17/03/2026: I wouldn't give it zero stars because the place and the service were impeccable (kudos to the two very friendly waitresses for their courage with such a boss). Another positive point is that they cater to vegetarian and vegan meals; however, the vegetarian burger at €20 and the vegan burger with two patties but no cheese or sauce at €25 seem a bit pricey to me. Furthermore, the other four people ordered mussels that were cold and definitely not fresh (a strong smell when the dishes arrived). They sent their meals back. Apparently, the mussels are heated in a bain-marie; they were tiny in their shells, and the broth was tasteless. Furthermore, there was no attempt at compensation, even though we had ordered for six people: two bottles of white wine, a Coke, a bottle of sparkling water, a dozen oysters, and all six dishes. The owner didn't even come to see us, and on top of that, he gave me a cold look while I was smoking a cigarette outside, even though I was smiling at him. Basically, it's an interesting place for a drink on the terrace, but definitely avoid it if you're looking for a meal!

15/03/2026: Beautiful view from the quayside. But unfortunately, a one-hour wait just to order... Then over 30 minutes to be served... We left early because over an hour and a half for three hot chocolates and three crepes was far too long. I should mention that there weren't many people left on the terrace. Several people left because of the excessive wait.

28/03/2026: Supposedly a gourmet latte macchiato... After two complaints. Supposedly it was good... Plus the glass was dirty... I do not recommend this Flunch.

22/03/2026: Mixed feelings. Prices have gone up significantly, while the selection has shrunk. There are fewer vegetable options. Aside from fries and dauphine potatoes in generous quantities, the vegetable dishes are rather limited. Tonight, apart from flageolets, lentils, and ratatouille, there were no green vegetables. In short, eating at Flunch ends up being more expensive than going to the competitor across the street.

15/01/2026: The manager's behavior struck me as inappropriate. While I was wearing a Dior sweatshirt, he made several comments about it, then inquired about my job, displaying excessive curiosity. He even went so far as to ask who paid for my designer clothes, which made my sister uncomfortable. As for the food, the quality was disappointing: the meat was too dry and the portions were small. Furthermore, the establishment claims to offer halal cuisine while also serving alcohol, which is somewhat misleading.

12/12/2025: Delicious food with exceptional service...kindness and humor are always present. All this at very affordable prices...A must-visit in Amiens...We will be back!!!!

27/12/2025: Nice setting. The food was good, but it would have been better if it had been a little hotter. One of the meats wasn't cooked properly: medium, not pink. The salad wasn't very fresh. The wine we ordered never arrived; after asking the waiter, I was told they were out. (My meal was almost finished.) We ordered a starter, but we received the main course instead. ?!

26/11/2025: All the Échanson hotels in the Mercure de France group (one of the Accor group's brands) share the principle of introducing you to regional cuisine, affordable wines from local wine regions, and quality menus. L'Échanson in Amiens is no exception. In fact, it's a model of excellence in terms of its warm welcome and efficient service. The cuisine, worthy of a good city brasserie, features classic and generous dishes, along with some excellent chef's specials. There's no artificially inventive cuisine that leaves you starving, but rather simple, satisfying, and enjoyable dishes. Located opposite the magnificent cathedral, L'Échanson is a great choice in this area, especially for tourists, offering excellent value for money!

17/03/2026: Nice hotel with lovely staff who all try to be helpful. As mentioned previously in reviews rooms are slightly dated & not designed well … with doors opening awkwardly restricting space… no bottle water in room & TV not a smart one… saying all that the room was comfortable for the one night we stayed .. breakfast was really good with plenty of choice .. we had free parking at the front of the hotel which limited… We had a lovely meal in the hotel restaurant ( review on restaurant) .. the hotel served a purpose breaking our journey on our way home .. we wouldn’t hesitate using it again as the price was excellent.

12/03/2026: The hotel is very well located, and the restaurant is nice and affordable. The only downside is that the bathroom water is barely hot.

09/03/2026: A very pleasant place for trout and white trout fishing, you can have lunch or dinner there or even have a snack for the children: waffles, pancakes, ice cream and trout fishing with weights, with a view of the ponds.

11/02/2026: I've eaten here about ten times now. The dishes are traditional and quite comforting. They're good. The portions are decent. The service isn't too bad. There are just one or two people who complain, but the rest of the servers are very welcoming, patient, and quite friendly. There's a wide selection of daily specials, but they're often the same... Arrive at noon and you'll eat very quickly (which suits me), it gets more difficult during the rush around 1 p.m. But that's to be expected since the prices are reasonable.

07/02/2026: We wanted to have a drink at 7:30 pm, and when we arrived, there wasn't even a "hello," just "we're closing in 10 minutes"... we left immediately! I don't recommend it, especially since it's not the first time we've received such a cursory welcome.

07/03/2026: The waiter, named Riton, makes obscene remarks. I saw him talking to my 13-year-old niece and taking her behind the bar to show her his new cocktail, which he called "Ritzeub." I cannot tolerate this kind of behavior. I strongly advise against going to this bar; during his free time, Riton chews on the booths.

02/12/2025: We tried the restaurant for a birthday. The setting was great. The welcome was friendly, but we were very disappointed with the meal choices. A set menu is advertised on the website (and we received it), but the à la carte dishes are also listed on the website, which doesn't exist. A real shame. We complained, and we were told that the website wasn't up to date and that only the set menu was available. A bit disappointed. The products were fresh and of good quality, but we would have liked more choices without so many extra charges (3 euros for a starter, 3 or 5 euros for a main course). We weren't expecting that. What a shame.

From the moment you step through the doors, the atmosphere is one of tranquility: a place that combines the charm of a historic castle with the comfort of a luxury hotel. The welcome and accommodations were exceptional. I must commend the kindness and professionalism of the staff. The wellness area—sauna, jacuzzi, and swimming pool—is designed to offer a moment of absolute relaxation. The food is outstanding, creative and refined cuisine paired with a lovely glass of wine. Highly recommended!
