15/05/2026: A restaurant we've known for many years. Back then, it was already great, but now we found the dishes even better! The food is delicious, the broth is fantastic, the noodles and everything else are generous and flavorful—in short, flawless. Thank you for the wonderful meal, and see you soon!

13/05/2026: A disappointment for me. The place is small, cramped, and very noisy. I ordered a Chashu Ramen without any extras, but they brought me ramen with an egg on top. The ramen was nicely presented, however, there was very little broth, and the broth itself was extremely salty, to the point where you couldn't taste any broth at all. The meat was good. The bean sprouts were cold, and the noodles were very basic. I didn't find it very good, and I won't be going back. Especially since the price is far too high (€16.60 for the ramen, and with the extra I didn't order, it came to €19.90).

28/01/2026: No hesitation at all!! A charming little spot, just steps from La Doua. The father, mother, and daughter prepare delicious, comforting dishes and desserts, all entirely homemade!! 😋 Mmmhhh... it smells amazing as soon as you walk in!! The place is small and cozy, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere, just like at Auntie and Uncle's house 😊. A very pleasant lunch break 🤗. You can also (especially) get takeout (bring your own container or not). Lunchtime's wide selection: - Pork meatballs in tomato sauce - Flemish beef stew - Oven-roasted lamb - Lemon-crusted salmon fillet - Penne pasta - Garlic squash gratin - Potato gratin - Spinach - Green beans - Cabbage with bacon - Sautéed button mushrooms - Pear and almond tart - Chocolate pear tart - Caramelized apple tart - Brookie - Apples 🍎

29/04/2026: Pleasantly surprised by this little neighborhood restaurant on Place de Croix Luizet, with a daily special for €13.50, homemade caramel panna cotta to die for, a terrace, and smiling staff. What more could you ask for?

04/07/2025: Second time I've come, and second time it's the same... We waited 20 minutes for just an ice cream and a milkshake, having to ask the server again. The service is very, very slow! There's a real sense of a lack of organization and optimization in the service department. It's a shame because I would have really liked to try the food, but it makes you think. I hope it will be improved one day because it looks good!

02/07/2025: We had a charcuterie board mid-afternoon with a drink. A good point because we were able to eat something, but it was just a stopgap, so we weren't going there to enjoy a meal.

24/04/2026: We had a wonderful time at Au Comptoir d'Émile. The dishes were simply delicious, with perfectly balanced flavors. A big thank you also for the warm and attentive welcome. Despite the restaurant's difficulty with one staff member absent, the team demonstrated patience, kindness, and adaptability, which deserves to be highlighted. We highly recommend it!

08/04/2026: It's a shame we can't give zero stars. The service was deplorable, our meal took two hours to arrive, and the menu included three crepes served 45 minutes apart, with the second crepe completely forgotten. The third crepe was very sparsely filled, if at all. A crepe supposedly raspberry-chocolate was actually chocolate-free. Furthermore, we had to go to the kitchen ourselves to ask for water and to get cutlery from other tables because there was none at our table, even though the food had been served. We also asked for a gesture of goodwill, which was granted, but €6 on a €130 bill is paltry. I have nothing more to say; I will never set foot in this restaurant again.

08/05/2026: Since I started working in the neighborhood, I've tried all the places and for me, this is the best kebab. They also have plenty of other things, like burgers that are cheaper and much better than McDonald's. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming; I recommend it.

17/04/2026: Every time I'm in Lyon and craving a kebab, I go to Baraka. The staff is fantastic, the atmosphere is very pleasant, and even their kebab is excellent! It's the best. I highly recommend it.

14/05/2026: I was very disappointed with my visit to KFC Carré de Soie. The fries and hot wings were clearly not freshly prepared: everything seemed reheated, lacking freshness and crispness. The quality was definitely lacking this time. What a shame.
