16/09/2024: We took this accommodation to go to Futuroscope. A little far from it but the setting is very relaxing and very beautiful. The staff takes great care, we had this room with a Wonderbox with breakfast included and it was really a very good start to the vacation for us. The lagoon is magnificent. We will come back thank you again 😍

21/08/2024: This is our go-to place when it comes to Chinese food. In my opinion the best Chinese cuisine in the area. Always smooth and friendly service, both when taking away and eating on site in the restaurant. You get large portions so you won't go home hungry 😁. Lunch and the menus are also highly recommended!

29/08/2024: Very disappointing overall. In general, and compared to a first, older stay. Room on the extremely noisy street overlooking a very busy road (in particular a lot of trucks), and on top of that, during periods of high heat, absolutely stifling to the point of being downright unbearable (a small wheezy fan very insufficient to freshen it up a bit!). The icing on the cake: the toilet handle in the room was broken and didn't work. And all this for... 120 euros (without breakfast included), and with countless steps to climb to reach the room, moderately decorated and comfortable. Frankly, the old character of the building and its possible "stache" does not justify everything, and the welcome in these conditions gives the impression of making fun of the customer. To escape this noisy and unbreathable hell, we could possibly rent rooms on the garden side, but for around 200 euros.... Another disappointment: the breakfast, very ordinary and basic, much less satisfactory than during our first stay. a few years ago. The only positive point: the beautiful park and the beautiful swimming pool. Disappointment and indignation, therefore.

25/07/2024: Unique setting for eating. On the wall a collection of all kinds of knight attributes, books, kitschy light elements: you will be amazed. Menu very clear: limited number of table chairs which created an intimate atmosphere. House aperitif, appetizers: everything slightly different but no less tasty! Friendly husband-wife team who seem to prepare everything together on the spot. The food came out a bit too quickly in our opinion, which made it seem a bit rushed, but that was the only downside during this unique restaurant experience. Reservations are a must but they respond quickly by email. Recommended!

30/08/2024: A superb traditional French restaurant with excellent quality food at reasonable prices. The view is breathtaking when you sit on the banks of the Vienne on their beautiful terrace surrounded by orange vines. Our oyster starter was the best I've ever had. The waitress is lovely and friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
