10/10/2026: This is my third time here, and I simply had to recommend this restaurant, which is a true gem. While not particularly vegan, I'm always amazed by the chef's masterful blend of flavors—it's simply superb! I'm constantly discovering new taste combinations, and I'm so grateful for that. The waiter is also very attentive and friendly, yet discreet enough to let us fully enjoy our magical moment at Brocoli. I highly recommend it!

10/09/2026: The restaurant was far too hot. There were several fans, and I appreciated the effort, but there was no difference in how well they blew from table to table. My table received no airflow at all, and I had a sweaty dinner. Several other customers were also using fans. I asked if they could direct the fans towards me, but they didn't do anything about it. I was really looking forward to the meal, so I'm very disappointed that I couldn't concentrate on the taste during the latter half of the course because of the heat. The foie gras appetizer was absolutely delicious. It's a taste I would love to have again and again.

09/09/2026: A truly excellent restaurant, great value for money, the tastiest food I've eaten in ages! We went for the 4-course menu, every course was good. In addition, we were surprised with 3 intermediate courses. Highly recommended!!

20/10/2026: It is hard to describe how much we loved Takao Takano. We sampled several Michelin restaurants in Lyon and this was our absolute favorite. Right from when we came in the entrance, our umbrella and jackets were taken and we were shown our seats. The staff was exceptionally attentive, kind, and ready with recommendations. We had the lunch three course menu and wish we had room to pick the four course. Each dish came out and we thought we had found a new favourite dish with every new plate. We were hesitant to pick up and eat the fried fish, but our waiter gave us confidence to eat the lightly fried appetizer and our taste buds sang! We were given several wine pairings and cheese recommendations with the cheese cart. Our meal was followed by some espresso and light pastries. The two servers expertly handled the small dining area, and were swift and in sync for every meal served to us. The main fish entree was my favorite, both my wife and I are usually averse to fish but we are so happy we had it. Each bite with both sauces carried us to heaven. I can not recommend Takao Takano enough, I loved every dish on the sampling menu and if I get the chance to come here again I will skip Paul Bocuse and come right here for dinner.

07/10/2026: An excellent restaurant we first encountered in Croix-Rousse... Now located in the heart of the 6th arrondissement. A menu that changes very regularly, refined dishes and original flavors, in a simple yet modern dining room, not to mention the upstairs space. A truly beautiful establishment where your taste buds will be delighted.
