, even though he had the option of not tolerating the presence of this clientele. We will obviously not be coming back and we will not recommend this bar to anyone. Hoping that free spirits still exist.

30/06/2026: €25 for a set menu, €21 for a burger. I had already read the reviews before coming, and as many have said, it's not good at all.

29/06/2026: The service was a nightmare! The waitress who was supposed to work across the hall (same owner) did nothing but complain. Not a single bottle of water was placed on the table before a 20-minute wait (in the sweltering heat) – we had to ask her for it! Another waiter, full of manners, came to replace her, argued with the cooks, and made an unbelievable amount of noise clearing the tables… it was like a caricature of a sitcom.

12/07/2026: My son and his friends were turned away even though they had paid €20 per person for the reservations (there were six of them). It just goes to show how they make a living by ripping off young people. Well done to the bouncers!

11/07/2026: Honestly, very disappointed. I've been to Azar several times as a VIP, and the reputation doesn't lie—it's awful. Between minors being allowed in and the fact that I booked a VIP pass only to find it closed... It's a real disgrace; this place lives up to its reputation. Disappointed!

16/05/2026: Friendly welcome, mussels and fries a little dry

13/05/2026: A very bad experience at this restaurant on May 7th. There were four of us. After a long wait, our order was taken. After 15 minutes, we were told there was no salmon, and then another 15 minutes later, that there was no tuna for my seared tuna salad (a delivery problem). Unbelievable for a seafood restaurant! My son, who had ordered a medium-rare ribeye steak, ended up with a rare one that they had to recook for him. Unfortunately, considering the price (€25), the quality is lacking (my husband is a chef). In short, we were very disappointed and didn't even want to order dessert. We were kindly offered a plate of calamari for €7 as compensation for these inconveniences, while they charged me €17 for my Caesar salad (which normally costs €14 as a replacement for the seared tuna salad), hence a €5 discount. Truly magnanimous. The final blow was telling us they were permanently closing the restaurant at the end of the month: perhaps a good thing for this chain. Because currently, it's a disgrace for this brand, which we're used to frequenting in France.

20/07/2026: Beef pho large is very small. And the final bill is not what the menu states so it is misleading.

29/06/2026: This is the first time I've ever left such a negative review. The longest wait in France. I could have gone back to school to study gastronomy, opened my own restaurant, and made it all myself. Seriously.

16/07/2026: Great place for a quick breakfast or lunch in the heart of Lyon. The pastries are fresh, the sandwiches are delicious, and the coffee is excellent. The staff is friendly, efficient, and welcoming, even during busy hours. The restaurant is clean, well organized, and offers good value for money. A perfect stop on Rue de la République. Recommended.

07/07/2026: Plenty of space inside and a good selection for a quick lunch or snack! The service is good, but the place's popularity means it tends to be quite fast-paced, so be warned!

11/07/2026: I came on the morning of July 4th with a friend who didn't speak French, but the waitress was quite unpleasant and, in her words, "in a hurry." I left immediately. It's a shame they weren't more welcoming and patient with a foreigner who was kind and wanted to make an effort to take our order. It's a pity because the setting is nice, but the service definitely needs improvement.

07/06/2026: We did a quick session in Lyon: +: Spacious, well-ventilated, and bright gym. Some of the routes are great. -: The route selection really lacks variety (not many boulder problems without coordination or run and jump), the volumes are greasy/slippery, and above all, there are too many gaps between the colors (the purples are only good for warming up, and the reds are just too hard). It's a shame because otherwise, everything is just perfect.

28/05/2026: We had a wonderful meal in a beautiful setting! Superb welcome!! We'll definitely be back. I highly recommend it if you're ever in the area...a unique place...and the food was delicious. Thank you.

05/07/2026: We were group of 4. Even though half of the main floor was empty the rude receptionist decided to put us on the second floor. Up stairs is boiling hot, noisy with party groups. Never go there. We sit right. ext to the washroom. The food is nothing special. The ice tea is sub par nothing. compared to well know iced teas. Most of the items we chose were out of stock.
