It all depends on my budget... and don't even bother trying to learn French... we're customers, just like their community, you can see the difference... and the welcome... we're not at home, it's a joke! I'm French, from Nice... I can see the difference... where's the tolerance? The welcome needs improvement... ...

25/08/2026: On vacation in Nice for four days, we were looking for a REAL Asian restaurant and stumbled upon this Vietnamese place. So, 4.1 is definitely not the rating it deserves because, for me, it's authentic and unpretentious, so I'd give it 5 stars. I'm of Cambodian origin, and I can guarantee that it's really good. In fact, they were full tonight, and they held our table even though we were 20 minutes late coming back from Monaco. The waiters are lovely, and it's nice to feel so welcome. Good job!

10/01/2026: We were a party of five for New Year’s Eve dinner and had a wonderful time. Lovely, attentive service, a relaxed atmosphere, and amazing food. We never felt rushed, which made the evening even more enjoyable. A perfect spot in the Old Town. Thank you!

29/12/2025: We had cod and pork tenderloin with pistachio croquettes. Both were excellent! The cod was succulent, and the sauce was very flavorful without overpowering the fish. The pork tenderloin was beautifully grilled and glazed. The fish was served with a wonderfully lemony polenta. Everything was very well prepared. The service was attentive and courteous. A truly delightful experience! The quoted price includes a bottle of excellent wine and a glass of very good Calvados.

25/09/2026: We were there on a Saturday evening, a group of 22, among many other customers. We were all served without rushing, with professionalism and charm, especially by the waitress Maha. The food was delicious! The atmosphere by the harbor is very pleasant. We will gladly return.

25/09/2026: We came for drinks with friends, they brought us a die when the bill arrived, we rolled a 6 and left without paying. Brilliant concept!

14/09/2026: If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Don't spend your hard earned money here. We were waiting for a table for a while and no one was coming over to the line up. Since we were next in line, I went up to a server to ask if we could get seated. Then the server accused me of budging the line, even though my family was at the front of the line waiting. Then when the people behind us said we were in front of them, the server refused to believe it and started seating everyone behind us. Talk about embarrassing. Unhospitable and rude.

14/09/2026: Amazing, friendly service. The location is beautiful! It was our last night in Nice and it did not disappoint.

23/09/2026: We had a good time at lunchtime. Just one small complaint: my dessert, the duo of crepes, wasn't cooked enough. The service was excellent.

17/09/2026: All good, location very good and not too crowded service efficient and friendly. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone who’d like to eat in surroundings not swamped by crowds of tourists.

05/09/2026: The weekday lunch set is a great deal (32€) and offers meticulously prepared French cuisine. If you're in Nice, it's definitely worth a visit.

05/09/2026: Refined yet accessible cuisine. The amuse-bouches, starter, and first course were stunning. The second course (Wagyu beef) featured excellent meat, but the side dishes were standard and didn't live up to the rest of the meal (chef's tasting menu at €62). This restaurant deserves to be better known and is well on its way to achieving recognition.

08/01/2026: My wife and I have been here many times. When friends visit us in Nice, we ALWAYS bring them to Oliviera. One of our favorites dining experiences in all of France. (And we've spent move the 1,000 night in France) Always fresh ingredients, well used in delicious dishes. It's in the tourist area but the food is the way the Niçoise eat (if they are a good cook). No CC bring cash. And buy some olive oil.

01/01/2026: My husband and I seemingly walking into Oliviera in Nice while we were on vacation. We have walked randomly into resturants many times before but this was a once in a lifetime experience for us. Sadly, I don't believe we will ever have experience food like this before. This happened almost 2 years ago! The food, the olive oil, the owner, the overall experience still sticks with us. I can't wait to go back one day with our daughter (who is only 1 years old right now).

11/07/2026: A very bad experience. I realized after paying that the burger, fries, and drink had been charged separately instead of being included in a meal deal, resulting in a higher bill than expected. When I went back to the register to ask for an explanation and a refund, I was met with a very unpleasant response, with no attempt at self-reflection. Furthermore, the drinks I received weren't even the ones we had ordered. Mistakes can happen, but this lack of professionalism and respect is unacceptable. I do not recommend this establishment.

30/08/2026: We've always had a great time here, the owner is always very kind! Excellent raw artichoke salad and peppered fillet steak.
