11/06/2026: La Fontaine Gaillon was lovely. Friendly hostess and staff, (shout out to M, our server who was very attentive but never bothersome), very cozy atmosphere and the food was outstanding. We had the turbot and chicken, both were delicious. I highly recommend trying this place if you’re visiting and not sure where to go, you won’t be disappointed. Oh and the cocktails and champagne were spot on as well. Au revoir! 🇫🇷

06/06/2026: 1 star for food- the worst beef filet that I’ve ever had. Weird cut and portion was ridiculously small, not even 200g which is standard. Fries were bad as well, very salty, oily and hard. Atmosphere was great though, very nice place to sit. Service was just ok.

28/06/2026: A wonderful discovery in Lourmarin! We had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from start to finish. The dishes were delicious, made with high-quality ingredients and bursting with flavor. A huge thank you to the service, which was impeccable. Special mention goes to Elliott, who is new to the restaurant business but is already fantastic: smiling, attentive, professional, and very pleasant. He greatly contributed to making our meal even more enjoyable. We also greatly appreciated the visit from the Italian chef at the end of our meal, who came to make sure everything was to our liking. This thoughtful touch truly makes a difference and demonstrates the care taken to ensure customer satisfaction. An excellent restaurant that we wholeheartedly recommend. We will definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

12/06/2026: A place of rare tranquility and serenity in Lourmarin. What a wonderful discovery! Tucked away in a narrow street, we found this little porch and, charmed by the place, we enjoyed the shade while sipping excellent tea. Great advice, a lovely spot away from the crowds—in short, a timeless moment that did us good.

11/06/2026: Away from the hustle and bustle in a back street, a nice tearoom, delicious cheesecake, and plenty of choice. The decor is cozy; personally, I would put some comfortable chairs on the terrace. But that's just me.

25/05/2026: Good restaurant, very popular judging by the crowds, and excellent value for money compared to others. The staff are very friendly. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area. Highly recommended.

28/06/2026: A complete overhaul is urgently needed. As longtime regulars at La Louche à Beurre, we were frankly disappointed by our last visit. The portion sizes have shrunk considerably, to the point of being almost laughable. The sirloin steak is tiny: a far cry from the beautiful cuts of red meat of yesteryear, here we're left with a few flavorless slivers. As for the tournedos, it's simply a major disappointment—it looks more like a children's menu steak than a proper cut of meat. The chef now seems to be offering "budget" dishes, but at the obvious expense of quality. Even the appetizers are no longer up to par and give the impression of a general decline in standards. At La Louche à Beurre, you get the feeling you've gone from a ladle... to a butter spoon: a rather apt image of the reduced portions and the overall drop in quality. The service was terrible, with several mistakes in the order, which only worsened the experience. And above all, the price-to-quantity ratio of the meat has become completely disproportionate, for a quality far below expectations. The dishes are also poorly presented, with the meat served in a cross shape on the plate and a veritable spray of sauce. As it stands, the establishment clearly no longer lives up to its former reputation. A change of ownership is urgently needed!

26/06/2026: The best meal on this trip to France. Just amazing. Try the beef faux filet with Roquefort. Just amazing. Cant recommend it enough. Great french cuisine.
