02/05/2024: I was so excited to visit this restaurant based on the reviews...and the menu! The restaurant was easy to find, Nice & clean. That's where the positivity ended. - shabu shabu was not available to order unless you order for 2 @ $45. I was ready to pay for 1, but my colleague wasn't interested - toro sashimi was unavailable Unfortunately everything I tried to order from the menu was not available as so we walked out. What seemed like a great menu / restaurant was a big let down.

01/05/2024: I went there because I wanted to eat Katsudon, but as someone who likes Japanese food, I was very disappointed with the taste. I don't know because I haven't tried other foods, but the Katsudon was very tasty. This is a restaurant where I'm not curious about other menus either.

04/05/2024: On vacation in Nice, after reading the reviews, we opted for this restaurant. Very good value for money, dishes, delicious from start to finish of the meal. Good Nice specialties, good welcome despite a large number of customers. In short, we recommend without hesitation for people who want a hearty meal and home cooking. Family atmosphere, no frills. However, reservations are preferable.

21/04/2024: Excellent bakery! The best in Nice! Complete and semi-complete baguettes are killer! But you also have to try all the seed and fruit breads, they are marvelous! All this with organic and quality flours. Not to mention the brioches, the pizzas, everything is delicious! What a joy to come and buy your bread with a friendly and cheerful team!

09/05/2024: Every year during our holidays we go to the bird bar for the quality of their food. The €22 menu is impeccable value for money. This year we had à la carte dishes. Everything lacked a little salt but it's a question of taste and the server had brought back the salt and pepper to readjust the flavors. I personally find that the dish should be a little better served in terms of quantities we are left a little hungry. As for dessert, nothing to complain about the unstructured lemon tart but the red fruit tartlet is a failure. When you want to deconstruct desserts too much, this can prove unsuccessful. 4 strawberries, whipped cream galore, tasteless mousse and an almost non-existent crumbled biscuit. I also reported this to the staff who took my remark into account and did not charge me for the dessert, thank you for your commercial gesture. We will come back.
