23/08/2026: I just arrived in Saint Benoît. I went to buy some bread and pastries, and the owner showed her employee the small slice she wanted me to take, probably because I'm not one of her regular customers. Well, indeed, I never will be! You brief your staff before the sale, not in front of the customers.

16/08/2026: Superb restaurant and snack bar overlooking the lake. Very friendly, with pleasant and efficient staff. Drinks and light snacks available during the day, and a restaurant serving lunch and dinner.

14/08/2026: Had a delicious summer salad made with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. The bread was just about okay, a bit dry. Drinks were reasonably priced. The waitress was a bit grumpy but nice and direct. Will ask if everything tasted good next time?

Now, let's talk about the cream puffs, which are the tip of the iceberg; even the passengers of the Titanic would have choked, not with laughter…

17/08/2026: A pleasant and welcoming place, the staff are very kind and attentive. The portions are generous and the food is delicious; I highly recommend it. Their attentiveness to children is a real bonus for us, thank you! While on holiday here, it's a shame we don't have such a lovely place back home. All the best to you.

12/07/2026: Great stay.. fantastic pool and brilliant area for sitting with a drink/breakfast tray. We stayed in the suite with two small children. We were warned that it had stairs in but it was perfect for us and a travel cot and bed for toddler were provided. Wine was quite expensive but otherwise a perfect stay. Many thanks.

05/05/2026: I particularly enjoyed the restaurant. The dishes are creative and delicious, as always. A special mention goes to the recipes using fresh ingredients with their exquisitely prepared flavors. A pure delight every time.

26/08/2026: We had a late lunch, and the waitress was pleasant, efficient, and attentive! (My father dropped a fork, and she came to replace it within a minute without asking—a thoughtful touch!) The food was also excellent (the Welsh rarebit was superb), and the price was very reasonable. Thank you!

14/06/2026: The meal wasn't particularly surprising, but the choice of local producers was commendable (the beef came from the village and was excellent). However, we were disappointed because we ordered the tasting menu and saw that the tables around us were receiving amuse-bouches while we weren't. Thinking it was an oversight, we mentioned it when paying the bill, and we were told it was normal because we each had a glass of wine as an aperitif, which they don't consider an aperitif, so we weren't entitled to the amuse-bouches! This is the first time we've ever been told that in a restaurant... So, if one of us had ordered a glass of wine and the other a cocktail, only one of us would have received the amuse-bouches? ... A strange way of looking at things.

25/05/2026: Located right next to the EV 3, we enjoyed an excellent, reasonably priced lunch menu. Bicycles and luggage could be left outside. The service was efficient and attentive.

18/09/2026: Orders took a long time to be served even though there was no one there. Tables were very dirty and the bins were overflowing.

16/09/2026: We ordered the large meal deal and received ridiculously empty bags of fries and open drink lids, resulting in some spillage. Disappointed

03/05/2026: A lovely little restaurant. Reservations are required in advance, and they accept dogs on the terrace. As the weather was improving, we were kindly offered a table inside, alone in a small room. A very thoughtful gesture indeed. The service was a bit slow for the main courses. I recommend the Chauvinois burger and the half duck breast. However, the beef dish was rather bland; tasty but lacking in sauce.

14/04/2026: Lunch on the way back from vacation, so unplanned... no problem finding something to eat. Excellent restaurant. Welcoming. Offers set menus at lunchtime on weekdays.
