17/06/2025: I think you will see that I review a lot and rarely do I give low scores. I stopped by this morning to see if there was a drinks list with a view to visiting this evening. There were some QR codes on a notice board so I stepped into the shade to try and see my mobile phone screen in the bright sunshine. Any elder gentlemen came into the same space and said bonjour, and I responded bonjour. I thought he was some local or someone who just wanted shade . That s is 6 hours before opening time. All fine so far. The gentlemen was right next to me so I stepped out away while sorting my phone out. He then proceeded to place one of the outdoor chairs in a position to stop me going back to the notice board and shaded area. Extremely rude. I realized then that he either worked there or was the owner. There was no engagement. No asking if I needed something. If this is the greeting you get them there are plenty of other bars. Try Ma Nolans as another Irish bar. In the picture you can see the gentleman's reflection on the door to the right, making sure I don't step into his previous shade

08/12/2025: Efficient and quick service. The dish (chicken curry stir-fry) was served piping hot, and there was no wait, which was much appreciated. The presentation of the brownie (more of a soft cake, actually) could be improved. Minimalist decor. The chef cooks right in front of you in the open kitchen. It's a bit noisy because it's small, but honestly, a convenient and friendly place. Small sidewalk terrace.

During a recent stay in Nice, it was impossible not to return a second time, as the experience at Terre Del Sud was a success from beginning to end. The cuisine is simply exceptional: each dish is generous, flavorful, and reminiscent of authentic Italy, with fresh ingredients and perfectly balanced seasonings. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming; you immediately feel at home. The dining room is lively without being noisy, ideal for a romantic dinner, a meal with friends, or a family gathering. The service is impeccable: the staff is smiling, attentive, and takes the time to recommend dishes and wines, making the experience even more enjoyable. This restaurant truly makes you want to linger and, above all, return. Going twice during the same trip is almost a given, given the consistently high quality. An address to recommend without hesitation to anyone seeking a genuine Italian experience in Nice.

15/11/2025: I'm a nomad, always on the go, traveling all over France for my work, and Lou Pelandroun is, by far, the best place to eat pissaladière and pan bagnat (which I absolutely adore; just talking about it makes my mouth water). I pass through Nice two or three times a year, and it's a given that I'll stock up there because once I've shared it with my friends, they always ask for more when they know I'm passing through, lol. Thank you to the kitchen team for delighting us so much. With every bite, we can taste the care and love you put into your cooking and your customers. While this kind of artisanal and human touch in food is becoming increasingly rare these days, you keep it alive and vibrant in your dishes, and the smiles you always give us when we take our delicious meals away are just as delightful. Well done and a big THANK YOU again 👏👍☺️🙏

12/12/2025: La Barque Bleue offered a very pleasant dining experience. We had the moules marinières with fries, which were excellent! Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The cheese platter was fully acceptable and complemented the meal well. Overall a cozy spot with good food and a visit worth repeating.

09/12/2025: A highly recommended fish restaurant right in the port of Nice. Mariele served us; the staff was incredibly friendly. The wine, moules frites (mussels), loup entier (sea bass), rigatoni saumoni (pasta with salmon), and the tarte tatin (apple tart) for dessert were all superb!
