10/03/2026: The meal was decent but the dining room was noisy, and to top it off, the owner was smoking a cigar inside.

19/05/2026: We went with a Groupon voucher. I ordered a beer with a small chip in the glass. See photo. Everything wasn't as advertised on the voucher. The main course was bland, the gratin a bit dry, there weren't many vegetables on the plate, and the chocolate mousse was hard! Not really a mousse! A bit expensive for two, even with the Groupon code. We were a little disappointed!

23/04/2026: I had lunch today, April 23, 2026, with my friend. Once again, we appreciated the warm welcome, the cleanliness, the excellent service, and the meal. Our choice of salmon puff pastry with sorrel sauce was very good. We will gladly return very soon. We highly recommend this place... and the price is very reasonable for the quality and service. Thank you and congratulations to the whole team.

05/03/2026: A very warm and friendly welcome. A very pleasant time with my family. I'm happy to share this meal with my family, who aren't familiar with Maison Pignol. For us, it was delicious; they'll be back. As for me, I've been a loyal customer of all Pignol shops for over 35 years now. The place is very clean and very pleasant. It's very difficult to leave without trying a pastry, especially the lemon tart—it's the best tart in Lyon.

20/05/2026: I was invited by a friend, and it was my first time at a restaurant in the islands. Everything was fine until my curry (whole prawns or large, round-backed, uncleaned shrimp) arrived at the table. In the islands, please, you clean shellfish! I gagged while cutting the shrimp in half to separate the vein from the back. It was very awkward, and I had to make sure my friend wasn't embarrassed. 08/12/2025: Tonight they refused to serve tea. If you don't order anything, the toilet is inaccessible. I've never seen anything like it! Shame on this shopkeeper. Hot chocolate was €3.80, not a drop of milk! There were two of us! I was barely allowed to sit down. I come from Franche-Comté; I'll remember the hospitality of Lyon.

11/05/2026: Excellent bakery with delicious, easily digestible, and perfectly baked bread... I especially love the traditional baguette with its wonderfully crispy crust. You'll receive a very warm welcome, always with a smile and genuine kindness.

24/01/2026: As a long-time loyal customer of this bakery, I'm unfortunately very disappointed since the change of ownership. The baguette, once excellent, lacks crispness, and the pastries seem less refined. It's truly regrettable because the service remains decent, but the value for money is no longer there. I hope adjustments will be made to bring it back to its previous level.

01/04/2026: The evenings offered a wide variety of music styles, showcasing many new collectives and amateur DJs. The atmosphere was very family-friendly. However, the bouncers were unfriendly. They definitely ruined the spirit of the place. People have stopped coming because the bouncers were completely out of touch with the venue's atmosphere.

29/05/2026: Salad did not taste good at all. Too many small flies over your food, it gives you a feeling the place is not clean. Chicken is cold and taste dry.

28/05/2026: I'm disappointed by the Liège chocolate… A very average scoop of ice cream, with whipped cream that tasted more like regular whipped cream! And at the exorbitant price of €13. Le Négociant isn't what it used to be, what a shame!
