09/06/2024: I went to this restaurant for brunch with a group of friends. By calling ahead, I was assured that reservations were not necessary. However, once there, the staff was overwhelmed and disorganized. After a long wait and poor management of our group, we decided to leave without eating. Avoid for groups.
05/06/2024: As a Scotsman living in Bordeaux, it was a delight to find somewhere that serves a full British breakfast with proper bacon and black pudding! The food was excellent, the staff were very friendly, and the location is lovely, although slightly cramped. The prices I found fairly reasonable given the food, although it's still on the higher end of what you'd pay for a "normal" breakfast. Still, worth the money for that little taste of home!

15/09/2024: "We had lunch there, and my experience at the market is very positive. It's a very popular place and, to my surprise, very tasty too. There is also seafood, cheeses and all that to proximity. We really liked it.

14/09/2024: All the best bits of an English pub but with interesting beer, good music, friendly staff . We'd definitely go back when we're in the area. Recommended.

The vanilla soy yogurt was delicious! The lemonade divine, the hot chocolate excellent! The light lemon meringue tart, neither too acidic nor too sweet!
You have to think about booking! But it was really a pleasure for us to come, it was a special moment that delighted us! 🥰
04/09/2024: Nice spot for breakfast, brunch or just a coffee. The location is great, right in the center but a little out of the way. The decor is great! Go take a trip to the toilet 😉 As for the food, I found the products to be of great quality (trout, eggs, avocado), the service was quick and friendly. But I would have liked a little more seasoning... But I recommend it.

06/08/2024: Excellent subdued atmosphere in this cocktail bar where the bartenders are very attentive to the customers. A very nice cocktail menu and suggestions based on tastes, all done to perfection. The boards and tapas are excellent.
23/07/2024: delicious cocktail... beautiful venue... friendly barman... correct price... if you happen to be in Bordeaux, take a step further along the Garonne (city side) and go to this place... the bathrooms are also very nice ... to come back if it happens!

18/07/2024: Pretty shop filled with objects from northern Europe: Finland. And a very charming gentleman who welcomed me. Definitely the owner.
I was looking for a heart to add to my collection and so I found a little heart that was very different this time and so cute: small, bright red in color and made of delicate wood from Finland.
So here it is at home hanging on the handle of my dresser drawer.
I'm happy!

Privatization of the basement room with provision of sound system and karaoke.
The organization was done with the bar owner. Very professional and friendly. He knew how to offer me what I needed to be able to snack and drink.
Wide choice of beers and very good cocktails. The punch went away quickly because it was so good.
Max the manager and his team were top notch. Adorable, professional, caring. Everything was perfect from A to Z
I can only recommend this bar for a simple drink with friends or a private evening.

24/09/2024: I recently discovered the kebab at Georges, often cited among the best in town. The meat is well grilled, both tender and full of flavor, with controlled seasoning. The homemade tortilla pancake brings an artisanal touch that makes all the difference.
The service is up to par: fast and warm, in a clean establishment, even if the atmosphere remains rather simple. It's the perfect place to enjoy a meal without fuss, but with authentic and well-crafted flavors.
If I had to note one small point for improvement, it would be on the portions, which could be a little more generous. That said, the quality remains excellent and the value for money is very attractive with a menu for €9, drink included.
Quick tip: Pay attention to the hours, as it seems that the restaurant sometimes closes earlier than the hours shown on Google. Today, for example, it closed at 2:30 p.m. instead of 3 p.m.
