18/12/2024: one of my favorite Thai restaurants, very good value for money, a very warm welcome. I recommend their beef loc lac which is a Vietnamese dish but they do it better than in Vietnamese restaurants. The flan is also very good. I was satisfied with all the dishes I was able to taste!

05/01/2026: One snowy evening, everything was blocked. A restaurant near our accommodation was open. We received a warm welcome when we ordered takeout. Quick and delicious. Thank you.

19/11/2025: I got the lunch menu- nems and red curry. Nems are not an official Thailand dish so I really had my doubts on whether the food would be authentic... but the red curry was decent. Service was efficient.
07/11/2025: What a great find! I'm not usually a fan of this type of cuisine, but I have to admit I thoroughly enjoyed it! The vegetarian Pad Thai was delicious. For starters, we ordered an assortment to share, and we can't wait to go back!

I discovered it when I was a student...
It's now run by the daughter and son-in-law of the original owners.
The service is perfect, friendly, and attentive, and above all, the food is excellent, even better than it was 30 years ago! I highly recommend it (with your taste buds open, of course! 😁). Reservations are recommended!
07/02/2026: I just had to pay for a doggy bag (a bag to take home your food). I've never seen anything like it. To avoid wasting the food I paid for, which they're making a huge profit on given the price, I have to pay. It's insane. And it's not reusable packaging, made from recycled materials or anything like that. It's just an old plastic bag and some aluminum foil...

05/02/2026: The pork i ordered was cooked perfectly! The dressing on the salad was a bit sweet for me but not a deal breaker. Maybe they can put the dressing on the side so we can add to taste.
For one person handling the ordering and serving, he was good in serving at almost full capacity.

26/02/2026: We ordered a dish and discussed duck, vegetables, and rice. They brought me another dish from the menu with a bunch of mushrooms instead of vegetables, which gave me a terrible stomach ache! Last time we were here, we ordered a Thai rice dish and they brought me rice noodles! The woman at the register writes down the dishes as she sees fit! We won't be coming here again. My stomach still hurts!
05/02/2026: "I was here yesterday afternoon and I'm absolutely thrilled with the Asian cuisine. The atmosphere was incredibly inviting and perfect for a relaxing break. I especially appreciated the service: since I don't eat meat, I was able to easily switch my noodles with vegetables to tofu. The team was extremely flexible and friendly. The food was outstanding – I'll definitely be back!"

25/10/2025: We had a great time at Chayo. The food is simple and efficient, with lots of vegetarian dishes with bold flavors. You shouldn't look for finesse, but for freshness. The service is good and they take the time to explain the different dishes, even if there are a lot of people 😁 It's a family atmosphere that's also suitable for groups of friends. If we had to define them quickly, I would say a family canteen. Thank you for this great time, we will be back ❤️
