27/08/2026: What a pleasant surprise! A very friendly welcome, not to mention the service, a nice buffet, an interesting selection of dishes, and a bar/brasserie atmosphere, but more intimate. A highly recommended address if, like us, you're looking for a pleasant place to eat (and we didn't even see the terrace) during a road trip.

14/08/2026: CLOSED UNTIL August 24th. Is it really that hard to update your holiday hours?! It's a shame, your menu looked good. If it even exists, since there's no photo or website, that's why we went there in person, and I'm quite annoyed to find it closed for another 10 days!

04/08/2026: We stopped at this Italian restaurant during our stay in the area. We received a warm welcome, and the service was very quick. For €20, you get a set menu including a drink, main course, and dessert. It's €10 for children. My group and I tried the pizza and the pasta carbonara. Both were delicious and generously portioned. The pizza dough was undoubtedly homemade. We added a little pepper to the carbonara to enhance the flavor, but it was already good without it. And for dessert, a huge crepe with a hint of vanilla, topped with Nutella. Delicious! Our only complaint is the ambiance. It's not particularly impressive, but it's a bit too traditional. In short, a good restaurant, and we'll gladly return.

13/01/2026: I spent one night in this hotel in January 2026. The reception was cold, as was the room! We had to ask for a space heater to raise the temperature! The heat loss through the ancient single-glazed window made the situation worse! The bathroom is outdated with few amenities! The entire hotel has been stuck in the past for generations; of course, some may like that, but neglecting guest comfort is unacceptable at this price! To make matters worse, there's a lack of trust! In fact, I left a sweater in the room and it wasn't returned!!! In conclusion, a hotel to absolutely avoid!

03/01/2026: We were passing through and had lunch at the restaurant, and it was a truly wonderful discovery. Elegance and refinement are the words that come to mind; the dishes were simply an explosion of flavors, beautifully presented. The waiter was lovely and explained the menu very well. I highly recommend it for anyone who truly wants to enjoy quality food. I had the tasting menu for €49.

15/04/2026: We chose a 4-star hotel hoping for a good night's sleep. But here, it's impossible to sleep with the room at 27-28 degrees Celsius. The air conditioning doesn't work in April, or at least the manager refuses to turn it on (it's a centralized system), and it's impossible to sleep with the window open because the highway is right next door. In short, two horrible nights and unhelpful staff. We had a child with us who didn't sleep at all, and it completely ruined his visit to Futuroscope. I only gave it two stars because the breakfast was good. Avoid this hotel!

13/04/2026: I am very disappointed with this hotel. It's not a 4-star hotel! No toiletries in the bathroom (makeup remover pads, cotton swabs, etc.). The cup was a cardboard one (a glass one would be better). The carpet was in poor condition. And the restaurant is awful!!! What does 4 stars even mean? When you stay in this type of hotel, you expect good service. What a shame!

28/08/2026: I had lunch here two days in a row, returning on the second day because I was so satisfied with the food and the atmosphere. François's mother usually takes the orders, and she takes care of preparing the dishes. It's an authentic place, run by people who live and love their city, and they've tried to create a lunchtime hotspot for locals and those, like me, just passing through. Thank you very much, I promise I'll learn French!

29/08/2026: One star because zero is not an option. I don't know where to begin. The veranda and tables weren't cleaned, and the "Chicago" sandwich of the day was only available with two meats and spicy. To make a two-meat sandwich as advertised, you need two meats, so why can't you order a one-meat sandwich? Oh, and the price... And let's not even talk about the undercooked, oil-soaked nuggets. A complete disaster...

14/08/2026: You order a €15 dish and you don't even get a little rice to go with it!!! And when I call them, they tell me, "We have to make a living!" €15 for a dish with three tiny pieces of meat chasing each other, and they tell me, "We have to make a living," as if a little rice is going to kill their profit margin! Unbelievable!

22/03/2026: Disappointed. And it's a real shame because we're used to getting pizzas from the vending machine. I love the Charolais, which is usually always well-topped, but this time! What a disaster! I'm looking for the meat on my pizza! Not cool, especially considering the price of pizzas!

07/09/2026: A Poitiers institution! I've been coming here for over 20 years. The pizzas are recognizable by their crispy crust, and the toppings are just right with good ingredients. I highly recommend it! 🥰

31/08/2026: I've never eaten better pizzas than those at La Royale. I used to go there with my dad when I was little, and now, whenever I'm in the area, I get takeout. My recommendations: the Montagnarde, the Alaska, the Classique, and the Tex Mex. Always a friendly staff! 👍👍

29/07/2026: We had a kebab and a taco. A few hours later, my friend and I both developed stomach pains. The result was food poisoning, vomiting, and gastric problems. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
