04/08/2026: We were in Nice city centre without a plan or reservation on a Monday night 22h. Was kindly received as last wave of guests calmly and without pressure. Was served by Juliette herself. Not a tourist trap. Was kind waiters and good food. Happy my dog was fully welcomed. A lucky find. Coq au vin was delicious. Taste of south also night and light (but still filling) on hot summer evening. Atmosphere good at restaurant but area very full and touristy.

19/05/2026: Absolute gem!! Meals made fresh and home cooked, generous portions and great prices. Highly recommend for an authentic Nice experience and food.

17/04/2026: Brilliant family run restaurant offering really tasty proper home cooked food. We had a lovely lunch here. The staff were so friendly and helpful and it has a really nice friendly atmosphere. Escape the tourist trap restaurants and go to this authentic gem - you'll not be disappointed!

11/08/2026: A beautiful view, but unfortunately neither the food nor the service lived up to expectations. We came to this restaurant for lunch as a family on August 11th. We chose this establishment primarily for its beautiful setting, overlooking the sea, and we naturally expected the food to live up to the location. I ordered a Caesar salad and was unfortunately very disappointed. At the end of the meal, the curly-haired waitress, who also took our bill when we left, came to clear the table and asked me if I had enjoyed the meal. I simply and honestly replied that I hadn't, explaining why. The hard-boiled eggs didn't seem fresh and gave the impression that they hadn't been prepared that day. The tomato was cut into pieces that were far too large, and, above all, it was the dressing that particularly disappointed me: it clearly tasted like mayonnaise, which overpowered the dish and completely ruined it. A Caesar salad doesn't contain mayonnaise: if mayonnaise becomes the main ingredient in the dressing, for me, it's simply not a real Caesar salad anymore. (After eating this salad, I also felt unwell.) I explained this to her. I also pointed out that it was a real shame, because the setting is magnificent, with that view of the sea, and that we had come as a family hoping to find cuisine worthy of the location, and not just a restaurant taking advantage of its touristy position. That's when the waitress's reaction particularly shocked me. Instead of simply acknowledging a customer's comment, she became very agitated and raised her voice. When I finally told her that, given this experience, we wouldn't be returning, she replied very curtly: "It's not a big deal!" “ That’s precisely the problem: if you ask a customer at the end of the meal if everything was alright, you have to accept that they might answer honestly if it wasn’t. You can’t ask the question and then get angry because the answer isn’t what you wanted to hear. And when you work in the restaurant industry, a comment about a dish can be heard, explained, or even politely challenged, but certainly not turned into a confrontation with the customer. This same waitress was then the one who took our payment at the end, which unfortunately left a particularly unpleasant final impression. In the end, we felt like we had eaten poorly, paid a lot, and, on top of that, were verbally attacked simply for giving our honest opinion. €80 for such an experience is extremely disappointing.” It's a real shame, because the setting is superb and the beachfront location could make it a truly wonderful place. But a beautiful setting isn't enough: we also expect quality cuisine and, above all, a professional and respectful welcome. For our family, this will unfortunately be a first and last visit.

17/03/2026: I went for a drink at Le Perlonne and it was a pleasant surprise! Nice atmosphere, with mostly tech music that creates a nice vibe for chilling with friends 🍸 A cool spot to start or continue the evening at a relaxed pace.

24/06/2026: Arrived at 1pm on a weekday and fortunate to be seated immediately. Some people who arrived after had to queue for some time outside. Food: Ordered the miso beef ramen. It's my first time having beef char siew and it was not bad. I would probably enjoy it more if the beef were sliced thinner but it's just a personal preference. The broth was reasonably tasty, but too salty for me and I had to dilute it with water. They are heavy-handed on sesame seeds and shallots so people who don't enjoy that should ask for it to be omitted. Not sure if it's related, but I usually don't get thirsty (I struggle to meet my daily water intake on a daily basis) and was INTENSELY thirsty shortly after this meal.

19/06/2026: Best ramen I’ve had in a long time! Delicious and the fried chicken is amazing!! I truly recommend coming by specially if you are tired of pizza/pasta. And the staff was friendly and understood my broken French. Appreciated!

07/07/2026: I was looking for a typical brasserie, a place open year-round for lunch, not a tourist trap, and I was won over: a superbly run establishment, everything is spotless, from the welcome, the service, the quality and quantity of the food, to the restrooms and the bill! Thank you. I highly recommend it.

03/07/2026: We received a warm welcome from the owner and had a very good meal. The dishes were delicious and the portions generous. Everything was brought to us without us having to ask (water, bread, and especially butter). Excellent value for money for this working-class restaurant. If we visit the area again, we will definitely eat there again.

04/06/2026: It's delicious. From the stylish interior to the menu made with photos taken individually by hand, everything is great. Seeing that there are many Asian customers inside, it seems like a popular spot. I haven't eaten pho many times, so I don't have much to compare it to, but I really enjoyed the meal. If you can't eat cilantro, please ask them to leave it out from the start. A small amount is added to the dish when it comes out. 😁😁

17/05/2026: The food was okay, but the service was terrible! When my friend and I asked if there was Wi-Fi, the staff didn't consult us, simply pushing aside the dishes on the table and pointing to a password written under the glass, telling us to find it ourselves. The restaurant was quite crowded, and when a staff member asked me to move my chair forward, they didn't ask, but instead repeatedly slapped the back of my chair in a rude manner to tell me I needed to move. I felt absolutely no respect or friendliness in this restaurant!

