I recommend.
15/01/2025: Without doubt one of the best restaurants for couscous or tagine in the department, or even in the region. The welcome may be familiar. Choose a good table because the room is small and you can easily find yourself in the passage. It's easy to ask for a "doggy bag" because the proportions are generous. Reservation recommended.

Could you please train your waitress to greet customers with a friendly "hello"? Even though there are only a few days left before the restaurant closes. Also, the server didn't offer us a choice of pizza sizes, so we ended up paying more.

27/02/2026: Excellent restaurant, surely the best in La Roche-sur-Yon, at least for Japanese food. It goes beyond the typical Japanese restaurant experience with its cuisine that blends distinctly French and Japanese ingredients (like the miso and watercress soup). The service is also excellent; it's always a real pleasure.
26/02/2026: Without a doubt, my favorite Japanese restaurant in La Roche-sur-Yon. It goes beyond the usual sushi and skewers and offers a few slightly different dishes if that's what you're looking for. Personally, I stick to the salmon sashimi, which is always delicious. A bit pricey, but worth it. It also has the advantage of being right next to the train station and is therefore easily accessible by public transport.

A nice touch: the dishes are served on a hot plate.
23/04/2026: The food: The ribeye steak was cooked perfectly and was nice and rare. The fries could be improved by making them a larger size, like Belgian fries.
Service: No issues.
Atmosphere: Too quiet; try playing some background music.
Restrooms: Need renovation, although they are very well maintained.

24/04/2026: It had been a long time since we'd been here and we're so glad we made this decision. It was delicious (a little sauce with the burrito fries would have been a nice touch) and the service was top-notch, a smiling, open and very pleasant team. Thank you for this wonderful experience! 🥰

13/02/2026: The Hotel Marie Stuart in La Roche-sur-Yon is fantastic, with a superb restaurant where the chef even grills your food right in front of you. The staff are welcoming and dynamic.
I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic hotel and restaurant.

10/05/2026: Very disappointed with my drive-thru experience today. Over a 30-minute wait when there were only two cars… It's incomprehensible for a service that's supposed to be quick. No apology or explanation for the delay. They really need to improve their organization.

01/05/2026: A very disappointing experience today.
My husband went to your bakery with our two daughters while I stayed home with our baby. He was simply on the phone with me, describing the products and allowing me to choose, as if I had been there in person.
From the start, the tone was unpleasant. When my daughters asked for a burger panini with a specific sauce, instead of calmly explaining that it wasn't available and offering an alternative (like the Texas sauce you offer), the cashier simply said curtly, "I don't have it," without making any attempt to help.
The situation worsened: when my husband tried to ask me what I wanted, specifically if you had a three-cheese panini, the cashier literally turned his back on him without listening. My husband then had to insist, saying, "Excuse me, I'm not finished, I'd like a three-cheese panini." The salesperson then told him he shouldn't be on the phone and refused to serve him under those circumstances, as if it were a problem, when it was simply to allow me to choose my order, as if I had been there.
He then started serving another customer while my husband hadn't finished his order. The tone became frankly unpleasant and disrespectful.
As a result, my husband left without buying anything, which is a shame because we sometimes come to this bakery and are usually served by pleasant staff.
We can understand that a public holiday like May 1st can be difficult, but that doesn't justify such a lack of courtesy, especially in front of children.
A very bad experience today, which we hope does not reflect the rest of your team.
23/04/2026: Disgusting chocolate muffin, a raspberry doughnut that was barely any better, two cookies and an Oasis ice cream bar, all for the princely sum of €10 and change... at that price, a real baker wouldn't dare sell that! Run away!

12/05/2026: The medium pizza wasn't topped enough for my taste... It was mostly dough, and that's about it.
You're better off getting a pizza from a local pizzeria or somewhere else; I'm disappointed.
25/04/2026: I ordered a Groovy pizza without the BBQ sauce, which is the heart of this pizza. I called, was put on hold forever, and then they hung up on me.
For the second pizza, I ordered the bacon topping for €3.50, and I only received two pieces of bacon—unacceptable.
I filed two complaints online since it wasn't possible to do so by phone, and this isn't the first time.

14/12/2024: We had reservations for dinner after a show, as agreed with the establishment, notifying them of our arrival at the end of the evening. However, to our great surprise, when we called them to confirm our arrival, they informed us that the service was over because the cooks were stopping their activity.
This is a very disappointing experience: why accept a reservation if you cannot honor it? This clearly lacks professionalism and consideration for customers. We do not recommend this place for a serious organization.

26/09/2024: For several years we have been coming to Clem every month for professional reasons and have had access to the meeting room. We have always been well received by efficient and lovely staff (former team)! And then this summer, we learned in the newspapers that there had been a change of ownership. No call to introduce yourself or explain to us that the card has changed and the prices too!! Well it happens during a launch but the apotheosis was at our last monthly meeting: nothing is done as we were used to (normally the old team is no longer there except an adorable waitress who does her best to manage the room without organization and with a certain pressure: we have heard and seen the behavior of the new boss several times: clearly lacking humility, kindness and HUMANITY I spoke to him on the phone and I have rarely felt so much contempt with a touch. Other people had the same feeling because they had to call and were able to tell him: but no professional or commercial reaction. We had extra dishes, missing dishes. Result I had to start my training with 30 minutes. late and once again, the boss did not deign to come and apologize or do anything!!
On the other hand, he can be seen in the corridor and in the restaurant speaking loudly (upstairs in his office or in the dining room); discretion is an important point when looking to “raise prestige”).
I will probably not return to Clem because what I need as a professional is a relationship of trust, respect, a lot of humanity, kindness and integrity. I don't find any of my values with them and I'm sorry, especially for the old team which conveyed these values and where we felt the good atmosphere between them.
There is still one positive point: the food is good (now that doesn't transcend either, however the wallet feels good!!!)
