14/02/2026: Valentine's Day dinner with my boyfriend. I was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant's calm atmosphere. The two waitresses who served us that evening were particularly lovely and attentive (sorry, I don't have their names). The food was excellent, with many homemade dishes, which was very nice. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

16/10/2025: Traditional, refined, and refined cuisine. A warm welcome and relatively fast service. Pleasant setting with a view of the cathedral. Located between the old town and the city center. One of the only restaurants in Le Mans open on Sunday lunchtimes. Which is a plus.

22/03/2026: Excellent restaurant. Nina and her husband are very friendly and helpful. We had lunch at the restaurant and left thoroughly charmed. The meal was excellent, the setting is beautiful, and the traditional tableware is lovely. The following week, we ordered 10 takeout dishes. They were excellent and plentiful. Everything was very well prepared and packaged for transport. It was superb. Thank you so much.

15/03/2026: We had known this restaurant for years and were eager to return. We remembered the generous and original dishes that truly transported us to Morocco. We ordered a "royal couscous" which was a disaster in name only: very few vegetables to accompany the couscous and hardly any meat. One of our friends even ordered just two merguez sausages and a meatball—not even worthy of a school cafeteria! It's a shame because this restaurant used to be really good. As a result, we found the prices too high for what we got on our plates. The service was still friendly, and the restaurant was calm and pleasant. They need to be careful because this is how you lose customers!

09/02/2026: Outrageous! Ordered on Deliveroo, €10 for chicken tikka for 4 pieces of chicken and served without rice – unheard of!

20/03/2026: While in Le Mans for a month, I ordered several times from this pizzeria. The menu is extensive, the food is good and generous, and the delivery is punctual. The prices are very reasonable, and to top it all off, the owner is very friendly. What more could you ask for?

23/02/2026: Delivery order tonight! We're very disappointed! Undercooked fries, kebab bread broken in half when opening the box, tacos with bland tenders (tasted like water)! An improvement in product quality is recommended...

04/02/2026: We stopped by for lunch. The server was very unpleasant and not at all friendly. She didn't listen when we were talking to her; it was almost as if we were bothering her. She didn't answer our questions. On the other hand, the sandwiches were still good, but the meat and fish fillings were rather sparse. At lunchtime, you have to arrive early to get a seat. The cleanliness and the dishes left much to be desired.

La Gerbe d’Or offers high-quality products: crusty breads, delicious pastries, and especially generously filled, fresh, and flavorful sandwiches. It's truly excellent value for money. The service is quick and professional. A must-visit that I recommend without hesitation.
