09/09/2026: The welcome and the cuisine are exceptional, traditional yet worthy of a top Michelin-starred chef. The prices are very reasonable and the ingredients are of high quality.
I highly recommend this restaurant and I can't wait to return without hesitation. The chef and his wife are very pleasant and attentive to their customers! Bravo and congratulations!
06/09/2026: A wonderful discovery! The food was excellent, with homemade dishes and high-quality ingredients. The homemade fries were absolutely delicious!
The waitress was very polite, smiling, and pleasant, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Special mention for the profiteroles: a real treat! 😍
A place I highly recommend and where I will gladly return!

18/08/2026: A very disappointing experience for a "crêperie."
The savory buckwheat crepe (galette complète) at almost €15 was quite bland and lacked salt.
The "Breton" crepe (butter and sugar) tasted neither of butter nor sugar.
Quite disappointing for the price. It's more of a brasserie than a crêperie, which is a shame, especially at this price!

23/08/2026: A pleasant restaurant on the banks of the Cher River, except that passersby walk between the tables and the restaurant with their dogs, lifting their legs to relieve themselves. The set menu is horribly expensive (€48 for a starter, main course, and dessert) for such small portions, and one dish (monkfish) was cold. The cheese course, four tiny slices, is excessive considering the price. And let's not even mention the wine: €28 a bottle. There are small restaurants where both quantity and quality are present for much less.

02/07/2026: Passing through Amboise today, we stopped at this little restaurant.
We had a very good meal for a very reasonable price. It was a buffet of starters, main courses, and desserts.
The starter buffet was simple but very good (excellent homemade potato salad), no endless menu, just two choices of main courses which guaranteed homemade food, and the same for dessert.
In short, exactly what you look for in a restaurant: simple but good!
Not to mention the kindness of the lady who greeted and served us, who clearly cared about her guests' well-being!
We will gladly return on our next visit.

21/05/2026: Cheval Rouge Restaurant - This was great. We finished visiting Chateau Villandry, and had a 1 hour drive ahead to Saumur. As we headed out of town, we realized it might be nice to eat here before we continue. It was a rainy and blustery day, so let's stop. We were not disappointed. A nice, quiet stop. The food was just what we wanted. Since arriving in France, seems every place is serving "tourist" portions, meaning more than we can eat to the detriment of quality. Cheval Rouge was just the right amount with the wonderful French flavors. Service was quiet and efficient. A good decision to stop here. Try the Lamb stew.
18/05/2026: Old room, hair dryer not working, renovation badly needed.
As for the positives - it was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was alright.

The food, from the appetizers to the main courses and desserts, is truly well-prepared in the traditional way, meaning everything is homemade—nothing is frozen.
EVERYTHING IS HOMEMADE!!
My steak was cooked perfectly rare 😋
I come back regularly with pleasure and I'm never disappointed, especially since the daily menu changes frequently.
I highly recommend L'Entrepôt; this restaurant is truly excellent 🤗

22/01/2026: Ideally located on the D910 in Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine, this Logis hotel is a very pleasant surprise for a stopover or a longer stay in the region. Easily accessible, it's a convenient starting point for exploring Touraine, its landscapes, and its heritage, while offering a peaceful environment once inside.
The welcome is warm and professional: you immediately feel expected and well taken care of. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with pleasant bedding that allows you to truly rest after a day of driving or sightseeing. The soundproofing is adequate, which is appreciated given the proximity to the main road.
The restaurant also deserves special mention: the cuisine is simple, generous, and carefully prepared, showcasing quality ingredients. The breakfast is hearty and varied, perfect for starting the day off right.
The value for money is quite reasonable, making this hotel particularly suitable for travelers passing through as well as those wishing to stay for a few days in Touraine. A reliable and friendly address, which we gladly remember and recommend without hesitation.
