08/03/2026: I just left this restaurant. I was guided by Google reviews, and well, I was completely ripped off. The prices are excessive compared to the rather poor quality of service. So either the establishment lowers its prices or the servers need to undergo premium training (and I used to be a waiter, so I know what I'm talking about). I ordered a ribeye steak for €50. They asked me how I wanted it cooked, but didn't offer me any sauces. They automatically gave me ketchup and mayo in plastic bottles. At the end of the meal, I asked the waiter why I wasn't offered other sauces. He told me it was listed at the bottom of the menu and that it was up to the customer to ask. His manager washed his hands of everything and gave me the same answer. Yes, it was listed at the bottom, but you have to see it to believe it. The waiter did the bare minimum, and the manager turned a deaf ear. I ordered a glass of wine, but I didn't receive a carafe of water or bread. I often go to steakhouses in Geneva, so the prices are quite high, but the service is excellent. At Le Petit Palais, the prices are too high, and the service is subpar. You might as well eat at Buffalo Bill's and get the same experience. For one person, it cost €60 (a ribeye steak and a glass of wine). If you want to treat yourself with quality service, don't go to this restaurant; go somewhere else. For the same price, you can find much better.

26/03/2025: Walked past this Cafe and just loved the look of the menu and the outdoor seating! The waitress was so honestly lovely and I ended up coming all three days that I stayed in Nice because I wanted to try more of the menu! Also a great place to sit outside and read a book. Pictured is the Croque Madame and the Salmon Bagel with a Matcha. I also had the Açai Smoothie Bowl. Honestly all three were great and presented so well. I would recommend the Croque Madame though, it was delicious and that salad is so fresh! If you want a good coffee and a meal, definitely recommend this Cafe. Be warned it will be pretty busy on a sunny day so get in early!

23/03/2025: Arriving at 2:20 p.m., we were seated at a table for four, even though there were five of us. We waited 20 minutes before ordering our drinks and food. The wine glasses weren't wiped, and the order was mistakenly served at 3:10 p.m. The missing dish was served 10 minutes later, cold and frozen, with no apology. The overall condition of the restaurant was poor: exposed sockets, signs of leaks in the ceiling, and the kitchen and restrooms were deplorable. Avoid! A warning to hygiene inspectors...

11/12/2025: Bingo night with friends. A great time, good entertainment, and the rum punches were delicious and refreshing.

11/12/2025: The long-haired bartender is condescending; he ignores customers he doesn't like. A shame, very unprofessional.

14/03/2026: In my opinion, the best pizza in Nice. The crust is thin, the toppings are fresh. A real treat. Well done! 👏

26/02/2026: This restaurant, with its enticing name and old-fashioned charm, quickly disappoints! The ingredients aren't really high quality, and the pizza leaves you with a heavy feeling in your stomach. The industrial dressing in the Italian salad is completely out of place. In short, rather disappointed, and the only positive point is that the service is fairly quick.

09/03/2026: Stopped by for a quick drink. There was a sign on the door saying no card payments. Friendly barman. Quirky film posters and cultural artifacts decorating the inside.

13/02/2026: A delightful discovery opposite the Archet Hospital. Well hidden. Outdoor terrace in a garden, large indoor dining room with views of the garden on one side and Nice on the other. Fresh, high-quality cuisine. Superb, warm, and very friendly service. Pure pleasure!

06/02/2026: For us, being from Nice, this restaurant was a true rediscovery. If you like club sandwiches, mayonnaise sandwiches, or anything else you love, this is an extraordinary place not to be missed!

14/02/2026: 40 euros for undercooked fish with pepper, two slices of vegetables and a spoon of mached machrooms. There were no sauce.

13/02/2026: Very disappointed by the contents of the plate. The meat was too salty, so I had to ask for more vegetables, which were charged extra. As for the wine served by the glass, no information was given, and the bottle was hidden. There was no menu; you chose from a chalkboard. No value for money, and the reviews don't match. Only three tables were occupied at 1:15 PM? The welcome was unfriendly, with no smile or thank you upon leaving. The owner, in a t-shirt and sneakers, should really reconsider his approach. Once is enough!

06/02/2026: Bad! French Fries were a little bit wet and tasted like old cheese.

12/01/2026: Ordered a sandwich with cheese and sauce but received it without via Deliveroo on January 12th, and they refused a refund. Keep it up, you're already sinking. €15 for a dry sandwich without cheese? Seriously?

22/04/2025: The sushi here is very fresh and delicious. The restaurant is clean and hygienic. I will come back with my family again.
