If you're in Lyon or visiting and want to try some authentic Thai food, this place is a must-try and definitely worth the hype. The food tastes exactly like in Thailand, and you can even request the chefs to increase the spice level (if you're up to the challenge!). I visited this place twice during my stay and will definitely be back a third time.
10/12/2025: As a Thai person who’s lived abroad for a long period of time, I’d strongly recommend this place. Very authentic food. Flavors are bold, savory, and just superb. While I would definitely advise you to try all the classics such as Pad Thai, Tom Yum, or Green curry, a notable dish that is worth mentioning is the papaya salad, deep fried fish, and the เสือร้องไห้ (beef dish). These are some of the local delicacies not offered at other Thai establishments abroad but is a must try nevertheless. Will definitely come back for a second visit.

Please note that it is open on a Sunday in Lyon during the Festival of Lights +++.
Very good quality-price compromise 45€ per menu (see photos).
The only downside is that the room is a little noisy.
06/12/2024: The reservation we had made a month ago has just been canceled by the restaurant. The latter has been trying for several days to obtain our bank card imprint. We will appreciate....

11/08/2024: Most of the dishes were good, but some were totally tasteless. Less of human service: there's no tangible menu but a QR code one so you need a smart phone and an internet access to order the food. The waiting time was quite long (we were here on Saturday, lunchtime). The overall price is quite high comparing with the quality, and especially if you compare it with others Chinese restaurants.
05/08/2024: I've had takeout 3 times and the wait isn't very long.
I only had the beef noodles and it was truly delicious 😋
I can't give a rating for the atmosphere having never eaten there.
I highly recommend and the prices are affordable

25/09/2024: Quelle déception . De l’apéritif au dessert la qualité attendu de la part de ce chef qui nous a habitué à Lyon a l’excellence n’y est pas ! Cocktail « madeleine » à revoir et que dire du Vitello tonato totalement raté par la découpe de la viande non italienne car épaisse et la sauce inadaptée ! Les grenouilles à revoir même si « fraîches « la double cuisson implique quand même une cuisson et l’ail persil un minimum de quantité ! Souhaitons à ce bon chef de se remettre rapidement sur les bons rails très difficile de passer d’un petit établissement à cette grande taille ! Petit conseil connaissant le lieu depuis longtemps la terrasse mérite une mise en valeur !
14/09/2024: Grosse déception : nous attendions de tester ce restaurant depuis quelques temps et avons vraiment été déçus par nos assiettes, en dehors d’une succulente côte de bœuf à 140€ pour 3pers, pour les autres, les cuissons n’étaient vraiment pas maîtrisées et nous n’avons pas pris plaisir à manger… De plus, très très cher pour ce que l’on nous a servi.
Dommage, aucune envie d’y revenir…

Revoyez vos tarifs, ou ne faites pas d annonce et payez au black, mais ne diffusez pas sur Brigad à ce tarif.
Moins 25% de charges vous savez ce que cela revient en auto !?

The setting of the place is a little dark with a few years behind it, but more than acceptable and in line with the prices charged

13/11/2024: Miwa sushi offers a very wide choice of dishes whether sushi/maki/sashimi/Temaki or hot dishes such as Ramens, noodles, Udon Bo bun, poke etc. Everything is really very good, you feel like it's homemade, hence the slightly higher but affordable price. I recommend their mixed meal menu with 3 or 4 dishes that I have every week. And the mochi are really delicious, especially my favorite with matcha green tea 😋🤤
The atmosphere is very cozy. And above all the service is really very good, very human. I was even given real baguettes as a gift as a loyal customer 🥰

10/12/2024: Seems nice but... I had to wait 45 minutes for a takeout and paid 19 EUR for a tiny cup of miso and shrimp tempura over rice (of which there were only 3 pieces of medium-sized shrimp, and 7 slices of veg - I had to eat again when I got home!). They do not sell raw fish sushi for takeout (why not, everyone else does?), which really limits the options. I can't recommend this restaurant - there are many faster and cheaper sushi restaurants in Lyon with quality food. Nice server, though.
03/12/2024: A restaurant run by a Japanese owner. Everything was very delicious and I was able to eat in peace. If you want to eat authentic Japanese food, this is the place to go.

19/11/2024: I haven't had the opportunity to go back for a long time but I think Neroliva will become our favorite Italian restaurant! The pizzas are divine (I loved the smoke with the scamorza), the absolutely charming and super commercial service (2nd round of drinks offered to make up for a short wait - although not very inconvenient on a Saturday evening) and the affordable prices. Flawless, thank you very much!!!

27/04/2025: We booked into this restaurant randomly at the beginning of the month.
It’s an excellent address, with great service. The place is very pretty. Space all around the restaurant for parking. I didn't really like the dishes chosen, but that's just my opinion.
The only downside is the prices. Very very expensive for the quality and quantity.
18/04/2025: If you like to eat in the company of a dog, this establishment is for you, we were forced to leave without finishing the meal, a dog next to us shook itself, we found hairs in our glasses

20/09/2024: We had dinner on August 22, 2024 in this Lyon restaurant, the day after its resumption after its summer closure. The experience did not live up to our expectations because we expected more from this promising restaurant, recommended by the Michelin guide.
The summer menu, obviously very light, was definitely a little “short” with a very limited choice of options. Several alternatives were also accompanied by supplements, including on wine. So much so that they became almost essential for an already limited choice. If the cuisine remains of high quality and the service impeccable, it is clear that the resumption of activity has been done at a minimum with basic offerings, which do not live up to the restaurant's pretensions. The room being already half full in the middle of the week, we are right to question the relevance of such a minimalist menu...
The restaurateur responded to this criticism with this argument: “We understand your remark regarding the limited choice of our menu. However, we would like to explain to you that this choice is deliberate and has been an integral part of our philosophy for 13 consecutive years now. Our objective has always been to favor quality over quantity, by offering a short menu but entirely composed of homemade dishes, from starters to desserts, even including our ice creams and sorbets. »
We maintain our criticism. By invoking the freshness of the products to justify his minimalist menu, the restaurateur avoids the question posed. When in such a short menu, there are so many extras, we increase the bill, quietly and seemingly nothing.
In fact, the bill came to 71 euros/person (wine included), an amount much higher than the basic menu displayed (45 euros). Moreover, the selection of wines recommended by the boss (45 euros) was curiously unavailable, and replaced by a much more expensive bottle (73 euros), a proposal that we obviously refused.
Since our first exchange, the restaurateur kindly pointed out to us that the prices are displayed on his website. However, he did not see fit to update his website this summer 2024 and in fact, it was his winter menu that was displayed at the time of our reservation. A regrettable omission. An oversight, without a doubt.
