09/09/2024: All of her creations are beautiful and delicious! From the number cake, to the cake design (where she creates wonders: for my part she made us a 100% Nissart design cake and an edible handbag), to the Christmas logs (which are just succulent and light incredible), everything is incredible! In addition, Marie really listens to her customers' expectations, she also gives very good advice when you have any doubts! A super pastry chef who you can trust 100% Thank you for all your beautiful and delicious creations!

02/09/2024: The only one who was kind enough to make me a pretty cake on the theme chosen by my 3 year old, a week before the big day at the end of August. And frankly… for a pretty cake, we found it to be fine. A great find that will follow us for future occasions!

30/07/2024: The food was tasty, good portion. Steak with pepper sauce is highly recommended. Asked twice about something, but nothing was done. Shame

18/07/2024: Wonderful lunch! We happened to be passing en route to Evrlst record store and noticed it was popular and the ‘steak frites’ looked good so we decided to come back for lunch… so glad we did! The special was Pave de boeuf with frites, delicious and such good value. My husband had the tuna nicoise, much better than other more expensive establishments in old town. The pizza was also good and the local rose wine was the best I had during my week in Nice. Pleasant, efficient service at great prices, highly recommended!

20/11/2024: Estoy encantado de no leer las malas críticas antes de que tuvimos el almuerzo aquí! Elegimos este restaurante por el entorno precioso de la terraza (a pesar de los gorriones y la paloma extraña) y porque el menú fijo por 19 €. 50 se veía genial - - como de hecho era. Tuvimos el salmón con arroz y verduras, todo lo cual era muy sabroso y suficiente para el almuerzo, a menos que tengas mucha hambre. Vino con cuatro excelentes panecillos, una pequeña copa de vino cada uno (teníamos blanco, que venía perfectamente refrigerado) y una jarra de agua del grifo, también refrigerada. Lo seguimos con tarta de queso, deliciosa y muy bien presentada, que fue el postre especial del día. El personal era amable y atento y no nos apresuró. (Probablemente si tienes prisa, este no es el lugar al que ir, aunque no sentimos que esperáramos - mucho tiempo para nada.) Definitivamente tenemos la intención de regresar.

22/09/2024: Muy popular menú de almuerzo con una pequeña selección sabrosa, incluyendo una copa de vino que se puede reponer a un costo muy razonable. Buen servicio.

13/08/2024: We sat down there to eat breakfast. We waited quite a while before a waitress approached us and presented two menu-cards in French. When I immediately asked if they had an English menu available, the answer was "No." Nothing like, "can I help you to explain what the different dishes are? or anything, just "No.". So we went somewhere else. Didn´t feel welcome, and it didn´t look like they tried to make an effort to have us as customers.

05/08/2024: The service was very bad! After ordering, I had to go and ask them to provide us plates, then I went again for napkins. However, the ambience and atmosphere was pleasant.

26/03/2025: Walked past this Cafe and just loved the look of the menu and the outdoor seating! The waitress was so honestly lovely and I ended up coming all three days that I stayed in Nice because I wanted to try more of the menu! Also a great place to sit outside and read a book. Pictured is the Croque Madame and the Salmon Bagel with a Matcha. I also had the Açai Smoothie Bowl. Honestly all three were great and presented so well. I would recommend the Croque Madame though, it was delicious and that salad is so fresh! If you want a good coffee and a meal, definitely recommend this Cafe. Be warned it will be pretty busy on a sunny day so get in early!

23/03/2025: Arriving at 2:20 p.m., we were seated at a table for four, even though there were five of us. We waited 20 minutes before ordering our drinks and food. The wine glasses weren't wiped, and the order was mistakenly served at 3:10 p.m. The missing dish was served 10 minutes later, cold and frozen, with no apology. The overall condition of the restaurant was poor: exposed sockets, signs of leaks in the ceiling, and the kitchen and restrooms were deplorable. Avoid! A warning to hygiene inspectors...

