16/07/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A real gem for lunch in Nancy! At Verdure, everyone creates their own salad from dozens of ultra-fresh, high-quality ingredients. The selection is impressive and offers something different every time you visit. The service is quick, the advice is always helpful, and the staff is incredibly attentive. Special mention goes to the owner, who is always friendly and welcoming, contributing to the restaurant's great atmosphere. It's one of the few lunchtime restaurants where you genuinely enjoy going. An excellent place that I recommend without hesitation!

20/08/2026: I've been eating at this authentic Indian (not Pakistani) restaurant for over 20 years now. My favorite dishes are the chicken korma, lamb biryani, naan, mango lassi, and pistachio kulfi. The portions are generous and the meat is incredibly tender. I've tried many Indian restaurants in France (including Paris) and abroad, and I haven't found naan cooked as perfectly or dishes as delicious. Thank you for these consistently excellent meals.

26/08/2026: A cold welcome on top of the not-so-warm outside temperature. We're still looking for the 4-star rating in the reviews. To begin with, we were asked if we wanted to eat on the terrace facing the canal or on the regular terrace. Then, in the end, there was no choice. Because the tables set weren't the ones facing the canal, and they didn't want to set them for the arriving customers. Then, an unfriendly waitress who criticized customers as they left and spent her time complaining. The peach syrup is a challenge; try to find the peach in your glass. The starter was mediocre, €8 for half a plate. The charcuterie platter came from a Super U supermarket tray. Not worthy of an "Italian" restaurant. The goat cheese platter was good, but there was only one goat cheese croquette. The main courses were also mixed. The pasta carbonara wasn't carbonara. Just pasta with cream (very little) and bacon bits straight from a tray, barely cooked. Luckily, there was salt and pepper on the table to season it. It was better than it had been straight from the kitchen. And we were glad we had some because the table next to us didn't and asked for ours. The second course wasn't any better. Goat cheese and speck ham cannelloni. Without speck. Three tiny pieces of ham with fat practically fighting each other and tasteless goat cheese. You mostly taste the accompanying tomato sauce. It was also unpleasant to have our plates taken away as soon as we finished. A little more and they would have taken it away before we could even take the last bites. Philippe Etchebest should come and give cooking and service lessons. Because seeing the waiters and cooks go outside to smoke in front of you during service should not be acceptable. Nor a waitress who was unpleasant and turned away customers, practically shoving them from their tables. Even though there were still seats available and it was only 12:30 PM. Luckily, a waiter in a pink polo shirt raised the bar and the bill.

25/08/2026: Excellent little restaurant. Passing through for the holidays, the macaronade was fantastic. The service was also excellent. We'll be back.

06/09/2026: I used to come to this kebab shop a few years ago and had rather fond memories of it. Despite the already fairly high prices and the portions not always being very generous, the kebabs were good, the ingredients fresh, and I particularly appreciated the cleanliness of the place and the kitchen. We decided to go back today as a family for lunch. When we arrived, a member of staff was setting up the tables and chairs on the terrace. We said hello, then sat down at a table barely two meters away. We naturally assumed that once the setup was complete, someone would come to take our order. But no. The man calmly finished setting up the terrace for several more minutes, then simply went inside without saying a word to us. We continued to wait. There were four members of staff present at that time, several of whom we could see in the kitchen through the window, and the establishment was far from being busy. Meanwhile, customers were arriving, ordering takeout, and leaving a few minutes later. I finally decided to go inside to ask if we had to order inside or if someone would be taking orders on the patio. I was told that we had to order inside because they didn't have a menu for taking orders outside. What I found particularly unfortunate was that the man setting up the patio was right next to the person who gave me this answer. He had seen us arrive, greet each other, sit down, and wait, all while remaining in the immediate vicinity for several minutes. A simple sentence would have sufficed: "To order, you have to come inside." It would have taken five seconds and avoided this whole situation. So it wasn't the principle of having to order inside that bothered me at all, but simply the lack of attention and communication towards customers who were clearly waiting. Disappointed and somewhat offended by the reception, we ultimately decided to leave without eating and went to another kebab shop a few minutes away. It's a shame, because I had a good impression of this establishment. After this experience, I unfortunately don't think I'll be setting foot in it again anytime soon.

06/09/2026: It had been an extremely long time since I'd been back to Manolya in Strasbourg, and unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with my experience. We were the only customers on the terrace. One of the servers was setting up the chairs, so we naturally assumed someone would come to take our order. However, no one told us we had to go inside to order. After waiting for almost 15 minutes without anyone coming, we finally decided to ask inside. That's when we were told we did indeed have to order directly at the counter. I find it really unfortunate that we weren't simply informed upon arrival. A simple "Hello, you need to order inside" would have saved us from waiting unnecessarily. The service is clearly subpar, and it's all the more disappointing after returning after so much time. It's an experience that unfortunately doesn't make me want to come back.

14/07/2026: I just ordered through Uber Eats and I'm honestly shocked. For once, a fast food place that dares to be original! I was a little skeptical, thinking I'd get the same quality as "classic" snacks, but I'm shocked. The fries are delicious, and the sauces are also very, very good. I ordered a Boursin sandwich, and for once, it was a real Boursin sandwich! Bravo! I had to leave a review; you deserve it!!

14/07/2026: This beautiful café is run by a woman of a certain age, as charming as the establishment itself. Its aesthetic transports you to another era, and the pastries and hot chocolate are delicious.

Exceptional quality products, ultra-fresh, delicious, and prepared with meticulous attention to detail. You can immediately taste the passion and authenticity in every bite. The service was equally remarkable: warm, attentive, and genuine. A special mention for Noémie, who was simply incredible! Her smile, energy, and professionalism made the experience even more memorable. This place truly deserves all the praise—I will definitely be back and I wholeheartedly recommend it!

20/08/2026: We used to have lunch there in a place that combined friendliness and a family atmosphere, but everything has deteriorated: the food, the dishes, and the service (no water or bread, you have to ask). It's very sad, but they've lost two customers today.

19/08/2026: We came here for dinner and ordered a jug of red wine, a king prawn risotto, and three pizzas. Unfortunately, our experience started badly with the wine. The first jug had a thin layer of white foam on top and tasted awful, as if it had been sitting out since lunchtime. We asked for a replacement, and thankfully the second jug was much better. The wine glasses were also visibly unclean, which did little to inspire confidence in the restaurant's hygiene standards. Things got worse with the king prawn risotto. When I tasted one of the prawns, it had a strong ammonia taste and smell, which is a clear sign that seafood has gone bad. I couldn't believe it at first, so I tried another bite and immediately felt sick. The prawns were clearly spoiled. We informed the waiter and asked him to smell the risotto himself. He took it away and later returned to apologise, which we appreciated. However, when the owner or manager came to collect the dishes, he didn't acknowledge the issue, apologise, or even make eye contact. Instead, he appeared annoyed and pulled a face, which was both unprofessional and dismissive. I've never been served seafood in such a condition before. This wasn't a matter of it being less than fresh; it was spoiled. Having already eaten a couple of bites, I was genuinely concerned about getting food poisoning. To be fair, the pizzas were very good and were easily the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, serving spoiled seafood, poor hygiene with the wine and glasses, and the manager's attitude completely overshadowed the positives. This is simply not acceptable, and based on this experience, I cannot recommend the restaurant.
