15/09/2024: Best restaurant in Nice: products, menu, wines.

11/09/2024: Service-choice of wine not functional. No wine list, not even a shelf where you can choose the bottle, but only a history of empty bottles which however are not available. I asked for a bottle and was denied because it was only by reservation, ok I can understand... the manager arrives at the table with 3 really poor bottles... I drove hours on the motorway for you because you were recommended to me by friends and then drank mediocre wine? I'm not the type... wine is my passion and it's also my job.... If you care about drinking good wine in a good glass, this is not the place for you. The glasses are really bad. How can you still serve kagami, bernaudeau and other wine greats in those children's glasses in 2024? The food isn't too bad although when I went out I had stomach problems and reflux all day. I'm sorry because I had high expectations which however were not met. If you are a wine passionate I think there are many other destinations in Nice.

22/08/2024: I walk past it every day and always see it full, there's a reason. Handy brasserie, good food and friendly and pleasant service. Good prices for Nice.

25/09/2024: We were excited to try this place, as it came highly recommended by locals as a favorite dining spot. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we had hoped for. The food was simply disappointing. My husband’s Coq au Vin was lacking sauce, and my duck was tough and rubbery-inedible, although I will say the jus for the duck was tasty. On a positive note, the ambiance was lovely, filled with character and charming decor. However, that wasn’t enough to ignore that the service was lacking. We felt, the staff seemed aware of the issues with the food, as they barely made eye contact and didn't inquire about our uneaten meals. They just grabbed the plates and threw the bill on our table. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this restaurant.

20/09/2024: Decent food for two, inedible for the third; cold cod and greasy and soft fries. Not an apology from the waiter. Busy place in the heart of Nice, we felt like we were sitting on an assembly line. Not recommended.

21/02/2024: The waiter was extremely cold and rude. As I came through the door I was greeted with a cold hello. Then when asked a fresh mint tea I got a tea with mint. I called nicely the waiter who was rude about it and didn’t even apologise for his mistake.

30/08/2024: Bad cuisine, served unsold dishes from previous days. Porchetta without meat or rind but a slice of stuffed liver and blood sausage hidden under a handful of mesclun, for this restaurant, porchetta served is ONLY stuffed, reheated, salted, same as the stew. This became a very bad food, waste of money, a place where tourists get scammed. Very bad food, what left over from days before because couldnt be sold and the owner couldnt consume it themselves so get reheated, get very salty. Roast pork only with stuffing and not one piece of roast meat nor skin as a Porchetta supposed to be.

17/09/2024: Incredible spot to go out to eat. Generous portion sizes, friendly staff, good vibes, and amazing food that is out of this world. The braised duck and the frog legs in particular were full flavoured, juicy, tender, and left you full but you wish you could keep eating them.

27/09/2024: This restaurant was an overall disappointment! The reviews were great and the photos of the food looked good, but the flavors were just one note. I’ve both eaten and worked in Mexican restaurants around the globe from Mexico City to New York, Barcelona and London so i consider myself well versed in Mexican cuisine. And unfortunately this place just missed the mark I had the chicken enchiladas with mole which was oddly served with two sides of rice and nothing else. A little white Mexican queso like cotija could’ve brought this dish to life. Maybe some crema, guacamole or pico de gallo would’ve been a nice compliment. Maybe even some refried beans instead of two portions of rice with one dish. That was bizarre! We also had beef tacos and beef enchiladas and we all thought every dish was underwhelming. Also, for what it was, it was rather expensive.

24/09/2024: Great discovery during an evening with friends, if the service and atmosphere are efficient and friendly, the cuisine is good but quite neutral.

09/08/2024: Very clean little store where you really find everything you are looking for, diversified with the post office, very professional and welcoming staff.

21/08/2024: Nous avons souhaité découvrir le bar de l'hôtel le nouveau Victoria Secret bar. Quelle déception ! Un véritable attrape touristes ! Les belles photos de la terrasse avec la piscine ne reflètent pas du tout la réalité. La terrasse n'est accessible qu'aux clients qui veulent dîner. Pour boire un verre les clients se retrouvent coincés derrière les cheminées..., pas d'air, une chaleur étouffante.Et si vous souhaitez dîner les plats à la carte sont également des attrapes touristes : 29€ la tomate/mozzarella. Et accueil ... Froid et long. Heureusement que les cocktails n'étaient pas mauvais à 18€...Passez votre chemin. Il y a d'autres toit terrasse d'hôtel haut de gamme bien plus qualitatif.

16/08/2024: endroit parfait pour boire un cocktail 🍸, un cadre magnifique qui domine tout Nice , avec une belle piscine, et une déco en collaboration avec VS tres réussite ! Les prix sont élevées mais ça vaut le coup !
