22/03/2024: Entering the pastry shop it made me want it but when asking what the mille-feuille was the answer was given in an unpleasant tone as if my question was embarrassing contact customer to see again really not friendly I finally left without buying anything

28/03/2024: If the quality of the cuisine is important in judging an establishment, the welcome is just as important. And the welcome and friendliness at the bistro du boulevard is not the best! I have never been received like this... from the start the manager whispers in our face when he learns that we have not reserved. Moreover, I had never seen that asking for bread could be so horrifying for the manager: “pfff, well you finished your dishes right?!… Well ok! ". I remain shocked by such a reaction. So we ate our bread then went to have dessert opposite where the welcome was warm.
17/03/2024: It's a French-style café that we like to drink coffee before going to work or have an aperitif with friends after work or class.

19/09/2023: Very good restaurant! Really delicious dishes. I tasted the raw fish and the result was very satisfying: a beautiful color, fresh so no bad surprises! Very welcoming staff! I recommend.
And don't be fooled by the slightly outdated interior, it's worth it 👍

31/03/2024: It's meant to be a gourmet, it costs a lot, but it had no taste, the class of the waitress didn't change anything, it's a meal that I can make in 10 minutes at home, and with flavor. That will at least pay for the waiters' regiment's new tap shoes

31/03/2024: We live nearby and so we came quite often until recently, simple food, not very expensive cocktails and a nice terrace in summer to drink a beer. Then Laurent Gerra bought the place and there, a pint of mid-range beer went to 9 euros, worse than Paris! We even reach the height of stupidity with a Tripel Karmeliet (beer that you find literally everywhere) at 11.50 euros. Ashamed, even the nice waiters have left, goodbye to the chanteclair after so many years of loyalty!

On the other hand, the menu does not match the decor of the room.

05/04/2024: First and last time in this bakery. At 5 p.m. on a Friday, nothing in the window, a very unpleasant saleswoman who coughs into her hand and then touches the products. And a small brioche for €6!
28/03/2024: Not living in Lyon… I even ask my partner to bring me some Jolivet bread! And a Canute one! The bread is crispy, cooked to perfection! And all their products are too! If there are so many queues in this bakery, it’s not for nothing… ☺️