25/09/2024: Honestly, most of the reviews are false, I think, or else there are problems somewhere, it's not possible. It's a tourist trap. The service is hypeeeeer long while the restaurant is almost empty. The waiters get the order wrong. The minimalist menu makes us think it’s a high-end restaurant but brings us pasta that we make with the leftovers in the fridge. And the children's menus are clearly nonsense with white pasta without anything...no sauce or accompaniment, not even any Cheese you had to ask for! In short, there is so much better in Nice. And for a lot less expensive because the prices are high on top of that. I won't go back there.

24/09/2024: Very very disappointed with this restaurant which had a good reputation. I don’t really question the quality of the dishes (and even so…) but it’s the quantity on the plates! We come out hungry after an aperitif, a starter and a main course! The service is just passable, 45 minutes of waiting between a starter and a main course. And for the price paid, the smile would not have cost me more! Go on your way! I will give you better addresses on rue Bonaparte!

21/09/2024: Good evening, We went there as two couples in the evening. The men were drooling over the 600 g of Châteaubriant à la carte and hoping to have a feast but had a nervous laugh when they saw the meat arrived (you should probably have your kitchen scales checked^^); we were not far from 600 g... and dare I mention the 6 small rigatoni (placed very delicately by the waiter that said) which fought a duel? The sole for 2 for the women was hardly more plentiful… Overall, however, it was very good but we were particularly disappointed by the small portions and the absolutely ridiculous prorated price: €300 for 4 with 4 aperitifs, 2 starters, 4 main courses and 2 desserts… without being full at the end :- / Friendly atmosphere and good service. It was previously one of our favorite addresses in Nice but we really became disillusioned, it’s a shame!

05/10/2024: Hit the market, take a seat at Receta and people watch while eating delicious Nicoise food. Marcos and the other gentleman were great hosts. We stopped by two days in a row and left very happy. The lasagna was amazing, don't miss out

14/12/2024: Un très joli cadre pour un brunch, un vrai ou bien un déjeuner entre amis ou en solo. La carte présente un large choix de mets sucrés, salés et de boissons chaudes, froides. Les prix sont corrects car c'est très bon. Un tout petit bémol, les tables sont petites si vous avez plusieurs assiettes.

23/11/2024: El almuerzo que me dieron fue muy bueno. Y era comida más que suficiente. Todos tienen un menú a la carta. El personal era amable. Y para un Scandihooligan era agradable que hablaran inglés.

17/09/2024: Very disappointed by this restaurant order taken and after 1 hour of waiting, still not served, I had to leave without eating

01/10/2024: We ate dinner at this restaurant on 9/26/24. First, there was a loud knocking sound coming from an area near our table, we were tired from traveling and therefore did not want to complain. We both ordered filet mignon, medium. The plates came, with a mashed potato side. My steak was cooked properly, however my partner’s steak was raw. Upon returning it, about ten minutes passed, and when we flagged down the waitress, she looked at us as if to say ‘I forgot’. She brought the steak back to the table with a new plate of mashed potatoes, both items were cold and to top it off the steak was still raw. We told her that it was the same as when we returned it originally. She offered to buy us dessert, which we did not want and then offered us a glass of wine , which we did not want. A reputable restaurant would have taken the steak off the bill. They did not. Our bill was 127 Euros which included drinks. We were extremely disappointed and would not recommend the restaurant at all.

24/09/2024: Dinner on the enclosed terrace last night was excellent. We had gazpacho and petits farcis nicois for starters. Both were favorable and generous. We both followed with sole meuniere, boned expertly tableside. It was delicious and accompanied with excellent small vegetables and mashed potatoes. The short wine list is well chosen and priced correctly. I recommend it.

31/08/2024: Pizzas, lasagna, burgers... Everything is excellent! I'm a regular at the restaurant and it's not for nothing: the dishes are very good, the setting is friendly, the staff is very kind and professional, go there with your eyes closed, you won't regret it!

30/08/2024: The quality of the meals was great! Speed ​​at the top! The only problem is the waitress's final remark (brown ponytail) which clearly turned on my husband! Asking her openly that if she agreed to take her bank card what did she get in exchange! (because we always play a game of who will pay for each other) there were 4 of us and I think she probably shouldn't not knowing it was my husband but it's still very cheeky.
