31/08/2024: Très bonne surprise pour moi. Je ne m'attendais pas à une telle qualité des plats. J'ai particulièrement aimé la raviole aux champignons, le thon était très bon aussi. Des goûts super, fins, équilibrés. Des assiettes bien servies. Un service agréable, peut-être un tout petit peu trop lent à mon goût entre les différents plats. Un bel endroit aussi. J'y retourne dès que je peux !

24/08/2024: De l'accueil à la sortie en passant par le cadre magnifique, tout à été parfait dans cette soirée au 4ème mur. L'equipe est top et à l'écoute du client, les plats sont succulents, ni trop copieux ni trop peu, juste ce qu'il faut. Tout est fait pour passer un très bon moment. Même l'addition que l'on pourrait penser élever dans ce genre d'établissement surtout portant le nom d'un grand chef est dans la norme. Une très grande découverte et une soirée à renouveler et à recommander.

16/08/2024: Ni fait ni à faire... nous sommes venus pour dîner , 2 personnes.... Le restaurant est loin d'être rempli, accueil sympathique. nous avons attendu 1h20 entre la prise de commande et le service d'une entrée. Pas de carafe d'eau servie (demandée lors de la commande), heureusement on peut se rabattre sur les couverts et la serviette déjà disposées avant notre arrivée... Quelle surprise de voir 5 membres du personnel chanter joyeux anniversaire pendant que des clients attendent accessoirement d'être servi. Nous sommes partis, suivi du couple qui était à côté de nous. La restauration est un métier qui vous est tout sauf familier.

The homemade tortilla pancake brings an artisanal touch that makes all the difference. The service is up to par: fast and warm, in a clean establishment, even if the atmosphere remains rather simple. It's the perfect place to enjoy a meal without fuss, but with authentic and well-crafted flavors. If I had to note one small point for improvement, it would be on the portions, which could be a little more generous. That said, the quality remains excellent and the value for money is very attractive with a menu for €9, drink included. Quick tip: Pay attention to the hours, as it seems that the restaurant sometimes closes earlier than the hours shown on Google. Today, for example, it closed at 2:30 p.m. instead of 3 p.m.

13/08/2024: Very good experience. Quality cuisine, special mention to the foie gras and crème brûlée. Extremely pleasant terrace with ideal view of the pretty church. Easy to park. Pleasant and fast service. We recommend with your eyes closed

11/08/2024: We had dinner on August 10, 2024, the dishes are simply succulent and the service impeccable! Thanks to the whole team and management, the location with this church is just magnificent!

02/09/2024: Very expensive room considering the quality of the room! no air conditioning, TV the size of a computer, bad bedding, bathroom traces of mold👎above the kitchen smell of fried food in the room! in short, very bad experience!!! I wanted to try again with my friends and well we won't come back

25/08/2024: Catastrophic rooms! At €200/night we expect a minimum of standard and comfort. Nothing was on the agenda. It's not recently renovated, let's admit, but the carpet hides the misery, the mattress is older than me, the shower in the hallway leaks... in short, I don't recommend it.

25/08/2024: The Kilkenny beer was very good and well-drafted, the fish and chips were great, and the burger we had and the Apple crumble were delicious, to return.

09/12/2024: You will find specialties of Portuguese cuisine among others Maria will offer you the cod with fried potatoes a real treat, the caramel egg flan is not bad either and all this in a warm atmosphere.

11/10/2024: Maria's cooking is always so good. I always have homemade cod with flan for dessert. It feels like 1000 km away in Porto!

12/09/2024: First time in a youth hostel and I must admit that for the price I was amazed. The room is spacious with two beds, The shower room is not of high standard but is very functional. The cleanliness is top notch and the welcome is accommodating. Breakfast meets expectations for the price. I recommend!