06/08/2026: Must visit pizza restorant. This place is a classic Nice location with delicious and big portioned foods and pizzas. So they Have half pizza service

06/08/2026: In this refined inn, imbued with the flavors of Italy, the traveler will find generous dishes and delicacies worthy of the finest restaurants. The pasta with gorgonzola, prepared with great care, delighted the palate with its exquisite taste. As for the tiramisu, a veritable feast in itself, it was served in such an abundant portion that it could have satisfied even the most hearty appetites.

05/08/2026: A very warm welcome, the service was impeccable – not too slow, not too fast. We opted for the all-you-can-eat buffet at €17 per person! There was a good selection of starters such as miso soup, coleslaw, and ink gyoza. A good selection of maki and other sushi was also available. The portions of chicken satay and green curry were very generous. Since the restaurant is in Old Nice, the outdoor tables are in a side street. Excellent value for money.

22/07/2026: The concept isn't "all-you-can-eat sushi," but "all-you-can-eat patience." Endless service, repeated oversights, nonexistent organization… and a manager more preoccupied with wandering around with his card reader than with actually moving the service forward. The entire terrace complained about the slowness and disorganization. While customers waited for water, cutlery, or their food, the manager took the time to chat and toast with a friend. A busy period happens. Not owning up to it and responding to criticism with "Don't come back here" is another story.

23/06/2026: Come here and try the fresh, authentic nice speciality- ratatouille which is red tomato sauce, zucchini onions and flavorful fresh herbs.. the pesto pasta was also wonderful. Service was friendly. They do not take credit cards so bring cash. Prices are reasonable €20 or so for a dish, they don’t serve fresh bread or salads, you come here for the pasta as entrees. One complaint- and not the restaurant’s fault- the bar across from it on this very tiny French street was playing very loud, pop dance music, which made it hard to have dinner conversation. Maybe that was just the night we came on a Sunday evening. Place got very busy around 8pm so call to make a reservation.

07/06/2026: I ordered a tuna pizza for home delivery and received a chicken pizza instead, and a 1.5L Coke brought me a small bottle...seriously?

25/05/2026: My husband and I love a good pizza from smaller shops. After our evening visit to the Chagall Museum we popped down to grab some for dinner. They worked fast to bake our take out order between the many online orders they had, which we appreciated! The pizza was a great size and an even better price! This is not a sit down establishment so be aware, but it is so worth it for an 11€ pie, highly recommend Pizza Napoli!

19/07/2026: My partner and I stumbled upon La P'tite Cocotte and we'll definitely be back! The food is incredibly delicious, the place is absolutely charming, and the service was fantastic! Thank you for a wonderful experience, and we can't wait to return!

18/07/2026: Chronicle of an Evening at "La Petite Cocotte" Let it be recorded for posterity, on this eighteenth day of July, in the year of our Lord two thousand and twenty-six, the faithful and detailed account of our visit to the august establishment known as "La Petite Cocotte." We were received there this evening by a middle-aged lady and her son, who seemed—subject to further investigation—to be jointly providing service. When questioned with all due courtesy as to whether she owned the premises, the lady initially answered in the affirmative, then changed her mind to no, before returning to yes, and finally to no again—a hesitant dance that suggests the question of ownership remains, for the lady herself, a mystery as profound as it is unfathomable. After the appetizer, we were politely asked to remove our knives and forks from our plates, on the pretext that keeping them would have signified our intention to continue eating—a custom we ourselves would gladly have observed, but which, given that the establishment was only hosting three guests that evening, could easily have accommodated a spare set of cutlery, if needed. The son, for his part, remained glued to his phone throughout the entire meal, his eyes fixed on a football broadcast, and one can reasonably doubt that he would have understood French, even if he had been addressed in that language. The ensuing conversation was, without a doubt, one of the most soporific we have ever had the misfortune to endure. Next came the vegetarian burger, certainly worthy of being recorded in the annals of culinary absurdity: a thick slice of cheese topped—counted with almost notary-like precision by the kitchen staff—with two caramelized onions and, as Markus observed, three diced tomatoes, which, it seemed, constituted the entire justification for the label "vegetarian." The cheese, so generous that it appeared to be a prime cut, forced the diner to swallow half of it in one gulp, unable to chew it properly. These burgers were sent back to the kitchen, practically untouched, where murmurs could be heard, though no comment was ever returned to us. We now await the chocolate dessert, not without some legitimate apprehension as to its exact composition. Thus ended—or rather, thus continues—this absolutely memorable evening at "La Petite Cocotte."

28/06/2026: I recommend with confidence. Pleasant and quiet atmosphere. Very good food, especially the pizza products. Prices ok.

05/06/2026: I convinced my wife to walk here with me on our last night in Nice after packing. Our forecasted G-maps walk of 20 minutes ended up as 30 minutes due to a missed turn, but the Truffle Pizza we shared along with the Tiramisu were well worth the 1.6+ mile walk from our hotel. Surely this was our best dining experience while staying down by Park Phoenix and Grand Arenas.
