24/04/2026: Why 3 stars when everything was so good? Simply because I left hungry! After dessert, and there were three of us saying exactly the same thing: we could have immediately ordered the entire meal again! Everything served was excellent, but the portions were so small that the dinner left a feeling of intense frustration. That's why I won't be returning to Jean Moulin, which is a shame. The dining room was extremely noisy; they urgently need to install ceiling-mounted sound systems like those found in many restaurants. €76 per person for five people, including two bottles of wine, a Badoit sparkling water, and a three-course meal (starter, main course, dessert, no cheese). The service was very friendly, if a little overwhelmed.

20/02/2026: I recently visited the Museum of Contemporary Art in Lyon, and my experience deserves four stars. It's an interesting, modern, and stimulating cultural space, even if not everything resonated with me in the same way. The exhibitions are varied and showcase contemporary artists with original, sometimes surprising, works. Some installations are immersive and truly thought-provoking. You don't come here to see classic paintings, but to discover concepts, ideas, and forms of expression that are sometimes perplexing. That's precisely what makes the visit so interesting. Even when you don't understand everything, it sparks curiosity and encourages you to ask questions. The museum space is well-organized, with large rooms that allow for easy movement. Natural light in certain parts of the building beautifully highlights the artworks. The explanations next to the installations help to better understand the artists' intentions, which is essential in contemporary art. The staff is discreet and professional. The reception is adequate, and the overall atmosphere is calm, allowing you to take your time and observe. The visit can last between one and two hours, depending on your pace and interest in the current exhibitions. Why 4 stars and not 5? Because contemporary art can sometimes remain very abstract. Some works may seem difficult to grasp or lack in-depth explanations. This can make the experience somewhat uneven from room to room. In short, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Lyon is a place to visit to discover modern and stimulating works. It's an enriching cultural outing, ideal for those who enjoy thinking and exploring different art forms.

No worries: the staff will remind you of the cicadas' song and transport you instantly, as if you were already there. 🥰 The food is excellent, made with fresh, Italian ingredients, some even imported directly from Italy. The dishes are generous, hearty, and a delight for the taste buds. You can add extras for an even more indulgent experience. It's a real pleasure to eat there. 🤤😋🍕🍝 Bonus: they also offer cocktails, including house cocktails. 😋🤤🍹🍸 It's the perfect place to celebrate a birthday (I've already been twice!), with Italian birthday music, lighting effects, and staff who make you feel special. 🎉🎂 You can go with family, friends, colleagues, or even alone. They also offer private bookings for the restaurant for events. 😊 The staff is lovely, smiling, welcoming, and warm. They give excellent advice, especially on food and drink pairings. There's laughter, a friendly, family atmosphere, a comfortable feel, and you always have a great time with them. 🥰🤗☺️ You have several options to enjoy their dishes: dine in, takeout, or delivery. 13/02/2026: Always a great time with friends. I've been going for 17 years, and it's always a pleasure. Huguette is irreplaceable ;-) Those who prefer modern, refined cuisine should probably avoid this place.

28/04/2026: Two very pleasant dining rooms, but a bit noisy, like all restaurants during the busy business lunch hour. The service is impeccable, and everyone is incredibly friendly. The portions could be a little larger, especially the desserts. But everything was delicious, and the brains, which I hadn't tasted in a long time, were very good. (You have to like them!). A good place to eat, but with a slightly higher price tag than average!

The food was excellent; the pigeon and desserts were perfectly cooked. We received all the attention we could have wished for, nothing more, nothing less. A big thank you to Chef Mariller and his entire team.

02/12/2025: I followed the reviews that promised an ideal place to work, and I wasted my time. There was only one power outlet in the entire café (already in use, of course), pop and rock music blasting, and exorbitant prices for a hard brownie and a bitter, bland matcha. It was my first and last time there. The staff were friendly, though.

01/12/2025: This review is solely for the business operation of the establishment, and not about the food or service. On the website, and on the restaurant’s Instagram profile page, it indicates that it is open 7 days a week from 6pm-11pm. However, today, December 1, 2025, I stood outside the bar at 6pm (and again at 7pm thinking they might have the hours of operation wrongly indicated online), and it was completely dark inside both times. I also tried calling, but to no avail. It is unacceptable to advertise that an establishment is open 7 days a week when it is not. Simply indicate the days that the place is closed online. I hope that is not a difficult task to do for the sister restaurant of a Michelin-starred restaurant. To prove this is all true, I have also enclosed the photos of my visit with the time stamp in this review.
