10/05/2026: Very disappointing, more style than substance. We travel a lot, but we didn't feel comfortable here at all.
The location is fantastic, but that's about it.
Our tiny room on the second floor, with no elevator and constant noise from the hotel's ventilation system, was, in our opinion, completely overpriced. The very friendly staff also seemed overwhelmed at times... our food order was forgotten, the second key card wasn't brought, we didn't receive a call to let us know if the room was ready, and the second luggage rack was forgotten. But by far the biggest drawback was the irritating way dinner was served. They try to sell you on the simultaneous, supposedly resource-saving, serving of hot appetizers and main courses as a special "house specialty"... we reacted too late and had by far the most unpleasant and uninspired meal of our trip. The following evening, however, we had a wonderful experience at the La Recreation restaurant....

29/03/2026: I'm so glad I read the reviews and chose to go with my three friends to this lovely tea room! The other cafes didn't really appeal to us. We found exactly what we were looking for here: a great selection of teas, but also Richard coffees, craft beer, apple pie, orange cake (all homemade), and everything was delicious! A warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere. They also sell artisanal honey.
It's not very big inside, so not really suitable for groups of more than four.

18/04/2026: Food without any flavour, OLD loaves of bread (but when I say old it's old!) we ordered twice to have some bread and it was the same leftover bread from noon -> there were some fresh ones available but it seemed we weren't worth it 🤡
We found a lot of breadcrumbs on the table and the chairs (without even mentioning the beautiful loaf of bread on the floor)
Disgustingly expensive for the quality of service and the food provided!

23/04/2026: 5/5 and I'm barely exaggerating!
First of all, the gentleman offered us a drink for our puppy, which was a lovely gesture! I really appreciated it.
As for the food, we were delighted, and I'm not exaggerating at all.
I had the dish of the day, a delicate, perfectly cooked fish, still meltingly tender, served with rice and zucchini. Everything was impeccable: the taste, the cooking, the presentation. Absolutely nothing to complain about.
My husband and daughter chose the pesto ravioli and they loved it.
The strawberries were also exquisite.
In a region where we ate lunch and dinner every day in different restaurants, we can say that for a very reasonable price, the value for money is excellent!
And the icing on the cake: Mr. and Mrs. were pleasant from beginning to end, and it was clear that it came naturally to them!

Overall, the staff were very professional.
The terrace is really pleasant.
The ingredients are of good quality, however, the portions are smaller than in previous years.
The service is quick and efficient.
In short, for a restaurant operating at full capacity in an extremely touristy village, frequented mainly by tourists from outside the region or country, this restaurant stands out for its consistent quality, as this isn't our first visit.
We hope it continues this way!

16/05/2026: A restaurant located on the main street of Lourmarin. A very warm welcome, even though our hostess was a bit overwhelmed due to the lunchtime rush. Pleasant setting, but above all, excellent cuisine, beautifully presented, and a reasonable bill. I enjoyed the dry humor of the person who served us. In conclusion, we recommend this restaurant.
14/05/2026: It's been a long time since I've had such an unpleasant experience in a restaurant… The service was deplorable and disrespectful, and the food was very mediocre… I simply cannot recommend this place…

The dishes and pizzas are excellent, and the owner, Sébastien, is incredibly welcoming.

15/10/2025: We had lunch here with our kids today and whilst the pizzas were good, we have never been treated as rude as at this restaurant. After politely asking for a table in French, the waiter responded in such an arrogant way that we should have left right away. But since the kids were hungry, we stayed and had one of the worst service experiences ever and we were the only customers in the whole restaurant.

16/10/2025: The interior setting (old-fashioned glass roof, wrought iron chairs, and bright ambiance) is very pretty. The terrace must also be very pleasant in summer.
On the other hand, the value for money is very poor. The portions are ridiculously small for the price. The food, aside from being spicy, lacks any of the subtle flavors of Thai cuisine; you have to wonder if the sauce isn't a diluted industrial powder. The wine list is very expensive.
07/09/2025: Big disappointment. We drove 25mins to this restaurant which we thought would be magical. As thai food lovers we had high expectations. The location is beautiful and the place has so much potential. But the experience was just disappointing. The food portions are ridiculously small, with a minimum of garnish or vegetables and it just was not good at all, we have never had such bland thai food. Beside this the owner and the lady with big black glasses were not friendly or welcoming, and very stressed that we arrived with three- albeit well behaving- children for dinner; we had reserved beforehand.
I rarely write negative reviews but I cannot say anything encouraging and cannot recommend this place. The two young waiters were friendly though.

14/09/2025: After waiting half an hour for a salad and a crepe, I asked the waitress if she had forgotten us. She abruptly replied, "What makes you think I'd forgotten you?" before listing the customers who had been there before us. Not very customer-friendly.
My mother was very happy with her crepe. My Caesar salad was mediocre at best: bland dressing, croutons like the kind you buy in a supermarket, and no anchovies. Avoid this place.
23/08/2025: I'm very surprised by the bad reviews, because I thought this little crêperie was fantastic!
The crêpes (both savory and sweet) are delicious and generously filled. And they're made fresh to order, you can tell. The kitchen is clean and the service is friendly (even at 4 pm to serve savory items), unlike other places that don't want to give you a choice of menu after a certain hour...
The terrace is lovely and they accept credit cards.
In short, it was great!
