12/04/2026: We came for lunch at this highly rated restaurant. The welcome was friendly. We were seated in a room upstairs. The €16 set lunch menu, including a starter and main course, was more than enough. The portions were generous and delicious. The service was quite quick despite the large number of customers. It's a great place to eat in this pretty village. We ate for under €40 for two people. Very good.

23/04/2026: A very good experience with the daily special: hanger steak with pepper sauce and fries. The meat was excellent, cooked to perfection, and the sauce was delicious. The dessert, floating islands, was good but nothing special. Good value for money. I recommend it, and the service was friendly.

13/04/2026: Terrible click and parking service!!! Orders are written down and say "a crew member will bring it to you," but 20 minutes later they bring it back. The food is cold, and the staff arrives in an unapologetic, indifferent, and arrogant manner! The cleanliness wasn't great to begin with, but if this click and parking service continues, this McDonald's will eventually go under…

08/04/2026: There are always mistakes with drive-thru orders, and it doesn't look like that's going to change anytime soon… They put in Maxi Best Ofs instead of Best Ofs, deduct loyalty points from the previous order, and the manager tells us there's nothing he can do, even though the app says the opposite! It's the only McDonald's around… luckily for them.

30/12/2025: We went for a drink. It was really pleasant, the place is sublime and the staff at Balto are very friendly.

05/09/2025: A restaurant that keeps its promise: homemade cuisine (the fries are a delight). Perfect welcome, elaborate and delicious dishes. A surprise at the end of the meal for my birthday. I highly recommend it.

08/07/2025: We came to spend some quality time with the girls for our friend's bachelorette party, and it was perfect. We were able to schedule it as we had other activities. The food was delicious and the value for money was incredible. Thank you for the experience.

07/02/2026: We were charged €80 for 20 shots, while the colleague next to us offered them for €10 each. Perhaps they should review their prices? Or maybe they should stop ripping off young students? The waiter was very rude and refused to discuss the matter. We asked two different colleagues the price of 20 shots, and they both quoted us prices under €40. This bar is best avoided, especially if you're a young student.

02/02/2026: Le Méphisto is a bit of a refuge for those evenings when you want to forget you're in Saint-Quentin without actually leaving Saint-Quentin: a real pub atmosphere, a lively crowd, music, and a beer selection that almost makes you feel like you're traveling without even getting up from your stool. The pros: a huge selection of draft and bottled beers, live music/DJs, pool, darts, a great, lively atmosphere, and lots of regulars, giving it the feel of a local hangout. The cons: often very crowded, a bit noisy, and sometimes there's a wait at the bar, so it's best avoided if you're looking for peace and quiet or an intimate conversation. In short, it's not just another bar; it's where Saint-Quentin proves it still knows how to party: highly recommended if you love pubs, beer, and nights that rarely end on time.

29/03/2026: I ate oysters but was very, very disappointed. I spent the evening on the toilet and vomited, so I seriously doubt the freshness of these oysters. Very disappointed. The rest was just plain bad; I've had much better.

14/03/2026: For several years, we used to come to this restaurant. Unfortunately, what was once a pleasant place has become a huge disappointment. The prices are now completely excessive and absolutely unjustified. Paying so much for a buffet whose quality has clearly declined is hardly acceptable. The drop in quality is blatant, and the overall impression is that we're paying more and more for less and less.
