06/09/2026: July 2026: Year-end update A beautiful evolution on the plate. Still as refined, but so much more indulgent. Some slightly more unusual combinations. Truly delicious. Service even better than before. We can finally give it a glowing recommendation 😉 March 2025: There's a lot to say, both good and bad. First, the dining room. Cold and drab. We were the second couple to arrive, and we felt like we were sitting in a train station waiting room... Once full, it was very noisy! Then, the service. Excellent. The staff is very approachable, pleasant, and attentive. Finally, the meal. We were a little disappointed for a 2-Michelin-starred restaurant with a €200 menu. Nothing was wrong or bad, of course, but the flavors were rather mild and all quite classic. Even though the result was very good, nothing truly exceptional. Special mention, however, goes to the cheese (what a plate! 😜), the frog leg accompaniment, and the pigeon. Ultimately, we had a good meal, but we find it difficult to recommend the restaurant to our foodie friends.

22/08/2026: 🇫🇷 Takao Takano 🌟🌟 2 Michelin Stars 🍴 Creative Cuisine 🎗️ Located in the 6th arrondissement of Lyon, the culinary capital of France, Takao Takano proudly displays its Michelin awards outside. The interior is relatively small and simply decorated, giving the feeling of a chef inviting friends over for a meal at his home. Tablecloth-less wooden tables create a relaxed and informal atmosphere. 🎗️ The chef presents his dishes under the motto "Keep it simple - keep it good," minimizing unnecessary elements, focusing on balanced plating, and emphasizing the quality of the ingredients. Each dish has a light flavor profile and avoids the heavy buttery elements found in classic restaurants. For the beginning of 2026, the restaurant presents a Tasting Menu called Menu Joyeux, utilizing daily available ingredients. Starting with the lunch-only Menu Envie ($80), consisting of a Starter, Main Course, and Dessert, with the option to add a cheese course for €22; the next is Menu Essence ($160), served both lunch and dinner, comprising 3 courses, Cheese, and Dessert; and finally, Menu Partage ($220), also served both lunch and dinner, consisting of 4 courses, Cheese, and 2 Desserts. Some highlight dishes include: ✨ Lamb Perfectly grilled lamb on a barbecue, paired with artichoke and fried leeks, and a rich Jus sauce. Diced Vaucluse truffles are added, with a thin layer of grated truffle on top. (16/20) ✨ Dessert The main dessert is a variety of rhubarb dishes, infused with the fragrant aroma of lavender. The bottom layer is a cream served with a texture similar to panna cotta (17/20). 🎗️ Takao Takano is one of the most popular restaurants in Lyon. All the dishes have accessible flavors and diverse elements. The prices are very reasonable, making it hard to find a comparable restaurant elsewhere. There's a decent selection of wines. However, due to the limited number of staff, service may be a bit slow. 20/09/2026: The temple of meat in Lyon. If you're looking for exceptional meat, look no further. At L'Argot, the experience begins at the butcher's counter, where you'll be passionately advised on exceptional breeds and superb aged cuts. On the plate, the cooking is impeccable, the portions are generous, and the appetizers (special mention to the pâté en croûte) set the bar very high. Attentive staff and an authentic atmosphere. A must-visit in Lyon.

05/09/2026: Great restaurant! My girlfriend and I go there all the time for their butter chicken, which is delicious, especially with a good mango lassi. Go for it without hesitation!

14/09/2026: We had a very pleasant and delicious time as a family; everything was perfect, from the service to the food, from the appetizer to the dessert. Thank you to the chef for his cheerful and friendly manner and for his tasty cuisine, and also to his attentive waitress. The icing on the cake is that this restaurant is open 7 days a week, for lunch and dinner. Perhaps a children's menu could be considered, but that's a minor point as a solution was found to satisfy our little one. PS: We're not related, but rather namesakes, unfortunately.

07/08/2026: Simply the best board game bar I've ever been to. Usually, you have to choose between the quality of the atmosphere and the quality of the food, but not here! The entire menu is tempting, often quite original, and above all, incredibly delicious. The selection of games is huge, and most importantly, the staff are just fantastic and offer excellent advice. So thank you to the whole team, and I can't wait to come back :)

24/09/2026: The service was catastrophic and chaotic. We waited 30 minutes for our order, having arrived at 7:30 PM and left the restaurant at 10:00 PM for just one starter, one main course, and one dessert. Unacceptable! The champagne was served at room temperature, which was ridiculous and subpar. The food itself is always very good and well-prepared, however, the panzotti dish was a bit too small for pasta in terms of portion size; it was truly excessive. Therefore, I give this restaurant a bad rating, and it's entirely justified. I think if Michelin had been there that day, they would have been even harsher. A word to the wise.
