Classic recipes are executed with care, reminiscent of good, traditional restaurants. The welcome is warm and genuine; you can tell the establishment has its regulars and also knows how to make newcomers feel at ease. The setting is simple but clean and inviting. The prices are very reasonable for the quantity and quality offered. An authentic place where you can truly enjoy a good meal.

15/02/2026: The dishes offered were very well prepared. The service was pleasant and of high quality, especially from the waitress. A few details could be improved: the chair caning needs replacing, and many light bulbs were missing or burned out. Most importantly, we had a very good meal. We went there for Valentine's Day. The menu was €120. The ingredients were high quality, including caviar and scallops. The price was a little too high.

23/01/2026: Good meal; the €39 set menu offers good value for money. The old-fashioned service is quite rare these days. I was a little disappointed by the starter, the fish terrine was a bit bland... but the dessert with citrus and lychee sorbet was perfect.

25/02/2026: Excellent routes, as always with Arkose. The gym is well-ventilated and bright, which is pleasant. However, there are two major drawbacks. First, the mandatory use of liquid chalk for obscure reasons, even though it's really terrible for holding holds, especially the chalk sold by Arkose, which is particularly poor quality (pasty, doesn't stick to the skin, and comes off in two or three movements) --> go take some chemistry lessons at Friction Labs. Second, and a significant drawback, is the anarchist graffiti everywhere in the gym (toilets, changing rooms, etc.). Either you get it removed, or you condone it. We live in a democracy, don't forget that. If they were swastikas, they would have been gone a long time ago, I think. It's a shame that climbing is becoming politicized...

23/02/2026: First time in this gym, it's far too small for the number of people it holds. Too many people under the routes, dangerous. A climbing gym isn't a children's playground; between the music being too loud and the screaming toddler running under the routes... fantastic!

Nathalie and Christian gave us a very warm welcome, with a special mention for François, who was incredibly kind and kept smiling throughout the entire meal. The prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend it.

17/01/2026: The chef is fantastic; everything is delicious, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients. The service is also quick and always pleasant. It's a shame it's become so expensive lately: €17 for a bowl of Japanese rice made with simple, inexpensive ingredients. I don't go there as often anymore, which is a pity; it used to be my go-to lunch spot.
